Buhari for President. Jonathan for PE Teacher. Problem solved.

BERNIMOORE:I thought PDP and Fayose said they will definitely win the election why does he keep going on about saving Nigeria from another Yar' Adua situation. Is he no longer confident of victory at the polls? Fayose should please tell us which cancer gets treated in 10 days. Also, if Fayose has ever been to London he will know that London is not a place to come for secret treatment. The press. fellow patients or even the medical staff will expose the story. That was why Yar'Adua chose to be treated in Saudi Arabia, where he could keep everything secret. Lai lai, you can't keep that kind secret in London |
Ok. In that case, Jonathan will become the Otueke sports coach and Buhari will become the President. Problem solved. |
“Without security, there is no government. So it is not debatable, it is something we have to addressed and we are working towards that with vigour. But if I’m voted into power within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot do anything even if I am there for the next four years.” President Goodluck Jonathan, 31st January 2011. |

canalily:OK. In that case Jonathan will replace Stephen Keshi and Buhari will replace Jonathan in Aso Rock. Problem solved. |
OREMUSSANCTUS:Tell that to South Africans who voted Mandela in at the age of 76 years. And, unlike Buhari who has been a free man and part of society for most of his life, Mandela had been incarcerated for 27 years and so had been cut off from many modern technological, economical and social advances. |
I just found the news below. As I said at the start of this thread, President Deby seems to have deliberately omitted Nigeria from the list of nations fighting Boko Haram and below are his reasons. Jonathan is going to coming out of this with egg on his face especially if Chad capture Shekau and/or rescues the Chibok girls. I Unilaterally Called The War On Boko Haram, Not Jonathan, Chad’s Idriss Deby Says Chadian president Idriss Deby has claimed that Chad unilaterally decided upon the much celebrated committed war against Boko Haram this January, the resolute action not being the decision of Nigeria’s Jonathan and with the Nigerian president even stalling the process at every turn. Nigeria’s Goodluck Jonathan had claimed that after five years of tolerating the sect that killed thousands, he finally this January embarked on the serious effort to defeat Boko Haram to make him more electable and to allow voting in occupied territory; however the Chadians have said that this real war against the terrorists was decided upon unilaterally by Deby in reaction to Boko Haram obstructing Chad’s trade routes with Nigeria and the economy of the landlocked nation. Quoting from Reuters’ report: Officials from Chad, Niger and Cameroon say lack of cooperation from Nigeria has for months hampered efforts to put together a regional taskforce against Boko Haram. Chad was compelled to take unilateral action in January, under a deal that allows it to pursue terrorists into Nigeria, after Boko Haram violence started to choke off imports to its economy. But for a country proud to be a major African power, it would be an embarrassment to President Goodluck Jonathan as he seeks reelection for a smaller nation to tackle Nigeria’s security problems, diplomats say. Chad has been ready to press deep into territory controlled by the Islamist group but Nigeria refused to let them. We turned back because Nigeria did not authorise us to go any further,” army spokesman Colonel Azem Bermandoa said. But the Chadians say there have been no joint operations between the two forces. Nigeria has for months hampered efforts to put together a regional taskforce against Boko Haram. End quote Nigeria’s military spokesperson, General Chris Olukolade Wednesday denied the Chadian claims of Nigeria stalling Chadian aggression against the terrorists, stating that the Nigerian side has no qualms with the Chadians but leads the mission to liberate the nation. The revelations from Chad appear to be fueling distrust, suspicion and tensions between Nigeria and its neighbors and discredits the leader of Africa’s most populous nation and a nation that was prior credited as having one of the best armies in Africa. President Jonathan is yet to react to Chad’s claims of the small country having been unilaterally behind the the drive to liberate Nigeria from the grasp of Boko Haram. After Chad engaged Boko Haram in Dikwa, Nigeria chased Chad out with the excuse that the Nigerian side planned to drop bombs on Boko Haram in Dikwa. Chad later claimed Boko Haram leader, “Abubakar Shekau” escaped at Dikwa with the Nigerian intervention, and Chad’s president personally warned Shekau that the Chadians knew where he went to and will soon get him. It will be interesting whether Chad will agree to handover Shekau to Nigeria if they capture him or if they will insist on trying him in Chad or at the ICC. That could be another embarrassment for Jonathan and Nigeria. This whole Boko Haram episode has eroded the fear and respect our neighbours had for Nigeria. |
pendy79:Exactly. No one ever resigns for failure under GEJ. Anywhere else in the world these guys would have been called to account for these embarrassing and costly errors. |
It is embarrassing enough that we are relying on chad, Niger and Cameroon to defeat Boko Haram on Nigerian soil but now we hear the Chadian President say he knows where Shekau is in Nigeria. Why does the President of Chad know where Shekau is and the President of Nigeria doesn't, or at least he didn't until Pres. Deby revealed Shekau was in Dikwa? At this rate Shekau will be captured or killed by the Chadian army rather than the Nigeria army. President Idriss Deby also said “We are going to win the war and we are going to wipe out Boko Haram, contrary to what certain media think. The Chadian and Niger forces will continue their mission to finally put an end to this shadowy group,” Notice, he only mentioned the Chadian and Niger forces and failed to mention Nigeria forces on whose soil the war is being fought. Is this a veiled criticism of Nigeria's contribution to war against Boko Haram? PEJ: I would rather die than commit suicide. |
If fani-Kayode is not brain dead let him explain how he is now working for Jonathan after saying the following: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zzYbtGCyn4 |
Buhari has already answered this question several times. Here is the last answer his campaign gave on Sunday in their daily media updates: Myth: Did Buhari promise to make Nigeria ungovernable? No, he didn't. In 2010, as reported by various sections of the media, Lawal Keita, a PDP chieftain stated that if a person from the North did not win the 2011 elections, Nigeria will be made ungovernable. Below are links to that effect as reported by the press when that statement was made. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2010/10/08/group-wants-kaita-tried-for-treason/ In April 2011, Reuben Abati slandered GMB in The Guardian about the same statements of making Nigeria ungovernable. GMB sued Abati to court in 2011 for damaging his name. President Jonathan begged GMB on behalf of Abati to settle out of court because Abati might end up in jail. On 11 July 2013 Rueben Abati and The Guardian published an unreserved apology to Buhari. http://newsrescue.com/rueben-abati-retracts-libelous-invention-linking-buhari-terror-compensates-general-damages/ |
What a disgrace. In the developed world the President would be forced to apologise or resign and the first lady would be questioned by the police, if not arrested. Nigeria's greatest problem is impunity. There is no consequence for illegality and immorality. The moment Nigeria starts consistently prosecuting people, irrespective of their status, for breaking the law, corruption and other ills of the society will be a thing of the past. |
selectedhero:Pot calling kettle black. In that case you should return to primary school to repeat your english classes and learn the difference between taught and thought. |
Caution, ensure you read FFK's words in context of who he is and what he said recently. Which FFk is speaking, is it a new reformed and sanitized FFK or this one?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zzYbtGCyn4 |
ahaika23:I understand. That was due to the 6 week postponement. Everybody done tire to de campaign and read about politics for another 6 weeks. It will pick up again one or two weeks before the elections. Watch. |
ahaika23:Lol. I love this thread. You started a new topic to prove the number of APC likes have dropped and you ended up disproving your own theory or observation . So far, 33 people have liked your comments and 67 have liked the pro-APC comment by Size 38. Therefore, if the number of likes is indicative of the election results then the results will be as follows:Jonathan - 33% Buhari - 67% That would be a thrashing for an incumbent President and a landslide for Buhari |
Lol. |
Lol. Which Fani-Kayode said this? The one who said Nigeria will become a failed state if Jonathan wins the election? Madness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zzYbtGCyn4 |
Nigeria's war with Boko Haram is the first war in recent times that hasn't been covered by international media. Armies fighting wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc embed CNN, BBC and other journalist with their troops and this journalist produce video evidence of what is really happening. Why is it different in Nigeria? What has the government and army got to hide? |
I have never seen a more nervous, desperate and confused ruling party ever before. Even if it is true that Tinubu is planning to take over what has it got to do with PDP? PDP say they are confident that they will win and Buhari will never be President so why does it matter what Tinubu is up to? |
GEJ's showed a lack of interest in defeating Boko Haram or visiting the North East but suddenly when it seemed like he might lose the elections, because Nigerians were calling for change and decided to vote for APC, he swung into action by arming the military and visiting the troops in the North East. He even offered the soldiers promotion to motivate them. If GEJ had done these things last year perhaps Boko Haram would have been destroyed by now and many of the 15,000 deaths would have been prevented. What do you think about the sudden turnaround in GEJ's body language and attitude towards the war and will you decide to vote for him because of the recent successes against Boko Haram? |
GEJ in military uniform buy we all no say de man nor get liver. Military uniform is for the courageous |
Sponsored protest should be made illegal. This is embarrassing. |
He is taking questions now |
Baawaa:He is on now and has been speaking for over 20 minutes |
