That is where you got it wrong my friend. You have been conjoined to realize that the basic things you need are now a luxury. It is okay anyway for people like you. Just that if I audit your ogas account, you will weep for your dear state.

Keep quiet. I wasn't talking to you and if you must add your lazy mouth, you can help the person I quoted by showing us the yearly budget details like the lying poster claimed and if you don't have the facts, shut your mouth.

Other states are progressing, building their own airports, bridges, seaports and spo on while your own lazy ipob leaders dey do sidon look, shouting marginalization, abusing aregbe who is not your governor, who is not even responsive for your life, your taxes or allocations.

You wonder you don't progress and keep shouting marginalization..

Shameless people.

The problem is not with the ban but the available options. I was in Idumota recently and it was hell getting to Oyigbo. I had to trek cos Ambode is using this mechanism to empower the military and paramilitary people. You will hear price like #1000 for a few distance by the opportunist empowered people.
No problem banning them but there should be a better alternative on ground before doing this.

I will never.
The appalling thing is that they will continue to scam us while we keep watching. I have always maintained that Nigerians like to talk with little action though not all. The few are quickly interpolated and they go into the nodding mode.
We are to afraid to face our fear because we fear that the fear will lead to an abrupt end of all our dreams which this fear has not really helped to solve but has only made us a finest in the confine of a brutal suffering while the fearless laughs on.

It will be well when we unwell the all is well and hold the bull by the horn.

Guy even when you are faced with facts you are still arguing. Instead of questioning your governor, you are here defending the political rascals we call politicians. I beg to say you are either a part of this scam with your IPOB song.
It is good to be objective in reasoning and not foolishly support the guys who have no iota of care for you.
I think a forensic audit should be made to what happened to the initial budget for the said project, how much is the new coy paying back for the claimed work done and what process was followed for the procurement act.
I will never defend any politician that is a Nigerian. We know how dey go dey go.
deomelo:

You forgot to show us the state's yearly budget highlighting the sums budgeted for the airport.

Please show us the budget and airport allocation...

I don't know why these Igbos love to lie and manufacturer rubbish all over the place.

While your own incompetent village governors are still shouting marginalization and begging the FG for airport.

I like your pattern of reasoning. Once people see structure they believe all is well. At an economic summit around 2015, a question was put forward to the deputy on what mechanism had been put in place for teachers to teach in those schools and the answer was they have training for the teachers, they are motivating them in term of pay bla bla bla talk. I later had a discussion with someone from there and the response was shocking. Instead of sending these guys on training they send their cronies. Also the remuneration is very poor to say the least and those still doing the good work are doing for conscience sake and the mentality of if it's my child, won't I do better. Though this is worth commending but at the same time, it has been proven that it is not a function of good buildings but the quality of the staff strength.
lulufaj:

We enjoy deceiving ourselves in this part of the world. The teachers to teach in this school, aren't they the same poorly motivated, training-starved people?

My mother retired in 2012 after teaching for 32 years. Her salary was around half of mine(I got my first pay as a medical doctor that same month). Now she's retired and she's yet to have her monthly pension since June. Her colleagues still in service are suffering same fate. Theirs is even worse.

What mechanism has bin put in place to maintain this structure?

You see why we aren't going anywhere in this country? No headway in view.

Unmhmm.. Its a good move. But haven't you heard of pay your self also, when you get your salary pay yourself, pay your tithe, pay the needies (widows and orphans), pay your family (parents and siblings), pay your wife, pay your children, infact pay your friends too that are in lack, one shouldn't be substituted for the other except its insufficient, you are not born by your self, so you shouldn't live for your self alone. Well I just did an online interview for a job I got from LinkedIn. Was looking good until they asked me to pay some amount to have an interview in USA or locally. I think $150 for local interview. This is the first interview am about to get and am already losing faith.

You all pay the money, get the same contact details and then competition starts, the company then reduces their prices because there is competition and they become selective (my thought). There is information out there for you to research on. I am not against making money anyway but just sit down and creatively think through (for the students). Thanks for sharing this wonderful eye opener OP.

In an automated system, the PLC is commonly regarded as the heart/brain of the control system. With a control application program (stored within the PLC memory) in execution, the PLC constantly monitors the state of the system through the field input devices' feedback signal. It will then based on the program logic to determine the course of action to be carried out at the field output devices.
The PLC may be used to control a simple and repetitive task, or a few of them may be interconnected together with other host controllers or host computers though a communication network

Input Devices
The input devices are like the eyes which sees what is actually happening to determine the course of action to be taken. Input devices are push-button, keypad and toggle switches which are more of manual input-devices. Proximity switch, limit switch, photoelectric sensor, level sensor etc are other input signal. The type of input signal to the PLC would be ON/OFF logic or analogue. The input signals are interfaced to PLC through various types of PLC input

Output Devices
Output devices are responsible for action. They can be relayed inform of visual or movement. Some of the common output devices are motors, solenoids, relay indicators, buzzers etc. Some are meant for notifying i.e pilot lamp, buzzer and alarms.

HARDWIRED CONTROL:
Prior to PLCs, many of these control tasks were solved with contactor or relay controls. This is often referred to as hard-wired control. Circuit diagrams had to be designed, electrical components specified and installed, and wiring lists created. Electricians would then wire the components necessary to perform a specific task. If an error was made the wires had to be reconnected correctly. A change in function or system expansion required extensive component changes and rewiring.

DRAWBACKS:
Bulky and complex wiring.
Difficult to change the logic.
Unreliable.

Introduction to automation

According to wikipedia, Automation or automatic control, is the use of various control systems for operating equipment such as machinery, processes in factories, boilers and heat treating ovens, switching on telephone networks, steering and stabilization of ships, aircraft and other applications and vehicles with minimal or reduced human intervention, with some processes have been completely automated.

Automation has been achieved by various means including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic devices and computers, usually in combination. Complicated systems, such as modern factories, airplanes and ships typically use all these combined techniques. The benefit of automation include labor savings, savings in electricity costs, savings in material costs, and improvements to quality, accuracy and precision.

Control engineering has evolved over time. In the past humans were the main method for controlling a system. More recently electricity has been used for control and early electrical control was based on relays. These relays allow power to be switched on and off without a mechanical switch. It is common to use relays to make simple logical control decisions. The development of low cost computer has brought the most recent revolution, the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The advent of the PLC began in the 1970s, and has become the most common choice for manufacturing controls.
PLCs have been gaining popularity on the factory floor and will probably remain predominant for some time to come. Most of this is because of the advantages they offer.
• Cost effective for controlling complex systems.
• Flexible and can be reapplied to control other systems quickly and easily.
• Computational abilities allow more sophisticated control.
• Trouble shooting aids make programming easier and reduce downtime.
• Reliable components make these likely to operate for years before failure.

You are countering yourself. Lecturers will collect more workload because the students need more Lecturers. Students are too many that why Lecturers can teach in four, five schools.
