Politics › Nigeria Suffers Tensity Rise Because Of Unpaid Salaries by resty4(op): 8:17pm On Apr 29, 2015
It is not a secret that stability in countries all over the world partly depends on fair salaries on time. Nowadays the country suffers from rising tension because there are a lot of incidents when workers don’t get their money.
Media sources fixed a lot of examples of it.
1. Osun
Workers in the employ of Osun State government have begun to lament the non-paymentof aboutsix monthssalaries being owed them by Governor Rauf Aregbesola-led administration.
“It has been very difficult to survive without salary for months. We cannot even afford to pay the school fees of children in private schools, while we also trek to the office sometimes,”said a civil servant in one of the ministries at the state secretariat, Abeere.
The workers agreed to boycott the activities to mark the 2015 workers day celebrations. Francis Adetunji, the factional Chairman of the Trade Union Congress, said: “No May Day celebration this year. That is the decision of the entire workers in Osun State. We cannot be celebrating when workers have not been paid a dime since the beginning of the year. The last salary we were paid was part-payment of November salary. Since then, we have not collected any salary. We will not celebrate the May Day because our salaries are not paid.”
2. Pletau
Government workers in Plateau state have given the state government seven daysto pay workers outstanding salaries and address other pending issues.
Civil servants seldom come to work and from all indications their morale is low as they could no longer cope with the ordeal of reporting to work on empty stomachs.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a security man said: “The situation is terrible, we just have to work because of the sensitive nature of our work, otherwise you wouldn’t have seen me here. The few workers you see within the secretariat are those living around here, who trek to see what is happening and leave anytime they want. If it means borrowing, the outgoing administration should do that to alleviate our suffering”.
3. Kogi
Workers in the state of Kogi have to tighten their belts. The state government told it cuts their salary nearly in half – by40 per cent.
This measure is the cause of the decreasing federal allocation, with N1.2 billion reducing from March to April. The state received the sum of N3.7 billion from federal budget in March, while in April it got only N2.5 billion, while the monthly wage bill is N3.2 billion.
According to the latest information Kogi State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the state government 24 hours to rescind its plan to reduce salaries of civil servants or risk strike.
The state NLC Vice Chairman, Alhaji Suleman Abdullahi said:“The decision by the state government to pay 100 per cent to officers on grade level 1-6 while those on seven and above will be paid 60 per cent will never be acceptable to the labour union. Workers in the state were not invited for discussion on how to go about the alleged short fall in the monthly allocation to the state before the decision was taken”.
Kogi State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has called on the state governor, Idris Wada to pay their entitlements or face industrial action. The state NUT chairman, Suleiman Abdullahi, who spoke in Lokoja at the weekend, decried what he called government’s insensitivity to the plight of teachers. He said many teachers had died due to hardship caused by non-payment of salaries and that even those alive were living in abject poverty.
4. Kaduna
Casual workers of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company on Friday besieged the campaign’s headquarters, demanding unpaid salaries and allowances.
The workers also asked that they be given priority during the forthcoming recruitment exercise. The protest led to a traffic gridlock along the Ahmadu Bello way and Mogadishu layout areas.
It also should be noted that Muhammadu Buhari, has been urged to slash salaries and allowances of members of the National Assembly.
Olisa Agbakoba said members of the Senate and House of Representatives did not follow the law in fixing their salaries and allowances.
He said:“The most important place that the president-elect can demonstrate his integrity is the National Assembly, by stopping the stupendous amount of money they receive as salaries and allowances. Their present salaries, as it stands, equal about 25 per cent of Nigerian budget, yet they are only 469. If General Buhari does not succeed in that, he would have challenges. The first test that his anti-corruption programme would have is to bring the salaries and emoluments of the National Assembly within the purview of the law set by the National Revenue, Fiscal and Mobilization Commission”.
Comrade Ayuba Wabba, President of Nigeria Labour Congress urged workers in the country to protest non-payment of salaries and pension arrears.
He said:“If they fail to pay, workers in such states should down tools and protest to the governors until all outstanding salaries are paid. If the incoming government becomes worse than the outgoing government, there will be more strikes but if it is better, then there will be less strikes. The new government has promised us change and we want to see positive changes in all ramifications”.

Politics › More Soldiers Arrive For Sambisa Forest Invasion by resty4(op): 8:48pm On Apr 28, 2015
Report reaching us indicate that another set of soldiers may have arrived Sambisa Forest in Borno State as part of the ongoing military bombardment on the Boko Haram militants.
The soldiers according to the Nation were sighted at the Kaduna international airport tarmac.
However, some of the soldiers who spoke to a correspondent said they have not been given adequate weapons for the operation, while others claimed they were made to sign forms that they collected N90,000 against the N30,000 they were actually paid.
They said,“We are going to Sambisa forest in Borno State for peace operation, I just hope they (military authorities) will give us the adequate weapons we need to fight the insurgents so that we can be reunited with our loved ones.”
However, when our correspondent was leaving the airport, three trucks suspected to be carrying arms for the soldiers were driven into the tarmac. The trucks sandwiched by pick-up vans, occupied by gun wielding and stern looking mobile policemen ‎were painted in Nigerian Air Force colour.
When contacted on the soldiers’ allegations, the Defence Spokesman, Major- Gen. Chris Olukolade, denied that the soldiers were denied their entitlements.
Olukolade, who responded to text message sent to him by our correspondent, said,“No one who does his duty properly in this mission has been or will be denied his entitlement. “
Last week Friday, it was reported that the military had attacked the last known hideout of the Boko Haram terror sect, the Sambisa forest with the use of warplanes.http://www.naij.com/429548-more-soldiers-arrive-for-sambisa-forest-invasion.html

Politics › Dokubo Asari Threatens To Deal With Buhari by resty4(op): 9:00pm On Apr 26, 2015
Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, has for the umpteenth time threatened deal with Mohammadu Buhari if the president elect chooses to imbibe a Pharaoh like regime when he assumes office on May 29.
The ex-warlord also dismissed fears that Buhari could send any one to jail, saying the president-elect does not have the power to imprison anybody.
Dokubo, who was taking a swipe at a Buhari supporter, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, on his Facebook page, made reference to a biblical allusion when he threatened to deal with Buhari in a Moses like manner if Buhari adopts a Pharaoh like regime.
He said:Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim your Buhari does not have that power to send any body to prison….get that into your piggy skull and nobody is afraid of him….We are waiting for him….following the example of GEAJ does not make us cowards….If he Buhari wants to be a Pharaoh….then he will find a Moses in me.
This is not the first time Asari Dokubo will be uttering such threatening statements, following the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 presidential election, Dokubo said he and other militants may be forced to return to the creeks.
The ex-militant had also in January said he and his colleagues would wreak havoc if Jonathan lost the election.
While Asari Dokubo has maintained a defiant disposition towards Buhari, other ex-militants have promised to cooperate with the incoming administration.
They have however pleaded with Buhari not to discontinue the amnesty programme of the Federal government, saying their support for him depends on the sustainability of the programme.http://www.naij.com/428195-dokubo-threatens-to-deal-with-buhari.html

Politics › Taraba Gov: Ishaku, Alhassan Go For Final Push by resty4(op): 4:00pm On Apr 17, 2015
What dominated the public discourse in Jalingo, the state capital, were conflicting opinions. More people believed that there will be no election, only a handful was confident that it will take place.
Another point of contention was whether or not the a credible election would be conducted in the country in spite of assurances by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
However, the March 28, Presidential and National Assembly elections across the country restored hope.
Taraba governorship election
The governorship election took place simultaneously in all the 168 of the state last Saturday and by Sunday, April 12, the results had started coming in at the INEC office collection centre in Jalingo. Beginning with Jalingo, Ardo Kola, Lau and Gassol local councils, the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, was in the lead amid complaints of electoral violence even in these areas leading to cancellation of results from polling units. When the other 11 local councils turned in their results leaving only Sarduna, it became clear that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Arc. Darious Dickson Ishaku will carry the day.
However, following complaints from the APC, results from 20 polling units in Bali were cancelled. The APC was leading the area with 23,263 votes compared to PDP’s 15,314 votes. Also cancelled were results from 12 polling units in Takum, nine in Karim Lamido, four each in Ussa and Wukari and one each in Yorro and Zing.
The crux of the matter
When the results from Donga local council was brought, there was a complaint of electoral violence affecting five polling units. PDP was leading with 37,069 votes while the APC candidate had 10,087 votes.
There was no complain against votes from the remaining 160 polling units but the Taraba State INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Muhammed Kyari and the Residential Electoral Commissioner, Ahmad Makama agreed that the results of the entire local council be cancelled. They told observers in the hall and journalists that it is within their powers to do what they did.
They also agreed that the governorship election in Taraba was inconclusive because the 54812 votes margin of lead between the Arc Darious Dicksion Ishaku of the PDP and Senator Jumai Aisha Alhassan of the APC was less than the 127,125 cancelled votes.
At the end of the collation when the figures were computed Arc. D.D. Ishaku scored 317,198 while Sen. Aisha of all progressive Congress scored 262,386 without the votes in Donga, the margin lead became 54,812 and cancelled votes became 127,125.
When the votes from the other 160 polling units from Donga are added to the total votes scored by both candidates, the PDP candidate will be leading with 354,267 while the APC candidate will have 272,473. The cancelled votes will stand at 79,969 while margin of lead will be 81,794 votes.
Reactions
The senator representing Taraba South Senatorial District, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha at a press conference described the action of the electoral umpire in the state as stinking abuse of the electoral process.
Thus, as the state goes for supplementary elections to decide the winner of the polls, there is fear of violence and electoral manipulation in the polity. There is fear of voters’ apathy as well. It is hoped that all stakeholders will play their roles effectively to ensure a free and fair and credible election.

Politics › Chief Judge Advocates English Language Lessons For Lawyers by resty4(op): 9:13am On Apr 17, 2015
The Acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Justice Ishaq Bello has advocated for continuous education for lawyers, particularly in the use of English Language.
Bello stated this on Wednesday in Abuja at the launch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) stamp and affinity products.
The Acting Chief Judge said that it was becoming rather irritating for lawyers to appear before a judge and continuously mix up their tenses in trying to present their cases.
He observed that the declining standard of lawyers could be noticed in the quality of legal practice, where a lawyer stands from the bar saying ‘’I didn’t did it’’ or ‘’ I saw them passes’’.
He urged the leadership of the NBA to do more to further encourage the continued education of lawyers, saying the trend was becoming quite irritating.
“All lawyers must go through what is called Language Usage Course (LUC); all lawyers must be exposed to the dynamics of global evolving legal landscape,” he said.
He added that the only way lawyers could keep up was for the association to continuously encourage them to learn.
He also urged the older lawyers to provide guidance to the younger ones.
Similarly, the Chief Judge of Borno, Justice Kashim Zanna, reiterated Bello’'s call, saying that it was quite embarrassing for lawyers to find it difficult to present their cases in good English language.
Zanna also encouraged the NBA to quickly organise the training, saying that the continuous use of bad English by some lawyers in court was robbing off on all lawyers.http://newsexpressngr.com/news/detail.php?news=10808&title=Chief-Judge-advocates-English-Language-lessons-for-lawyers

Politics › How Boko Haram Exploits, Rapes Abducted Girls — Report by resty4(op): 6:41am On Apr 16, 2015
Human Rights group, Amnesty International, on Tuesday said no fewer than 2,000 women and girls have been abducted by Islamist group Boko Haram in the past 15 months.
The group, which said this is in a report based on almost 200 witness accounts, added that many of victims were being trained to fight.
“Young women and girls are abducted, imprisoned and in some cases raped, forcibly married and made to participate in armed attacks, sometimes on their own towns and villages,’’ the group said.
A 19 year-old girl, Aisha, told Amnesty how she was abducted during a wedding in September along with her sister, the bride and the bride’s sister.
Boko Haram took them to a camp in the town of Gulak in Adamawa where the bride and the bride’s sister were forced to marry insurgents.
She said herself and no fewer than 100 other women and girls were taught how to fight and kill.
“I was among the girls trained to shoot. I was also trained on how to use bombs and how to attack a village.
“Then they started sending some of us to operations. I went on one operation to my own village.
She said during three months of captivity she was raped, sometimes by groups of up to six fighters.
Aisha said she also saw Boko Haram members killing no fewer than 50 people, including her sister.
Amnesty documented war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Boko Haram, including the killing of over 5,500 civilians in north-east Nigeria in the past 15 months.
Boko Haram has killed an estimated 14,000 people since 2009.
It said the group would take the women and girls they abducted directly to camps or move them to houses in towns and villages.
They would later indoctrinate them with their version of Islam in preparation for marriage.
Men and boys are regularly conscripted or executed.
According to the report, Boko Haram attacked and raided over 300 towns and villages in the past 15 months.
The insurgents target the military or police, capture arms and ammunition which they then used against civilians.
They would shoot anyone trying to escape, rounding up and executing men of fighting age.
Alhaji, 18, told Amnesty he had been captured and was waiting to be killed after Boko Haram took over the town of Madagali on December 14.
“They killed 27 people in front of me.
“I was counting every one of them because I wanted to know when my turn would come,’’ Alhaji said, adding that over 100 men who refused to join the terrorists were executed that day.
A 15-year-old boy, spared due to his disability, said he witnessed ten stoning.
“They stone them to death on Fridays. They will gather all the children and ask them to stone.
“I participated in the stoning; they will dig a hole, bury all the body and stone the head. When the person dies, they will leave the stones until the body decays,’’ he said.http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/181514-how-boko-haram-exploits-rapes-abducted-girls-report.html

Politics › Buhari To End Fuel Subsidy, Rationalise Mdas by resty4(op): 8:18am On Apr 15, 2015
President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said he would end fuel subsidies and the oil and gas sector would be reformed as a matter of priority in order to attract new investments.
Unveiling his economic policies at a Lagos Business School breakfast meeting, he added that he would run a very lean government, which would involve rationalising overlapping and redundant ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) in line with the Steve Oronsaye presidential committee report.
Buhari, who was represented by former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, at the meeting however disclosed that there would be very little action from his administration until October, partly due to what he ascribed to the fact that President Goodluck Jonathan is the author of the 2015 budget.
He said the federal government under the All Progressives Congress (APC) would seek “to align the electoral and fiscal calendars to avoid this type of problem in future”.
He informed his audience that the cardinal agenda of the government and their over-arching themes would be security, fighting corruption and unemployment.
“We believe that corruption has a very strong negative link to both security and unemployment,” he said.
He said there would be no real action until October partly because the 2015 budget “is Jonathan’s and may be fully approved in April. A very lean government is the focus, largely in line with the Steve Oronsaye presidential committee report. This report was available to the Jonathan government, but the will to implement it was absent”.
He promised that a cabinet would be announced very quickly within one week of inauguration.
“Anyone with a whiff of corruption or any kind of taint will not be in the cabinet. Our manifesto will reflect zero tolerance for corruption,” he said.
He acknowledged that the APC “is not a conclave of cardinals, as it includes the good, the bad and the ugly,” noting that in Nigeria, the bad and the ugly could be the biggest electoral assets, though the new government “will not interfere with law enforcement agencies or the judiciary even if APC members are involved in corrupt practises”.
He added that the Vice-President-elect, Prof. Oluyemi Osinbajo, did a lot of work as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State, assuring Nigerians that he would bring his experience to revamp and strengthen the judiciary to complement the anti-corruption drive and the rule of law. “He will also anchor the economic committee,” he said.
He promised that his government would continue with some of the programmes in the Jonathan administration, which were successful.
“For example, agriculture, though there would be a stronger collaboration between the federal and state governments,” he said.
He also spoke on his plan to consolidate such anti-corruption agencies as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), among others.
According to him, rather than strengthen key anti-corruption agencies like EFCC, ICPC and SFI, they are likely to be consolidated and a single entity would be made more effective.
“We believe Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is getting over-burdened by developmental finance issues at the expense of its core objectives; this will be changed,” he said.
He said the subsidy on petroleum products would certainly go and the industry would be reformed as a matter of priority in order to attract new investments.
“While power reform has been commendable and will continue, the approach will change,” Buhari said.
He explained that power transmission would be deregulated, regionalised and privatised in order “to break down centralised transmission, while the issues of gas supply to Gencos will be addressed.
“But the new government believes that Discos are the biggest bottlenecks presently. The government plans to add on 4,000 MW of power every year and expect that output will reach a minimum of 12,000 MW at the end of his tenure”.
He said the party’s groundwork showed that N3 trillion in savings could come out of plugged leakages, noting that the employment drive would be private sector led.
“The government will allow market forces to prevail, including in the foreign exchange regime,” he said.
The president-elect debunked speculations that he would use fiat to fix the foreign exchange, adding, however, that the government would keenly seek to protect the more economically vulnerable segments of the society.
He added that there would be a tightening of the tax noose, though there would be no tax increase.
“The Federal Internal Revenue Service (FIRS) will be strengthened and the LASG IGR template will be adopted at the national level,” he stated.
Buhari acknowledged that the country’s infrastructure gap required huge capital outlay, which the government does not have, but promised to develop a master plan for infrastructure development

Politics › APC Expels Three Chieftains For Diverting Campaign Funds by resty4(op): 5:25pm On Apr 14, 2015
As part of efforts to show to Nigerians how transparent the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration is going to be, the leadership of the party on Tuesday sacked three of its chieftains for diverting campaign funds

reports that the Delta State chapter of the party expelled three of its chieftains for allegedly embezzling campaign funds as well as indulging in anti-party activities.

It was gathered that the expulsion took place at a meeting held on Monday at the party’s secretariat in Asaba, the state capital as leaders were reviewing the performance of the party in the just concluded general elections.

The notice of expulsion was published in a national daily by the party on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
The party listed the affected members as Hon. Temi Harriman, who was expelled because she allegedly diverted the presidential election support funds remitted to the state.

In a statement jointly signed by Prophet Jones Ode Erue, the state party chairman, and Comrade Chris Onodjacha, state Assistant Secretary, Harriman’s“expulsion is as a result of seizure and diversion of Presidential election support funds remitted to the state which she then misapplied through persons unknown to the party, thereby undermining the party’s ability to win votes in the Delta South Senatorial District during the Presidential election.”

The party, however, declined to disclose the amount Harriman allegedly diverted.

The party in the statement also alleged that Dr. Alex Ideh and Mr. A.S. Mene were expelled“as a result of evident anti-party activities committed during the Presidential and National Assembly elections held on the 28th of March, 2015 and repeated in the just concluded Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections held on 11th day of April, 2015, during which they actively worked for candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.”

According to the leaders, the actions of the expelled chieftains were said to have caused gross embarrassment, ridicule and contempt to the party and are in violation of the party’s constitution.

Meanwhile, the state chapter of the APC performed below expectation in the just concluded general elections as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reportedly won most of the elections with a wide margin.

Literature › Chinese Writer Spends $225,000 To Look Like William Shakespear by resty4(op): 4:00pm On Apr 11, 2015
Zhang Yiyi, one of China’s most accomplished writers has allegedly spent a whopping $225,000 on plastic surgery to make himself look like William Shakespeare. Read more from Scoop:
News of Zhang’s intentions broke out in 2011, when he announced he would be using the royalties from one of his books on a series of cosmetic procedures that would make him resemble the English playwright. Apparently, he felt they shared a number of similarities already, like the fact that they both came from poor famil ies but managed to become successful writers, so he decided physical similarities were the next logical step.
According to recent reports, the devoted superfan had a total of 10 operations – including eye reconstruction, eyelid surgery, nose surgery and a face tuck – over the span of several months. He had work done on his nose, eyes, and lips, but judging by a photo doing the rounds online these days, the result wasn’t exactly a success.
He looks no more like Shakespeare than any other Chinese man I’ve ever seen, but as long as he’s happy… “Life is a process of striving to become a better person. I think the surgeries are worth the money,” Zhang Yiyi was quoted as saying.http://www.informationng.com/2015/04/chinese-writer-spends-225000-on-plastic-surgery-to-look-like-william-shakespeare.html

Politics › Boko Haram Storm New Marte, Kill Scores by resty4(op): 6:51am On Apr 08, 2015
Scores of residents of New Marte, Borno state, were killed by suspected Boko Haram insurgents on April 6, Monday. A military source disclosed to Sahara Reporters that also many soldiers were murdered when the militants stormed the town in cars and sports utility vehicles.
The fighters attacked a military based and civilian targets.
The source narrated:
“They attacked as a heavy group, shooting at both civilians and soldiers. Then one of their Golf cars laden with explosives sped and hit one of our APC [anti-personnel carrier] tanks. The collision caused a big explosion that killed many people and seriously injured many more. “Our soldiers killed a number of them. They were so many of them, ‎so there was shooting from all angles.
Then the assaulters’ car rammed into the carrier, which led to the explosions.
“The multiple explosions led to the deaths of dozens of both civilians and soldiers nearby.”
The official information on the issue is yet to be provided.
The Nigerian military, however, yesterday carried out a successful operation in Borno state, expelling terrorists from Alagamo forest. The forest used to be the insurgents’ hideout as it was not easily accessible. This is one of a series successful operations launched by the army in the fight against Boko Haram in the country.http://www.naij.com/417111-boko-haram-storm-new-marte-kill-scores.html

Politics › Kwankwaso, 4 Other Governors Make Senate, 4 Others Crash by resty4(op): 5:58am On Mar 31, 2015
Five of the nine serving governors seeking to go to the Senate have scaled the hurdle defeating their closest rivals to clinch the seats in the respective districts.
Four others who equally ran could not achieve their ambition as they were defeated in the race.
Those that made it to the Senate are Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano, Aliyu Magatakrada Wamakko of Sokoto, Jonah Jang of Plateau, Godswill Akapbio of Akwa Ibom and Theodore Orji of Abia State.
Those that crashed out are Mallam Isa Yuguda of Bauchi, Muazu Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi and Gabriel Suswam of Benue.
The number of governors that failed to make it is high considering the weight they pull in their states.
Most of those that were defeated lost to the clamour for change in some of the states while those that won have either the power of incumbency or the same factor of change going for them.
Others who have made it to the next Senate include former minister of aviation, Stella Oduah, former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Usman Bayero Nafada and former governors of Plateau and that of Gombe States, Joshua Dariye and Danjuma Goje.
About 11 governors had indicated interest in going to the Senate in their respective zones but some of them failed to clinch their party’s tickets.
They include Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta and Sullivan Chime of Enugu State.
Meanwhile, Senate President, David Mark will be returning to the upper chamber for the fifth time to represent Benue South Senatorial district.

Politics › 21 Commissioners To Dump APC For PDP In Rivers by resty4(op): 6:32pm On Mar 25, 2015
Only three days before the general elections begin across Nigeria, reports say that no fewer than 21 commissioners in Rivers state are set to dump the ruling APC for the opposition PDP.
Making the disclosure on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, was the chairman of PDP in Rivers state, Mr Felix Obuah.
Obuah stated that:“About 21 Commissioners in Governor Amaechi cabinet are already talking with me about coming home to join their own party. They are just waiting to pick their last salaries and dump Amaechi and the APC sinking ship.”

This comes after the deputy governor to Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Tele Ikuru left the APC for PDPon Sunday, March 22, 2015However, the Commissioner for Information and Communications in Rivers state, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, has rubbished Obuah’s claim, stating that the commissioners were not going to defect.
She said:“We are loyal to the governor (Amaechi) and the party (APC).”
The defected deputy governor had labelled the APC a party of rebels, saying that“after carefully studying, interacting and analyzing the leadership of the party, I have come to the sad conclusion that the APC is a party of rebels, insurgents and anarchists, clothed in robes of pretense and deceit.
APC is a party founded on deception and it thrives on unholy propaganda and falsehood,” he said in a statement following his defection.”
Also, the deputy national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, has said the APC would totally crumble towards the last days of the campaignas more governors and chieftains will return to the ruling partyhttp://www.naij.com/409122-21-commissioners-to-dump-apc-for-pdp-in-rivers.html
