The Western leaders are saying that they want to drastically degrade Russian military strength (which you claim is nothing), so that it won't be able to carry out this type of offensive in the future. If you think about it very well, it is a threat. Is like saying your mission is to destroy Russian ability to protect itself.

So Putin responded by saying Russian has a lots of options and will use every means in at is disposal to defend itself.

I think the love for the US, has blinded some people. The US is not under any threat. The more than 5000 miles of Ocean separating the US from Europe and Asia is a formidable fortress on its own. Then it's nuclear capabilities and Naval strenght. The US is safe from every other super powers including it's allies. Except for Russia that can attack it from the artic.

The US irresponsible behaviour has resulted in the death of millions around the world, from Europe to Asia to Africa to Latin America. In Iraq alone more than 300k civilians were killed. She has violated UN laws several times. May be when the US turn against Nigeria and we are able witness her atrocities firsthand. Then we will know better.

Everything you accuse the west of doing to russia is what Russia equally accused Ukraine of 'trying' to do Russia. You made no sense in summary.
Consider that Russia only attacked based on suspicion and not on any tangible ground. The manufactured excuse of maltreating Russian speaking people is daft in so many ways. Is rus ( the Russian main language) the only language in Russia?

So you are one of a few folks here I enjoy their comments. It's okay to oppose people's positions without condescending to throwing insults. I will ignore them because I really enjoy reading your posts.

I have repeatedly said that passion or money are both valid reasons for being attracted to tech. My personal position is to encourage and assist those who are driven by passion. That does not in any way down play the financial attraction. In my personal experience, I've come to realise that those I have an affinity for those driven by passion. Your points are valid but there was absolutely no need mixing it with the insults. If IT went out of "fashion" today, I'd still be in the field. And it's a valid position to be in. Years back when I was spending all of my meager income buying IT hardware for home hobby my family outrightly thought I was stupid and unambitious. Spent a lot buying parts from America to build a drone in 2014 long before drone became a big deal. Stupid airsaylongcme. Bought my first RPi in 2014 earning 50k monthly. Stupid me. Today, all of those "investments" are paying off and I'm not so stupid anymore. But at the time, I did them because I wanted to tinker and understand how those kinds of stuff worked. Not because I was expecting them to become money spinners.

Maybe not exactly you but the forum is awash with those kinds of comments these days. That passion is everything. Passion is to keep you going when the road looks rough and money is ultimate the goal. My reference to Nigerians is due to the number of people mouthing it illogically here of late and meant no personal insult.
