i arrived obudu ranch at night, i wonder how scary it would have been if it was during the day. the driver was checking and confirming the brakes before we started up and i was like wow! do i really want to do this with whole family in the same car? funny enough kids loved the turn around as you go up or down.

most Muslims in port harcourt are non indigenes so there mainly Hausa and Yoruba mosques. I know that Mile 1 mosque say sermon in Yoruba and use an English interpreter.

I am not an authority in this topic but I think khutbah is sermon that should be said in language of majority of congregation. If most of the audience are Yoruba or Hausa it is better sermon is said in there language. If there is time or in mixed community there can be interpreters. Many mosques in Port Harcourt have English interpreters. Alhamdullah, I have prayed in so many countries and most say sermon in local languages if I attend local mosques.

This is similar to what IBB did to Kwara when in power he made Niger State most economically lucrative by transferring all natural resourses locations from Kwara to Niger state then further cut half of newly created Kogi from the same Kwara.

I don't know how this could have effect in far away Lagos. Scientifically, hurricanes that hit US gulf coast starts like small whirl winds in West African and gather speed as they move towards the Americas.
