I am not clear on your question. Add credential for degree how? Did they ask you to upload your certificate on the site? I completed my evaluation in December and I don't really understand this question. Fill your post secondary education details you want evaluated only, they will automatically request you tell waec/neco to send your result regardless.

Someone who understands his question better can please respond.

Thanks a lot . You already answered !!!

The idea that WES is a difficult body to use because of WAEC is not true. I evaluated with WES, sent everything requested for, WAEC inclusive and my evaluation was completed exactly 2weeks after all my credentials had been verified; 6weeks in total from the date they received my documents, could have been shorter had my school verified me faster.

It is not difficult getting WAEC to send your result. Go to WAEC office at Yaba with 2passport photographs, a photocopy of your waec result, a sworn affidavit that the result is yours, one waec scratch card, 2 envelopes and 20k cash. You don't need connections there, WAEC will send your result and verify you. God's best.

I want to ask, when filling the WES application online after adding credential for Degree, do we also need to add credential for WAEC or just send WAEC to them as requested.

Thank You

Hello house.... Thanks to all contributors of this thread. The info one gets here is far more than what money can buy.
My evaluation from WES will most likely be completed on the 15th. I have a question before I enter the pool. I intend to use my one year nysc experience but the thing is nysc started in January 2017 and I resumed at my ppa in March. So I have only salary inflow of March to December when I completed the scheme. I don't want to indicate nysc as government employment as has been advised against in this thread. So how do I explain the missing two months statement. Will saying I was paid cash for those two months suffice or do I include my allowee statement of account? Thanks in anticipation.

You can tell them you were paid cash for the first two months, the important thing is the date on your nysc letter.

Okay, I understand. Mine is not a regulated profession so I should be fine. Thanks a lot boss. You guys here are the best. You make our fears about Oyinbo land disappear.

A555:

I believe these are probably never requested for, however, for some regulated professions, the professional body may request for your credentials (or credentials assessment for Canadian equivalency) as part of the registration process. For these professions, being registered can be a big part of being shortlisted for an opportunity. Again, there are exceptions.

I would say it depends on your field. Nobody has asked to see my WES or Academic degrees.

Alright. Thanks. Just wanted to be sure what to expect.

Thanks a lot boss. I really appreciate the explanation.

A555:

It depends on the specific ticket you've purchased. The ethiopian airlines semi flexible ticket charges $200 per person for changes. For most airlines, if the date you switch to has a ticket available at the price you initially paid or cheaper, you will only need to pay this $200. However, if the tickets available on your new date are more expensive, you will need to pay the difference as well. This often happens if the new flight details route you through different carriers and/or intermediary airports. It also sometimes happens if the carriers and airports don't change but if the new date is on a busier day or season for the airline, when they typically charge higher prices.

Please, is it compulsory to hold cash in USD at Point of Entry, I have a GTB dollar card.
Also what is the best way to show POF at this stage, bank statement or log into my internet banking and show the officer.
Thanks

Try to check online and see what the added cost might run up to. Time of day when you check and also the proposed new date all have an effect on how much more you might have to pay for airline bookings/rescheduling, https://www.ethiopianairlines.com/AA/EN/

It took 4 weeks before it changed to approved. 28days exact. Then took another week to get the PUM. I think they sent it out in batches.

Wow, that's pretty long. I estimated a month for the process. Will have to delay booking till Accra green light. Thanks a lot.
Best Wishes

Not yet. On the portal, my application has been approved but no PUM yet. Sent them series of mails but no response. So, just waiting.

Please what is your Accra timeline, how long since your profile changed to approved.

There's a stop at DUB for like an hour. But you don't get off the plane. Some passengers might get off or on. So technically it's not a layover per say.

Thanks so much for the explanation. Was kind of confused. I really appreciate. Waiting on Accra for pick up mail.

Please can anyone explain the Ethiopian Airline route, I am heading to Alberta and it shows ADD, DUB, YYG but in the details it only shows stops at Addis and Toronto. Do they stop at Dublin or not?

Hello Everyone,
Its so good to be here, feels like I just graduated.
I got PPR and planning to land in Alberta by December. I need advice on drivers license. I renewed my license in June and till now the card isn't ready and not likely to be available by the time I leave.
What can I do, can I request a letter or anything from FRSC?

Your questions on gift deed. I will answer them together.
1. Gift deed from family member makes it more genuine and acceptable. From someone not your family member looks dicey and the visa officer may not be convinced it is actually a gift and not borrowed.
2. I didn't attach my dad's statement of account. But if you think attaching it will help and not raise eyebrows you may attach it. But this means the account must show the giver is rich enough to gift out that sum.
3. I attached the transfer slip from the bank showing my dad's name, amount and date of transfer and the beneficiary. Its better to use a transfer document like cheque, transfer slip etc just for easy proof.

My gift deed was drafted by a lawyer but no big deal. Its a simple format.
Send a mail to foxyjoe122@yahoo.com and I can send you mine if that will put your mind at ease.

was ur POF declared as a gift deed? I read where you said you lost it all to ponzi, so i am wondering if the one you raised again was declared as a gift deed.

I had gift deed from my father. Gift deed isn't a problem just make sure it follows the required format.

1. The family information form is compulsory only if your family information has changed. You can leave it out if there has been no change.

2. You need to fill the form. I chose black as my eye colour. And please don't forget to add the PPR letter and the Height and Eye colour form to your package before sending

Thanks a lot. Na to enter DHL office tomorrow. This Xmas must be white.

I stammer very very noticeably too so I can help.

For days before the test I kept repeating to myself to be calm so it was ingrained in my subconscious to not rush my words.

On my way to work I would practice giving a speech slowly but not too slowly oh.

The day of the test I ensured that I was calm and when I started talking I made conscious efforts to take my time to speak the words fully but not too slowly so I don't come across as "slow upstairs". I still stammered two or three times but it was not so bad because I got 8 in Speaking.

Are you kidding, I got 7 in speaking with my Yoruba English fluent accent. Thanks this is indeed helpful.

Anxiously awaiting my IELTS result tomorrow, success to all who are waiting like me to share their testimonies.

Wish you the best bro, give the exam your best and try not to panic during the exam. It causes loss of concentration. It will end in praise

Guys abeg
I have a friend who wants to start this PR journey but he stammers. How can he go about IELTS speaking test?
Any advice please, will the examiners understand.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by revlane: 3:50pm On Oct 26, 2017
My PPR story.
I am not a fan of travelling so I invested in professional and academic qualifications with an MBA, MSc and chartered qualification, I couldn't achieve my goals. So from the the days of Zandora and Dupsyshoo, I joined to read and just read updates for several months. I wrote IELTS with contribution money and requested for remark when my writing was scored 6.5 and later it was upgraded to 7.5
My WES was smooth with help from a friend who paid part of it. I started this journey as a trial and ran to Australia nairaland because of POF. I came back when the process wasn't favourable.
It became more real with ITA on March 1 but the worse happened. I lost all the money I raised for POF to Ponzi Schemes between February and April. From GHW to MMM, all my life savings was gone. And to make maters worse, I lost my job too.
Life became meaningless and I was in debt so I relocated back to stay with my parents and they have been feeding me.
From giving people money, I could no longer afford recharge card and I scampered around for POF. I submitted my application 6days to deadline.
I was stuck later because my POF showed review required in my GCMS. Its was written in capital letters that THE PA HAS FALLEN BELOW REQUIRED POF OF 12,300. And my case was left to pure discretion of the Visa officer and the hand of God.
Today its PPR because I never gave up, I knew my downfall wasn't the end of my life and that someday I will smile again.
Nothing can stop you except you chose to stop.
