All petroleum imports enter through Lagos. All the tank farms dt store them direct from the ships are in Apapa. Tankers go from there to the rest of the country. Many of the pipelines dt are built to reduce transport costs are usually damaged by we Nigerians, dts why it goes by road.
By the time the refinery starts working prices will fall and when BUA refinery also starts in Akwa Ibom, dt axis will be much cheaper.

Let’s focus on what’s important. The main thing we should be asking from this government is Power, now that fuel is not affordable for businesses. Whatever savings must be directed to electricity in order to drive down business cost.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has busted a drug market reputed to be the largest in West Africa, after months of undercover monitoring.

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying the agency was able to mobilise necessary assets to trace the illicitly manufactured drug to the Ogbogwu market, Onitsha Head Bridge in Anambra State.
He also said two members of a syndicate were involved in the illicit importation and trafficking of the lethal synthetic opioid, Fentanyl.

Identifying two members of the syndicate as Odoh Collins Oguejiofor and Oliver Chigozie Uzoma, the NDLEA spokesman said the arrest followed “credible intelligence and synergy with local and international partners.”
Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than Tramadol and capable of causing mass casualty among the youth population being targeted by the cartels.

“The arrest is coming on the heels of an alert issued by the anti-narcotics Agency on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 that some criminal elements were plotting to flood the Nigerian market with the drug, which is currently responsible for over 70% of overdose deaths as well as a major contributor to fatal and non-fatal overdoses in the United States”.
“Following credible intelligence and synergy with local and international partners, the NDLEA was able to mobilize necessary assets to trace the illicitly manufactured drug to the Ogbogwu market, Onitsha Head Bridge, reputed to be the largest drug market in West Africa, after months of undercover monitoring.”

Best to yank it off and spend money on areas where people are bleeding as a result of the removal.
Fuel tank is 500 per ltr in Togo. All our fuel dt marketers take to dt country will stay here. If we hang on, costs will reduce when it’s no longer imported and it’s being sold by the refineries.

By next year BUA refinery will also be distributing products from dt axis and reduce transportation costs.

If electricity is stable or Business people are able to provide solar alternatives into the market, these would reduce demand for fuel. Less demand always causes market price to fall. We must sort out electricity to make the economy more productive.

You don’t need refinery’s to work to remove subsidy. Togo has no refinery, no crude and sells at 500per ltr just on imports. The refinery will reduce the costs to be less than our neighbors though.

In Togo it’s 550 per litre. Market price cos it’s all imported. This should end up being the ceiling here too. Greed is what will make anyone charge higher than prevailing market price.

Fuel stations must sell fuel. Police should be sent out to enforce it.

At today's historical swearing in, I Noticed an unknown guy amongst the family members of Tinubu that witnessed the handover/swearing in oath. A quick search I found out his name is Yinka Tinubu. Rumour has it that he is the third son of tinubu.

Yinka is Remi’s son. She has two daughters and 1 son for him (Abisola, habeebat, Yinka).
