Please I submitted my visa application in October. For my PoF, I used just bank statement, and from what I have read here, it seems MyBankStatement is key in speeding the PoF validation process. Is it advisable to raise a web form for MBS details?

Just got an admission letter from University of Florida Gainesville

I got my transcript in less that 2weeks.. If you are just going tru the portal, you will wait forever. I have a contact at Exams n records that can help you.

I applied to two schools Texas A&M University-Kingsville and North Carolina A&T University-Greensboro both for Masters in Industrial Engineering. I applied quite early to both schools. I have an admit from Tamuk already (since November last year) though no word on scholarship yet (I was asked to mail them this year). For NCAT, my application has been with the department since December for review.

So the wait continues but the wait is almost over.

I ensured i asked the graduate recruiter about the requirement for transcript... Yea i really like d school plus the weather is perfect

Okay. Fingers crossed for you then. As for the transcript, perhaps that was the case for your department. For Electrical Engineering however, we were required to send official documents or our applications would not be considered. They don't even send unofficial decisions. Couldn't meet the deadline so I just let it go. Was sad cos I really love the school. I hope you get it.

I applied for MS and I have sent emails to profs..( I even decided to use my office email as someone adviced.) Unive of Florida require u to upload unofficial transcript and u send them the official one after you gain admission.

Are you sure it’s just one test center in PH though? I wrote mine in PH too...on the 31st of oct. We didn’t experience any challenges on the test day and I didn’t get the email you got talking about cancellation.
I just checked my gre account now and the status still reads the normal... “scores are currently not available. Please allow 10-15 days after computer-delivered test...blablabla “.

Thx for ur swift response.. Yes I noticed d connection tripped for someone else. I was just about to leave the centre then... Anyways will keep u posted on d outcome...Thanks again.

Yes, ETS have cancelled exams in a centre before. ETS TOEFL almost cancelled mine. I shared the story here. Did the connection trip off at any point during the exam that caused a time lag? Were you guys made to restart after that connection glitch? Did other people (if not you) experience this on that day? Was there any sign of examination malfeasance? These are some of the reasons that can cause it. As long as the centre had an issue, I believe you are to rescheduled at no cost to you. Do not stress it. Just relax..and aim to do better this time. Everything happens for a reason.

There is only 1 test centre in rivers state(PH).. I did mine in PH but still got the mail. Anyway will contact then tomorrow.. Let me stop stressing

The mail is from ETS especially for candidates who had their test on 31st October in river state. The test was cancelled due to unavoidable technical circumstances. If your test centre had no issue on that day, better to ignore the mail.

Google prometric and ets relationship...I actually called d initial number and it was ets rep that picked...She told me it seems there is smtn up with the exam i did but suggested I send an email to a particular email addy. I posted it here jut incase sme1 else has gone tru same.

They cancelled your exam. Reconnect with them as they are supposed to reschedule you for another at no cost to you. You will even do better so..better for you.

I applied for the GRE test today.. The earliest available date for my location is Oct 31st and I used my visa card to apply via the ETS site.. All I have to do is study, study and study... Bachelor GPA is 4.12/5 and my discipline is chemical engineering.

If u apply directly from the ets site, i think u can get a date for next week... Please confirm because when i went through the site I saw available close dates.

Well, just got some info from BY Mafit that the nearest available date for the GRE is November 5. I wonder what's going on.
That means I can't make spring 2019 admission anymore.

They probably won't respond to you because the answer is on this thread. Paying directly to ETS you will pay via a PayPal bank account connected to your main bank who will charge you $205 at the subsisting exchange rate which is like #360-365. Which means you pay $205×360/365 ~ #73.5K

If you pay via BY MAFIT you get charged #50K. They are well-known and are a licenced GRE etc. agency. If you pay via PonPon, you pay #45K. He is a firstclass grad, former Akokaite, currently doing his MSc in the US. A seasoned vet of this thread and one whom all those who have registered through him say he is above-board in his dealings.

It is a function of trust factor and your pocket. You don't get extra marks for using ETS for e.g.
