Abeg who has tracked their application this morning. The biometrics enrollment part has changed from colour green ooo. While application has been transferred to VAC meanwhile today is just the 7th working day and no priority service was paid for. I suspect there’s an error with their system. Have seen about 2 more people with the same complain. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

IELTS UKVI General training with at least a band score 4.5 overall. Not sure how that works but that’s the equivalent for the CEPR B1 English language frame that’s required for the HCA visa. There’s no harm in aiming at getting a higher score though. Good luck rebless: |
One love bro Tension efri here and there ooo lol Abeg drop me the steps to how I can achieve that. Much appreciated bro coopfortune: |

Downloaded the barter by Flutterwave app but I can’t seem to find the security code for the card and it’s requesting it on the worldpay payment section of the application. And also how does one fund the barterwave app from say the Uk or USA ? Thanks y’all |
[To the glory of God I did had less than a week to practice. I practiced with Ieltsliz on YouTube and E2 on YouTube also Meanwhile I had a 6.5 in my writing cos I only indented my paragraph in task 1 and didn't indent at all in task 2. You are supposed to leave a line after each paragraph and make sure every paragraph entails a logical point, solution or example. You have 25% for cohesion and coherence so that's a very vital aspect you need to be !mindful of. It's very achievable. Just know the tips and tricks. For my listening I was a bit skeptical cos my attention span is quite small and I even zoned out they day. If this happens, just keep answering the questions you can find when you snap back and ignore the ones you missed. I got a 7.0 in listening and 7.5 in speaking, and 7.0 in reading. I think I ought to get more than that in my reading but who knows? And I did UKVI GT so the score for reading band 7 is around 34-35 out of 40 which is a good try! 7.0 overall and it's a wrap Mostly importantly Pray. God hears quote author=whocares1 post=107392164]Has anyone passed the exam at first attempt? Kindly share how you did it[/quote] |
I think it’s IELTS UKVI General training for work visas. That’s what I was told to do in my case. dee1504: |

Hello, I do not know any employment agency for now but I’ll keep the thread posted as soon as I get any vital information in that regards but please be informed that you cannot switch to the Skilled worker Visa while on a visit visa. The only thing that can be done is to show up in person for the interviews and but on securing the job you will have to come back and apply from your home country. You cannot work on a visit visa. Hi everyone, please am new here and would love to take the IELTS test by October 30th, yet to book but I should book tomorrow by God’s Grace. Which do you recommend I sit for IDP or BC? Considering I would be taking the test in Ibadan. Which has more leniency when it comes to marking and has faster test results. Please help with study materials for IELTS General training as I can’t risk not acing this test at once for financial reasons. Please help a sister out. Thanks |

Dear Achmed, Congratulations once again on your Visa and are you in the UK already? Please I would love to ask what IELTS score band is required for the Health and care Visa and in your case I assume you used Naric assessment, how were you able to pay for the Naric from Nigeria? And please if there’s anyone on here that has done CBT IELTS please can you shed more on light as in what to expect? Is it feasible considering all my computer literacy skill no pass on top phone and kindle and I would prefer the CBT test because of the faster result date. Please help achmed1: |
Woow thank you for the vital information. That would mean that they shouldn’t get it done beforehand. I got from the school info section from Nairaland that it’s 2 years but I did a quick search now and found out it’s actually 6months as you stated. Odedenshi1: |
To others who are hoping to get Sponsored jobs too. Please let me share a few tips that might help. 1. Download the CV app and register duly and make every experience be it internship or volunteer jobs count. Also be very sure of the referees you will be using for your CV cos they will be contacted before you can be issued your offer letter when you eventually get the job. Also I would advise that you download a sample CV in your job field and follow the templates. Your CV matters a lot and is almost like the master key that will unlock every other doors Of your career progression. 2. After you have successfully built a good CV, good on Apps like Indeed, TotalJobs, Glassdoor and NHS websites and register. Then upload your CV. Some of these websites have assessments that you would be needing to complete and indeed even gives the option to write a cover letter. That’s like a golden opportunity to sell yourself. Please do notices that. 3. Now in order to avoid applying to multiple job openings that you are qualified for but can’t get because they don’t have Tier 2 sponsorship license. You can go to Gov.uk and check the lengthy list of licensed sponsors. Write the employers that fit in your field then go back to Indeed and the other apps and just input the names. It will for sure bring out available job openings and you start sending in your applications. 4. In my case I made it a point of duty at a point to apply to 10jobs in a day. Yes it was stressful and at some point I gave up and trust me that was when I got the call. Matter of fact I I did 2 interviews in one day and got the both jobs. At some point i felt I was wasting time and it seemed almost impossible considering my level of education and all even my sister told me to give up but God showed up. 5. While waiting you can get your Naric assessments ready as it lasts for a lifetime and you would need it for English proficiency or better still do IELTS exams. To avoid any form of delay after getting your CoS You can also do your TB tests as people are finding it so difficult to book test dates and the result is Valid for just 6 months And of course except you lose focus you would have gotten a headway around the Job issue before the expiration. The only problem here is just that you would be needing a UK address while filling the form. You will also be needing a police certificate but you can easily get that at Alagbon and you can’t apply for it pre employment because it is only valid for 3 months and 6. lastly and most importantly get your funds ready. A lot of these employers are not ready to pay for anything. They even see the CoS as a huge favor which sadly is in this part of the world. So you need to get your funds ready CoS agencies are “bombarding” them with applications but I think they just stretch out to select random applications here and there. So once they see you are dragging your matter, they move on to the next eligible candidate. Let opportunities meet you prepared at all times. Especially since it’s Japa season and everyone is looking for a way to legitimately escape this Buhari’s wahala and secret achievements Please I’m open to more hindsights as I still have a lot of people who want to try this visa route too. God will see us all through |
Now you are the one that needs to calm down and redirect your browser to Gov.uk Read the employer/sponsor section and you will find out there’s something called “skill charge” that employers have to pay for every worker they intend to bring into the UK even after they have been duly licensed to sponsor. Please get your facts right before coming to Form woke on educative platforms like this so you don’t end up misleading people with your hasty generalizations. Attached below are screenshots from the website realvip:

Hi RealVip, It’s not that deep ma’am, so please relax and read reviews on websites like Quora and reddit where you will find reviews from other nationalities. Some of the things you would be paying for are your Visa fee, flight cost, accommodation in the first month even though your CoS ticks maintenance, all your test fees, and in some cases skill charge which is rightly supposed supposed to be paid by your employer depending on the number of years plus the CoS certificate that costs 199 pounds. This is totally different from MMM and it’s wrong for you to generalize and conclude a situation you haven’t been in. You might have gotten an all expense paid job, well good for you but do not over rule the fact that others could get legitimate jobs too yet be asked to pay for all. I have done interviews with white employers whose first question were “Cam you pay for your visa costs” before they proceeded to ask other questions. If anyone gets a legit tier 2job that requires them to pay for their trip costs then I think its safe to say go ahead and pay because these jobs don’t come that easily and except for jobs skills that require a higher level of education no employer wants to throw their money around bringing you in from your home country for jobs like SCW . Some employers might loan it to you and deduct if from your salary as you earn. Life is not a one way highway abeg. Google google google. realvip: |
Hi RealVip Thank you for your response and as it should be this things are supposed to be paid for by the organization employing you but from extensive research from Quora and Reddit apps I discovered a lot of organizations demand that you pay either directly or indirectly. Some could loan it to you and deduct from your salary as you earn. Even some NHS agencies do this and meanwhile if you have to apply through an agency then you pay for both the agency charges and any other charges the visa incurs. These recruiters act like they are doing you a favor by bringing you in when they could easily employ your EU counterparts and boycott those charges. Sadly they are right especially when you are applying to sectors where a higher level of education is not required. Please I’m putting this out based on personal research to avoid throwing genuine job offers away if you can afford to pay for it. These jobs are not easy to come by and most importantly scrutinize and be 100% sure you aren’t about to enter one chance with your hard earned money. Cheers realvip: |
Hi RealVip, quick one regarding this CoS issue. Please I have been getting stories on how the company might ask you on interview days to pay for your trip. I mean Visa fee and all that. But somebody else said today that she’s being asked to pay her Skill charge. That’s like the fee the organization hiring you is meant to pay to l apply for your CoS which is around 1820pounds plusb199 pounds CoS certificate fee. Sorry did you pay that too? Or is there some sort of scam about to happen in that regards. Also can you please PM like a WhatsApp number I can send you a VN on so I can explain better if you don’t mind. Thanks to realvip: |
Just go to there office with prayers and faith you will be lucky to see one of their staffs who will give you a very near date. Best of luck buymyride: |
Hi everyone please help a JjC in the house, please how does one get Naric assessment result ? Is the e-statement enough to apply for UKvisa or does one need the hard copy? Meanwhile how can an applicant in Nigeria get the hard copy? |
Hi everyone, please help a sister out. I’m trying to apply for my child to move to the UK with me on a Tier 2 sponsorship visa. Health and care visa precisely. As a single Mum what are the documents to get ready and how do I show financial proof for a 5year old child. Will appreciate your kind responses thanks everyone |
