Pipefitter:To avoid panic. Everyone knows it has been devalued since Monday, exactly what tinubu promised to do. Now if only the media will have sense. |
Bobloco:That twitter handle Actualities229 is a popular Benin republic handle that posts political news. It's not a blogger nor a random handle dt started yesterday, Mr obidient. |

Spicycat:Deputy chief of staff is chief of staff to the VP. |
Another FAKE NEWS! |

So, all this analysis on a picture of 3 people. Can you prove dt nnpc and cbn heads are in dt room? If they sue you people to court na it will turn to hashtag freeazubuike. |
proeast:Oh please stop wt the wailing. All our petroleum is imported. Crude is not petrol. NONE of our refineries are refining anything! All petroleum imports enter through Lagos. All the tank farms dt store them direct from the ships are in Apapa. Tankers go from there to the rest of the country. Many of the pipelines dt are built to reduce transport costs are usually damaged by we Nigerians, dts why it goes by road. By the time the refinery starts working prices will fall and when BUA refinery also starts in Akwa Ibom, dt axis will be much cheaper. Let’s focus on what’s important. The main thing we should be asking from this government is Power, now that fuel is not affordable for businesses. Whatever savings must be directed to electricity in order to drive down business cost. |
Thegamingorca:No. We currently have a drug epidemic. |
By Ignatius Igwe Updated May 30, 2023 The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has busted a drug market reputed to be the largest in West Africa, after months of undercover monitoring. NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying the agency was able to mobilise necessary assets to trace the illicitly manufactured drug to the Ogbogwu market, Onitsha Head Bridge in Anambra State. He also said two members of a syndicate were involved in the illicit importation and trafficking of the lethal synthetic opioid, Fentanyl. Identifying two members of the syndicate as Odoh Collins Oguejiofor and Oliver Chigozie Uzoma, the NDLEA spokesman said the arrest followed “credible intelligence and synergy with local and international partners.” Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than Tramadol and capable of causing mass casualty among the youth population being targeted by the cartels. “The arrest is coming on the heels of an alert issued by the anti-narcotics Agency on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 that some criminal elements were plotting to flood the Nigerian market with the drug, which is currently responsible for over 70% of overdose deaths as well as a major contributor to fatal and non-fatal overdoses in the United States”. “Following credible intelligence and synergy with local and international partners, the NDLEA was able to mobilize necessary assets to trace the illicitly manufactured drug to the Ogbogwu market, Onitsha Head Bridge, reputed to be the largest drug market in West Africa, after months of undercover monitoring.” Source: https://www.channelstv.com/2023/05/30/ndlea-busts-largest-drug-market-in-west-africa-arrests-two-suspects/ Lalasticlala mynd44 Dominique

Influencers influencing. You just know when influencers have been paid for marketing on twitter. All of them will be saying the same thing (ecspecially something random) so dt it turns to discussion and trend. |
Not worth it. Each increase will cause panic buying and scarcity and uncertainty in the market. Best to yank it off and spend money on areas where people are bleeding as a result of the removal. Fuel tank is 500 per ltr in Togo. All our fuel dt marketers take to dt country will stay here. If we hang on, costs will reduce when it’s no longer imported and it’s being sold by the refineries. By next year BUA refinery will also be distributing products from dt axis and reduce transportation costs. If electricity is stable or Business people are able to provide solar alternatives into the market, these would reduce demand for fuel. Less demand always causes market price to fall. We must sort out electricity to make the economy more productive. |
Aonkuuse:Should he be sad for leaving office? |
The ex-Governor Kaduna posted this on his twitter page: PEACE OF MIND AT LAST: Today is my first day since leaving office of Governor of Kaduna State. It has been the easiest day I can recall in nearly ten years - no wake up calls or knocks on my bedroom door, no packed schedules from Adejoh Momoh, no running up and down to meet timelines, and no early security reports to read and issue directives!! So, for many like me, life is much easier as objective bystanders - but for our younger generation, know that you don’t have the luxury of being excluded from politics and public service. Please be willing to sacrifice your time and resources to help President Asiwaju and all your state governors to succeed whenever called upon. To the older generation with experience, contentment and integrity, be available in small numbers as well to serve. Be prepared to add your knowledge, wisdom and judgment to mobilize the energy, innovation and courage of the youth to address the challenges our nation faces. Together, we will the be able to achieve the Nigerian ideal that President Tinubu outlined yesterday in first inaugural speech. - @elrufai Source: https://twitter.com/elrufai/status/1663609202084831232

We’ll he’s itsekiri. They are half bini, half Yoruba. He’s our cousin and only hyping his ancestry. Hyping one’s self is allowed once in a while. |
Tinubu didn’t even say this. Neither did his spokesman. Lol! This is one of those media centers in Lagos from campaign. They better keep quiet, they have no authority now and can’t be speaking for the president. |
Bobloco:They were wrong. GEJ was right. You don’t need refinery’s to work to remove subsidy. Togo has no refinery, no crude and sells at 500per ltr just on imports. The refinery will reduce the costs to be less than our neighbors though. |
OVB123:Different parts have different prices I guess. My friend bought it at dt price. People are still getting it 195 in Abuja o. |
Yourprick:Hope u know he has an Abuja home too. That’s the mansion his children live in. They don’t go to the village. |
300 in Lagos island, 600 in mowe, 220 in Ibadan. It’s all over the map. |
So they should be there forever? We blacks are our problem. Why the ridiculous headline mocking him? His time is done so he should exit stage left. Tinubu and his team will also do and go. |
It’s must be nice sitting in ur office and getting 100billion alert from government even before selling any product. Of course they don’t want it gone. They should have allowed GEJ remove it before it got so big. GEJ was right. |

wunmi590:He won by less than 50% margin. The difference with PDP wasn’t up to 100k votes. |
Chai. Why go to stadium? He should have just put canopy in front of state house. Not every state governor uses a stadium for handover. |
lexy2014:In Togo it’s 550 per litre. Market price cos it’s all imported. This should end up being the ceiling here too. Greed is what will make anyone charge higher than prevailing market price. |
Fuel stations must sell fuel. Police should be sent out to enforce it. |
ruggedtimi:Yinka is Remi’s son. She has two daughters and 1 son for him (Abisola, habeebat, Yinka). He has 3 older kids that aren’t Remis children - Folasade, Jide, seyi. Jide is dead. |
