This was the only justification the UK govt needed to put us on that list and we gave them. Of course they know that one way or the other some of us that can’t wait to get out of this “Blessed Nigeria” will pay and keep it moving. Nigeria is so blessed with deceitful governments and citizens. If and only if ☹️
marylandcakes:
Maybe if Nigeria kept proper records then we wouldn’t be having this discussion. There’s no proper records of births, deaths, accidents, etc Loads of Nigerian travellers were using fake COVID passports.

TravelRe: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by RennyKitty: 8:52am On Dec 08, 2021
Hi,
With mathematics I think you should just try and get certifications that will qualify you as a teacher. I assume teaching professionals are still in the shortage occupation list. That will give you a better chance. Because if you do not work in healthcare and have no certificate to prove that you studied a health care course, you will be scored zero at the skill level and that won’t get you a visa except you have a PhD certificate that gives you 20points to make up for it. It’s a point based system and the above has been a problem for many at the visa stage of the process.
I hope this helps.

Please look up the Uk health and care visa thread on Nairaland here. A lot of us have dropped hints on how to get jobs and keep to track with your application up to the visa stage.

Lol sis be like say them never show u
U never jam visitor wey pass you lol
Na Naija I de ooo but for this Naija sef e get some kain friends and family wey I no go ever open my door to again. Except my direct sibling and few cousins. Make everybody hold their end. Omo I sha pray you will not jam visitor that will change this ur accommodative spirit ooo. Omo it’s even more irking how this so called visitors come to ur space and start feeling entitled to everything, then start bossing you around once they see you are willing to make them feel as relaxed as they can in ur home. At a point in my life you will never come to my house and not meet visitor. Right from college days. Cousins, friends and very very distant relatives sef lol you must sha find someone squatting in my house sha. But after all that have experienced with them nobody can spend more than a night in my house. I’d rather pay for your hotel the second night and leave you to ur fate afterwards. Even daytime visitors sef I no too appreciate anything pass 2hours. If you don chop and drink and we don gist small oga u gats need begin de leave oo. No time. I’m even more impressed that have started learning to tell people to their faces that I don’t appreciate their bad vibes and not feel like a bad person. At the end of the day, a lot of these people are often times not worth the efforts and they don’t mind sucking you off the last drop of peace and sanity and even materials things if you “slack” for them lol

Yinmu, what is the journey of life in the UK? Is it harder than life in Nigeria? Or was it convenient for our parents who took in family members that lived with us for yearsssss? Have you not seen how the Asians live in the UK? Why is it rampant among Nigerians to always send friend/family packing and leaving people stranded all in the name of "life in the UK"? My sister, what is not good is bad, let's talk to ourselves joooooor!

TheGreatGod:
PRAISE GOD HALLELUJAH!!! GOD ALMIGHTY HAS DONE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

If anyone doesn’t remember me, I will introduce myself briefly and will encourage some1 to click on my profile name to read a lot about me.

Some weeks ago, I was the person that was asking a question on behalf on my friend that I said he travel to UK and become overstayer for at least 4 years, did Judicial Review-one was successful while the other was unsuccessful and out of the unsuccessful Judicial Review, Home Office certify one decision as “clearly unfounded claim” but now God has done it for me.

In order words, I was the one that was disguising as my friend-you can click on my username and see more about me.

In short, with my overstayer in the UK for 4years and certified decision and JR, I put in my application for an entry clearance as a Tier 2 worker migrant (skilled worker/health and care worker) on the 8th of December 2021. The timeline are as follows:

Tier 2 (Health and Care Worker Visa) application submitted on the 8/11/21
Biometrics done on the 16/11/21
Application transferred & received by DMC on the 16/11/21
Application transferred to VAC 29/11/21
Application received by VAC 3/11/21
Passport with 3 years visa received by me on the 3/11/21. In fact I didn’t wait for the collection mail before I went there today. I arrived at 2pm, check in and received my passport with my visa

NOTE: All I will advised to people in my shoes that are U.K. overstayer with an entry ban is to return home in time, give home office about 3-5 years before you make an entry clearance application and be truthful in your application and please do not lie. Lying is not good and gather all your material evidence in order.

NOTE 2: A bit of warning to those that do mock people in this forum regarding their status, I will continue to say they are not God and they cannot know what God have for you. I can remember one person in this particular forum that mock me and say a lot of things about my UK immigration history but I told the person he/she is not my God and finally the God that I served have done it for me today and by special grace of God I will be among those that will be in the UK. God once again I thank you, you are so good to me and my family.

NOTE 3: A big appreciation to @ Bourne007, he/she is a wonderful and great person to me. He/she even asked me to obtain my SAR (subject access request) immigration history from the UKVI, which I did but till today I didn’t receive it till I applied for my visa application and received my passport today. I pray that as you meet my need my God almighty will also continue to meet your need and that of your family IJN. I am really grateful personally to you ma/sir.

Thank you all!!! UK here I come IJN, no weapon against me shall prosper IJN (Amen).

Maybe not but I could remember vividly that we did general nursing science in year 1 and did a general nursing practicals for year 1 internship at the state general hospital back then in the college of health even when my course was Dental Surgery Technician. And so did most year 1 students from other departments. That should fly but then who are we to decide lol. Been working as a nursing assistant for over 2 years in a hospital and worked for some years in dental clinics. You only need to do 18months course conversion to change to dental nursing from being a dental technician. Meanwhile I’ll try to find out more on the courses the rejected older applicants studied
akaprince:
If they have qualifications from college of health technology in Nigeria, it may not fly. I think they assess the Diploma from college of health not to be closely related to health and social care. Nursing Diploma will fly without any issue because it falls under health and social care. Those with bsc that were denied too may have a degree that is not closely related to health and social care. Perhaps you could provide more details on the degree qualification these ones presented so that we can analyze and learn.

Hi , visa refusals even after CoS has been issued. And one had university degree. I’m guessing they didn’t study health related courses maybe.
And if NVQ3 is just a 9months course that means Our diploma from health colleges Senior am well well be that lol
Meanwhile I heard also that the NHS has stopped sponsoring visas for Senior care workers so job seekers in that respect might want to save some time and energy by narrowing their search to only licensed care homes. On a brighter note we pray mass care worker shortage will inspire them to stamp for all scw applicants lol. Fingers crossed, it will end in praise
akaprince:
Please, do you mean job application rejection or visa refusal?

From what I know, nvq level 3 is a 9 month program and is not a degree. It's equivalent to A-level in the uk. It's more like a year 1 Foundation program. Our 3 year Diploma in health cert is above it. If you apply to NHS jobs with a 3 year Diploma cert in health, you will be shortlisted for interview though will also depend on your work experience and your profile.

Hello house,
Please those who have successfully applied as senior care workers should come and help us clear the air on the certifications required to prove “appropriate skill level”
What exactly do they mean by NVQ3 equivalents in adult health and social care or related health professions?
Been hearing some disturbing refusal stories due to inappropriate skill level and it’s really scary.
Some said if you have a certificate from a college of health or a training in adult health and social care one needs to get a Naric comparison statement to prove that it’s equivalent to NVQ3. Does that mean that our diploma certificates from institutions like college of health technology in Nigeria won’t be enough proof. From the universal grading sheet, a diploma from a college of health technology in Nigeria is equivalent to level 4/5 Btec or so. I don’t know if I’m correct. But I’m scared stiff. Some please help clear the air. May God’s mercy and favour speak over our applications in Jesus name
