I feel she is trying to negotiate. Accepting four mouths feels like a family structure readjustment situation. Like you opined, accept the younger ones and let the bigger ones find their way.
Was she taking care of them herself before now and will the baby caring responsibilities affect her earnings? How old are the two youngest siblings of hers? Are they in school? |
Family › Re: My Pregnant Ex Girlfriend Has Refused My Help by RepoMan007: 2:29pm On Oct 12, 2022 |
chatinent: It's a difficult situation...
1. You can't let her alone suffer in this condition with your baby.
2. It's quite difficult and almost impossible to feed four extra mouths, yourself, your wife-to-be, and her unborn baby.
Anyways, needless to judge you, let's do the positive.
I think she loves her sisters so much and don't want anyone to exploit or abuse them. But of course, she shouldn't make it look like your responsibility.
That aside. If you can, can you discuss renting a place for the other two clearly stating the degree of inconvenience it will be for all four to be with you both? Maybe, starting sth like a small-scale business they can manage and sell? Even if two of the eldest manage the business and the other little two stay with you? If you can?
Is it sth you can afford?
There are no rules in love.
Don't get me wrong. I know it's not your responsibility...but like you said, she's an orphan. Maybe she feeds her siblings..and of course, this condition will prevent that. I don't see any wrong in helping people if I have the means either.
Also attempt to erase the thought of you doing her a favor, maybe by sending her money for upkeep. Yeah, I know it's common for folks to advise you to stop sending the money since it looks like a favor...but man, remember it's your life that happens not theirs. It's your baby.
I see you only have a problem with their staying with you..but haven't a problem helping them. Whilst it may look impossible, if you are in a situation to help them from your heart, you can do so without inconveniencing yourself too.
Nice of you to take responsibility! Ignore the irritants! Be the man.
I wish you success.

If anything, their present predicament was caused by not remaining neutral and allowing the USA to deceive them into picking a side by joining NATO. , which by the way , I doubt will happen. USA is only using them as cannon fodde4s to provoke Russia, which is working perfectly as we speak You mean they were already admitted into NATO? Have you eaten today? |

Globetrot: Ukraine deliberately made itself a puppet to the west, they overestimated the help the west would render to them and forgot that the only goal of the west is to weaken Russia and that the west don't care about who is at the receiving end of the repercussions. And the funny thing here is that Russia is not running out of weapons anytime soon and they don't need contractors like the west to run their defense industry , the only lacking equipment in the Russian military is the drones aspect. If they had militarized since 1992, I doubt Russia would have invaded. I blame them for being neutral in a bid to please Russia as a puppet. |
Family › Re: Is All Money Actually Hard Earned Money? by RepoMan007: 1:38pm On Oct 11, 2022 |
Money is meant to ease exchange of things (tangible & intangible) and suppose to be hard earned by default. That's so because the things that attract money are hard to come up with. Even when they seem easy, higher standard elsewhere makes hardness inevitable.
Wisdom, a transferable force or inspirational virtue, was meant to ease that hard part of getting things done. Unfortunately, people have substituted crooked and fraudulent ideas of shortcut for wisdom. No longer is there a compulsory need to get things done before exchanging them for money. There are so many vices linked with easy money. Wisdom has been abused(abnormal use) to the point vices look like wisdom to undiscerning minds. These minds are sometimes clergymen who are suppose to break down the whole issue to the simple minded.

Viraltrends123: Government ehnnnn, the jobs and investment, they won't do, people that are ready to do it, they will still be disturbing them. If Dangote leave the site for them can they handle it, the imo government palm kernel and coconut farm, where is it today. What message are they trying to pass to other investors.
Dangote keep investing in the country despite it's Downfall, this is unlike most billionaires, even Nigerians don't appreciate, some hate to see billionaires succeeding from other tribes, all they have is fake social media billionaires that 90% of them cannot say how they made their money, and still they are naira billionaire that have never enter Forbes list. Let's try and appreciate good people investing in the country, we always ignore our governors that few days after leaving the office, they are already out of the country, years later, you will see them enter Pandora's paper of having secret investment abroad, and we the followers will say nothing is wrong with it.
if I'm the one, with my temper, I will even stop building the refinery, the government should keep importing fuel and cement, The issue on ground is bigger. Kogi state owned it from the onset and sold 90% of its controlling shares to Dangote. It was a nice decision for the ever corrupt govt officials who are always after short term personal gratification. At that time, oil income was good and they could pay salaries easily. Some 30 years down the line, oil income isn't as good as it used to and there is awareness generally, from the masses. The govt of the day suddenly realizes the owner of the controlling shares is so rich and now wants to enjoy the revenue from their resources more. They know they have alternative in BUA and co. This is how Nigeria will restructure gradually or disintegrate. Next is gold and land. Govt will wake up one day and say large farmers must sell a substantial share of their organisation to govt in order to enjoy profits or attempt to takeover the lands when what happened to Osun and Kogi state happens to them. |
