Someone may have paid 4500 its original value under bidding pressure but that doesn't increase its value by same factor. It can only do what it could before its price skyrocketed.
It is just a for inflation in the end.

U.S. to buy "nuclear emergency" drugs for $290 million.

"Nplate is approved to treat blood cell injuries that accompany acute radiation syndrome in adult and pediatric patients."

Nplate, the drug HHS intends to buy, is produced by Amgen. It is a subcutaneous powder for injection. 125 mcg (for one injection) is around $1,195.
The book of revelation clearly talks about parties looking to sell merchandise in hard situations.

Abeg stop, it's a tax-paying Nigerian company with countless Nigerian employees putting food on the table from their many operations all over Nigeria.

A narrow and cheap mentality is bad for your own future and personal awareness.
Even if they are foreigners. It is better than allowing one of our own ruin it like refineries have been.

Look at their faces. Posing for photos like dumbos. What do they know? Absolute nothing. Common rice mill, some yellow looking people must be invited to manage it for them. Shameless brainless parasites. Biafra must be restored come next year 2023. Enough is enough, we can't continue sharing a country with these bunch of lazy good for nothing slowpokes.
Better than letting black men make a local refinery of those mills. Far better.

I even a foreign president if it will help us progress.

It's scary that no Nigerian company can manage a rice mill. China builds our roads and railways while India owns nearly a majority of manufacturing companies in Nigeria. Another has been added — rice.
Better scary than bring us suffer like in refineries. I laud the LASG for this.

This is a "bit" of good news for some of us. A tax credit of $1,000 (500 bucks per adult in a household) will hit my mail box anytime from now as a result of strong resources price from the last cut. I wonder how much my government (in Canada) would be sending me this time around. Fingers crossed.
In Nigeria the opposite is the case. Money will flow from already squeezed individuals or masses towards the govt because there are no added value to crude.

"A litre of Nigerian petrol worth $0.45 (per litre) can be passed to Benin for $0.70," he added.

Estimates of the amount of gasoline smuggled abroad vary, with some independent researchers putting it at around 15 million litres a day, while NNPC's own assessment is 42 million.
The figures herein proves what I have always said on this platform, that subsidy can be maintained if leakages are blocked and alternatives are promoted. Alternatives like solar, wind and biochemicals.

Later someone would ask how this concerns countries like Nigeria. Nigeria would miss out on the windfall again and price at the pump for petrol might go up again.

Some oil rich Countries like Canada would send out cheques to their citizens for surplus budget, Norway would increase it's sovereign wealth funds, Oil companies like Shell, Chevron, Mobil, Total would be smiling to the bank e.t.c. grin
This morning we read how money not available for refinery was uses to plant corn in Adamawa or Nasarawa i think, and Osinbajo was there to commission it.
In Nigeria policies are made with who benefits in mind. That has seen the northern elites maintain a contradictory double standard in virtually every sphere of life.

May be after the corns are harvested they will enforce border closure and food blockade to the south to further prove they feed the nation.

There's nothing like revenge here..
Vietnam was a total failure for US, they had over 300k casualties (wounded included) although we know it's more than half a million..
The circumstances are different, south Vietnam is already an established state with over 800k soldiers, dobass isn't.. Almost 3 million US soldiers served in Vietnam include the famous Trump and best selling author Kiyosaki..

Russia have occupied almost as much land in Ukraine as the whole North Vietnam in which US spent 20 years and almost 3 million soldiers fighting...

Russia went to Ukraine with less than 200k soldiers including DPR and LPR army, South Vietnam soldiers alone is over 800k.
Ukraine has the largest army in Europe excluding Turkey and also the largest country by landmass, don't let anybody deceive you that Russia is not good.. Yes there are setbacks but trust me it's far from over... kiss
Be sensible when you argue. Stop downgrading Russia's strength to try and justify a woeful performance by strategist Putin. The only thing he had from day one was nukes.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Gov. by RepoMan007: 10:10am On Oct 05, 2022
Talking about nature of Ukrainian territory gains:

Gains in Kherson are significant because it was one of the four regions that Putin annexed last week - saying they would be part of Russia 'forever'.

It is also where the bulk of his best fighting units are located - up to 30,000 men at one point, according to analysts - so defeat here would call into question the Russian army's ability to hold any of the territory it now occupies.

Well North Korea sees it as a rehearsal for war against North Korea it has complained about this many times. One of the concessions North Korea demans from U.S if US wants it to denuclearize is to stop those drills. NK sees it as provocation the more the drills the more NK tests and further its nuclear programme. You sound more confused cause you are not current ASUU will resume very soon son so be happy.
they saw it as a threat because they decided to. Simple.

USA, SK and Japanncoukd also decide to see the missile launch as a threat and retaliate. It proves nothing in the end.

That's good. You provoked Kim with your joint drills with South Korea and US. Kim provoked you people too. cheesy
How is drill a provocation again?

If Nigeria and Chad should partner to hold drill, will it just aggression from Cameroun? You sound confused.

The only thing countries like North korea and Russia have in common is BALLS .

I love their courage, audacity, fearlessness, firmness, daring, fortitude, spirit, mettle, confidence, gutsiness, ballsiness, temerariousness, effontery. No time for nonsense.

How i wish China too with its vast economical strenght and power can also be able to stand its ground and not just make empty threats everytime the United state toy with them through Taiwan.

That would make Taiwan stop playing games with China by entertaining those evil westerners close to China.
Isn't it surprising that every world tension, upset, uprising, war is always connected to the US in one way or the other. Always going around pitting Nations against Nations. Japan and Taiwan too may learn the hard way just like ukraine is learning now.

China needs to man up,show balls too, and start acting like a world power they are. Not empty threats here and there everytime.
I pity ur life.
Programming › Re: How Well-paid Are Software Developers In Nigeria? by RepoMan007:
The article, though 2 years old, to me isn't analytical enough. Silicon valley and Nigeria are very different in the sense that Nigerians hardly pay for softwares. They go for cracked softwares a lot and over time, have formed the habit of looking for very cheap softwares. How will an agency pay 300k easily if clients are being offered quack options for 15 - 35k per job?
