Fhemmmy:Even with present state of things people should still get married as soon as they can. I would say as soon as they have any form of income inflow. Since obviously they do not keep themselves from having affairs they are just not getting married. The resources spent or wasted on bf/gf crap is enough to lead a normal life. They should get a life partner and begin leaving and growing together as our parents did. Life has no blueprint so yours should not be like anyone's. Marriage ceremony expenses is not responsibilities of wedding couples, parents are supposed to take care of marriage ceremony, and there is no minimum level of expenses, I mean it does not have to be talk of the town. You can limit number of babies making there are so many legitimate ways of doing that. My take about marriage is that if you want to do it, the early the better. You grow and mature on it. Even if you marry at the age of 50yrs you would still go thru the learning curve why not start early. It takes a minimum of 20- 25 yrs to train an average child to be able to be on his or her own, add that your present age how would you not train a child with your retirement fund. If you are still struggling at 30 who gives you assurance that it would be better soon. So get at it now, now. May God help you. |

Builder:There is no connection btw their dying anyhow with how they ruled us. Everybody dies so no gain in rejoicing over anybody's death. Even as the news of their sickness make headlines their victims still die unsung every day of lesser sicknesses. They never told you they would not die, infact it is fear of death and poverty that make some steal so much for their unborn 20th generations. Instead of waiting for death days of wicked leaders we should find a way of getting good leaders in place, in my opinion. |
[b]IBB family says Maryam is alive Abuja, Nov. 16, 2009 The family of former Military President Ibrahim Babangida says Maryam Babangida is alive. The family made the clarification in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja in reaction to a rumour making rounds that the former First Lady is dead. The statement, signed by Ibrahim Ismail, Special Assistant to the former president, described the rumour as ``untrue, cruel and malicious’’. ``The IBB family wishes to assure Nigerians and well wishers all over the world that the matriarch of the family Hajiya Maryam Babangida is alive and not dead. ``We wish to state unequivocally that the rumour which says she passed on at a Hospital oversea was a calculated attempt to create mischief. ``Albeit, the power to give life or take life belongs to Allah. As people of faith, the Babangida family believe that at the appointed time, every soul shall revert to its creator,’’ it said. ``We would like to use this medium to thank all the people who have communicated with the family to ascertain the true position of Hajiya,’’ it added. Whatever fact you guys dig up does not give those banks the right to play casino with people's money. Non of the CEOs said to have given unsecured loans have come out to say he lied. Anything done to safe this economy is fine. People have lost almost all their life investments in Nigeria in the past two years and the drainage must be stopped. What is the proportion of Unity Bank loans to Oceanic or UBN or Afribank or ICB. We like to complain of bad government, lack of this lack of that but when someone tries to do something to correct situation we get blinded with either religious or tribal bigotry. The same sentiment not shared by the criminals in power both in private and public positions. Yet the complainers are the worse for it. |

Under normal circumstances, I mean with good education and economic development, ladies should marry at age of 21 and men at age of 25 that way they would be able to complete training their kids before retirement. Today's reality has chnaged that though. However for those who are lucky to be ready at that age its the best. |
There is no big deal for a woman to have anything separately but should not conceal it from the husband. If the man is trying to make ends meet at home only to learn that he had been doing all his best to make someone who never trusted him happy and fit , that could lead to the end of the relationship. Personally. I am advocate of couples keeping separate accounts both for security and accountability in case unexpected happens. Some women could go from rich to broke, a day after their husbands' death just because they have joint acct or the woman was dependent on monthly cash flow from the husband. Whatever you have, declare it, so that if someone told your hussy, he would not be the last person know about what his closest person has been doing. |
