EmperorCaesar: Just wondering if he'd have done same to Jose or Pep cause we've seen them attack players in conference before
Jose with Luke Shaw Pep with Yaya Conte with Costa
He'd not dare...and that selectivity is why what Osimehn did is wrong What Mourinho said about Luke Shaw is even worse than what Finidi supposedly said about Osimhen. The thing is Osimhen is very rude. The way he was calling Finidi's name, cursing, swearing and threatening violence on the other person that was trying to calm him, it is was not a one off reaction cause of anger. It is more of a personality thing, he's a rude boy. Osimhen feels he is bigger than Finidi and not just that, he does not have regard for local things considering the way he was cursing and wishing death on any fan that believe what Finidi said Face of African football descending to that level to make a point. That was same way he mocked Ikpeba sometime ago |

Osimhen could have registered his displeasure without the cursing and wishing death on people. To imagine he is the current face of African football. Pathetic. Look at the way he was even mentioning his name. Osimhen cannot try that nonsense in his club or any foreign coach. The disrespect...gosh. |

Furthermore, the 20% of land with numerous minerals and industrial assets that Ukraine has lost, is lost forever. @bold That is a lie that's gradually taking a semblance of truth cause many people say it but no matter how many times, it is still not true. Onovo3: In my view, this project if actually completed will compliment Lagos, by creating another industrial hub and modern city around Warri Environs. It will help in relieving congestion and job opportunities for our people. Beside in 2014 President Jonathan in 2014, went there to commission the Gas Revolutionary and Industrial Park. Warri, Port Harcourt and Uyo are in Strategic location that makes them appealing for massive industrial project, this is supported by the abundant amount of oil and gas in their environs.
I don't think anyone has to fear that the development of these areas would mean Lagos would collapse, rather they are suppose to work in synergy with Lagos. This is why the Coastal highway initiated by President Tinubu linking these cities is a welcome development, They are not seeing it the way you are seeing it, which is from a point of right and patriotism. They see it from a point of superiority and need to protect their own they consider to be some sort of "heritage" A need to keep every other one down so the existing one can remain a beacon |

Politics › Re: Jonathan, Wife, Others Forced Wike On Rivers - Clark by ReubenE(m): 3:48pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
chrisxxx: The Jonathan never favoured Wike because he is ikwerre. They favoured him because he is an ally. Wike's job is politics. That is how they make their money. When they share the money they don't share it based on where one comes from. They share it based on your roles and contributions. Wike alone can't fight Fubara and win. He is doing this with their group which both of us do not belong. Fubara was a member of that group. He had an agreement with them. It is the agreement they are asking him to implement. Call a spade it's name. Governance today in Nigeria is a gang model. That maybe why both of us despite our intelligence have distanced them. Anything you agree with your team implement. Do not bring ethnic colouration here it won't work. Major Jack is with Wike he is Ijaw among others. They don't see themselves as representing ethnic group. They see themselves as sect members. To them their Sect interest comes before any other thing. Comot body. You are not getting the point. I don't care about Wike or Fubara. In fact if only of them can fight to death in a ring, I will glady be in support as both of them were one time members of the same cabal. While what you said about they selecting their allies is true, playing down the influence of ethnicity or other primordial interest in picking a candidate is misplaced. They picked Wike not only because he was an ally and an hothead, they did so because he was Ikwerre too to easily match Amaechi. It became an issue of two brothers fighting and not someone fighting our brother. I really don't understand why you are not seeing that detail or trying to play it down. Maybe you'll say Tinubu picked Shettima to become his running mate cause he is an ally only, even going against the known convention of Christian-Muslim representation at the top. He did so to pacify northern Muslims as picking a Christian from the north would upset the north that is considered very conservative in terms of religion. |
Politics › Re: Jonathan, Wife, Others Forced Wike On Rivers - Clark by ReubenE(m): 3:36pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
bixton: When the aged keeps lieing it tells a lot and the intention is not far fetched. The say "Ijaws" is truth but many a times whatever comes out from the mouth of the Ijaw man has always been lies upon lies. Many of us do not give in to ill gotten sentiments. Those who know what and how Wike became governor of Rivers State will not fall for such stories. It's a pity that those who are referred to as elders and states' men no longer exhibit such in righteousness given their gray(golden) hairs.
Anyone who knew what transpired between the Jonathan's/Patience's and Amaechi and what led to Wike emerging as a governorship aspirant when he made it known as at that time "There is no PDP in Rivers State". Where were the Ijaws and what was their role in the politics of the State? Amaechi, Wike, Magnus, Dakuku and a few others were the frontals of Rivers State PDP. The fallout of Amaechi with Patience's/GEJ made Amaechi and those who were loyal to him and understood the nonsense that the Ijaw pride could not settle that made them lose the Presidential election. So Wike took up the leadership of the PDP that had no one to walk the path and do the talk. If Clark is saying that Wike was forced on the Ijaws, let him say the name(s) of the Ijaws that could withstand going against Amaechi at that time. Or is he referring to those Ijaws who were waiting for handouts and silver spoon?
As far Rivers State politics is concerned there are only a few persons who can walk the talk and Magnus Abe who bas been walking on a lone rangers path have joined them and put the past behind to forge the future. He did not say Wike was forced on Ijaws. He said Wike was forced on Rivers people by an Ijaw man. You are accusing a whole ethnic group of telling lies and that shows exactly the kind of person you are. Should people tag the whole Ikwerre liars because of Wike caught lying severally. It was natural for power to shift to the riverine after Ikwerre had done 16 years uninterrupted before Wike came in. Like you said, they needed someone to match the madness (figuratively) of Amaechi in Rivers which was why they made another Ikwerre man Wike the flag bearer (making it 24 years for Ikwerre). What Clark is saying, the Ijaws of Rivers listened to that arrangement because it was an Ijaw son Jonathan that brought Wike. So what is your problem in that that you are insulting Ijaw people with so much arrogance |
Politics › Re: Jonathan, Wife, Others Forced Wike On Rivers - Clark by ReubenE(m): 3:23pm On Jun 10, 2024 |
chrisxxx: Edwin Clark wants to bring tribalism to Rivers State the same way he set up Ijaw against Itsekiri and Urhobo in Delta State. If Edwin Clark is not called to order he would set Rivers State on fire. Ijwa didn't nominate Fubara. Not only Ijaw voted for him. Come to think of it Tonye Cole won the majority of votes coming from so-called Ijaw communities. The issue we have in Rivers State is one relating to party and should be so treated. Edwin Clark should be called to order. He is not bringing tribalism anywhere. It is natural for issues to look this way since Wike is not calling himself to order. What is the lie in what elder Clark said. Ikwerre did 24 years uninterrupted, now there's an Ijaw governor after those long years and it is an Ikwerre son Wike that is hellbent in destroying him when he Wike was a beneficiary of another Ijaw man's benevolence in the person of Jonathan. No matter how we try to shy away from it, ethnic coloration will creep into it given how unrelenting Wike is. Ikwerre and Ijaw in Rivers has never had any disagreement before because they are united in pushing back oppression and annexation by their neighbors from the east. Wike is the one responsible for the degenerating crisis in Rivers that's gradually taking ethnic turn. Wike should be behaving like a statesman in Rivers just like Odili but he is running wild everywhere. Dickson, Okowa etc were governors like him and his immediate neighbors but they are living in peace. The number of commissioners and others that resigned in support of Wike show that Wike was strangulating the young government in place now |

They ganged up with Tambuwal to make him Speaker when David Mark, a Northerner was already the Senate President. It was the South-West that scuttled the North-South balance of representation in the National Assembly under Jonathan to spite him. Same way some of them spearheaded Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023 against established conventions. While religion and region really has nothing to do with capacity, it is good to inform the reading public that SOME people from the South-West only complain when it is not in their favour but they actively do same injustice to spite other regions. Tambuwal that the South-West APC gang and other PDP saboteurs supported to become Speaker against their daughter Mulikat Akande was the genesis of all the problems between Jonathan and them and among themselves in Oyo state. Like you gave your Speakership slot to a Northerner when a Northerner is already the Senate President |

nony43: Seeing the display of Gej coffin on National Tv gave Gej mom a heart attack
Obidients have not insulted or done 1/10 of what APC did as opposition, they protested with pastors and some daddy GOs , even the mumu prof insulted GEJ wife, all these were done because of GEJ and PDP and Yorubas felt that they were not represented which why they voted massively for Buhari massively because of Osibanjo, no SE and SS state held a protest against GEJ. SS still get a reserved special beef for SW on the roles they played against their son. @bold Any Yoruba man you see saying that is either a bigot or doing so for propaganda. Jonathan nominated Hon Mulikat Akande from Oyo state (a proper Yoruba woman) as Speaker of the House of Representatives. It is her own people (Yoruba) that ganged up with the North to elect Hon Tambuwal as Speaker of the House, thereby preventing the South-West from producing a speaker. South-West (Yoruba) was the reason the leadership of the National Assembly both Senate and Reps came under the control of the North under Jonathan. If somebody can play that evil politics even to their own daughter, then don't don't have the right to claim they were not represented as that was the genesis of it all. I have carefully followed government and elections since 1999 but what they South-West did to their own daughter to spite Jonathan cause of politics, it is unprecedented for me. |

I wish I can send a voice note, maybe it would be easier for you then. You are the very embodiment of all the things you accused me of. If you read to understand, you would have known I was not addressing what the government did with my comment. You responded to the other poster for declaring southern states as Christian states. In your submission you unfortunately said "the poster should be okay too when they rename indigenous villages of other people in the north to Islamic/fulani ones. That is you creating a symmetry between someone declaring Cross River a Christian state as a result of the government there replacing a traditional "STATUE" with that of Jesus in a roundabout, and a bunch of terrorists killing, burning, raping and renaming villages of other people in the North. You see that you're the problem? I'm afraid you'll still not be patient enough to read and understand the callous, unfortunate symmetry you created. There are 12 states in the north that practice sharia for over 20 years as official state policy. What does it mean to you? Why do you suddenly bring up the activities of terrorists renaming villages after killing the people because someone declared Cross River a Christian state, when there are 12 states practicing sharia as official state policy in the North? There is no symmetry and there will never be a symmetry between someone declaring a state as a Christian state cause of a religious statue and terrorists killing, burning and renaming villages that you brought up in defense.
