The northern protesters should be ferried into Abuja, because that's where the game players are. It's what happens in Lagos or Abuja that'll ultimately decide the future of this protest. |
OK... |
Vergovert:Chinwe Layla Tinubu |
One of the easiest solutions to the current economic quagmire Tinubu has thrown Nigeria into is the dissolution of this non-productive kwontry. |
vanbonattel:You're very inconsistent. Today you support protest, tomorrow you say the protesters should go home. Is everything OK?? When was there a time in recent memory where price of commodities tripled in 1 year or you're still feeding from mom and dad?? |
Propaga to weaken the protest. It'll not work. |
mrvitalis:Are you saying that you don't know that trutharena, chinkoalhaji34, slfioksq and the others are programmed bots that churn out automated messages depending on the title of the thread?? They were formally operated by humans but are now automated, just like some Twitter accounts are run by bots. |
Well said. He even advised the protesters to use a gingering song to move the protest ministry to the next level . I always knew that Soyinka would have been a regular critic of Tinubu, if not for obidients trying to gaslight him into doing so and viciously insulting him. SisterAnn:Absolute and unintelligent gibberish. Not everyone can be blackmailed. Don't quote me with this kind of balderdash in the future. |
That's exactly the way out. Nigeria has outlived its time. |
How can he afford biscuit when it's now a rich people's children's snacks?? Biscuit of ₦5 during 2015 is now ₦50. If this is not disaster, I wonder what else is. Some prices of product remained the same for more than 10 years, only for their prices to start doubling and tripling within months APC came in. |
They're not up to 5½. Tinubu met a bag of rice at ₦25,000 and he's succeeded in bringing it down to ₦70,000. So I wonder what people are protesting about. Let's give him another 15 more years before we start to protest. |
This is a massive crowd. |
Trying to redeem his image, just like VDM who said the protest should stop and called on Tinubu to declare a state of emergency on the first day of the protest, only to join the protest the following day. ![]() |
Those were smart replies. The people shouting "gaslight" upandown the social media are playing reverse psychology to deceive the protesters to back out. They're Tinubu boys. |
This man vomited this trash?? What concerns military with civilian protests?? He should go and read how protesters overwhelmed soldiers in Iran in 1979 and they dropped their guns and ran away. |
madridguy:You even shamelessly put "Copied". Are you saying you're so "dense" that you can't form an opinion of your own without copying someone else's own from Twitter?? |
If not for poverty, the woman should have been paying $1bn for her daughter's accommodation. Nigerians looking for ₦1000 for daily feeding are not humans. |
Omoawoke:Yes, in fact they're 3½. |
So the FG couldn't use the fear of BH infiltration to scare people from protesting?? Interesting. ![]() |
The protesters intentionally targeted the yeye NCC that asked the telecom operators to bar people's lines. Or is NCC owned by Kano govt?? |
Clutching at straws. It's like saying "Court declares protest illegal. Orders protesters to stay at home and pray for the govt instead" . |
LegendHero:There's a difference between flotation and devaluation. When you float, currency racketeers or political economic saboteurs, like we have in every country, can gang up and take the currency in this case, naira, from ₦300/$ to ₦3,000/$ within months. When you devalue, you're still in control of the upper and lower bounds of the rate. |
There is a height you attain in life where you would never want to take eat or drink water in an event. Was it not same water the Customs representative took at the NASS and a few minutes later collapsed and died?? Was it not event food Dora Akunyili reportedly ate and became a skeleton-figure before her unfortunate death?? Let's be wise. |
RepoMan007:Who told you many northern groups didn't condemn Buhari's govt again and again and again?? Even the fiery youth wing president of ACF that I thought ordinarily APC would buy over, was a very big critic of Buhari. It's like when Tinubu's tenure is over and then some people start saying that Yoruba people never spoke out against Tinubu's govt. That's short memory. |
If this govt was passionate enough, every inch of Nigeria would have become a farmland by now. We'll see radical programmes such as National Agricultural Revolution and more than a million graduate youth dispersed to work in those mega farms. He'll have even converted the NYSC into a farming scheme (like Tunde Bakare suggested) rather than the current model where "corpers" are just collecting money for doing nothing. |
If prices of commodities had remained largely unchanged since he took over, nobody would contemplate protesting that Tinubu had not turned Nigeria into London that he promised. We're talking about 500% price increment within 1 year. Do you know what it means for many people to resort to picking vegetables from grasses just to feed?? Things we used to hear about in North Korea and we'll be wondering how possible that is. Think again. |
franchasng:Can you leave out God out of this and unnecessary religious attachment, and simply focus on the fact that what the guy was doing is criminal and should face justice?? |
blabulu2000:So for example, only Americans participate in protests in the US?? Why should Indians or Brazilians or South African or Mozabicans not protest in Nigeria if they're living legally in Nigeria and are tax payers?? Are they buying their own rice at the rate of ₦30K per bag?? |
Mynd44:Nobody knows it all. ones = look, one = looks; elections = draw, election =draws. Singular noun/pronoun = plural verb, and vice versa. |
Only 10,000 youths are in the Niger Delta. Very good. ![]() ![]() |
I hope the organizers see through these hypocrisies and decipher that this is another psychological operation (psy-op) towards weakening the protest. We'll soon hear that the FG has budgeted ₦50B to buy snacks and water for protesters. Mace0lane:No, I'm not. Mace0lane:Nigeria has more than 500 ethnic groups and you Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo think you're the only ones on Nairaland?? |
Over-the-top wokeness that will eventually finish Western civilization. |
