grin grin grin But seriously I liked their business model especially being that they were the first to start live trade. Add that to a very low rate of commission, they had something very good going. But at the end of the day, good customer service and sound fiscal discipline is what sustains a business not good ideas...I hope they adjust early enough though something tells me they may increase their commission soon
While registering with Meristem I tried to bargain the commission structure, I asked the lady who attended to me- Since you claim that your company is the best stockbroker in Nigeria, why is MorganC commission far cheaper than yours?
Her reply(in Igbo) really convinced me to settle with them;
''E bere ego; E bere akpa''
Meaning- When buying anything bagged, ''If the price is reduced, the bag is also reduced''.
I agree with you that MorganC might adjust their commission structure for proper management.

My FBNH Solace
A pretty friend I met here on NSEMPA, just brought me FBN solace today.
She's an insider in one of Nigeria's leading cement company(name withheld cos she pleaded anonymous).
Last week she urged me to buy many trailers of cement I could, cos It's likely that cement price will increase this week.
I sought for cash nook and cranny and was able to raise money for 15traillers(23660000mil- 1100 @1434, per truck ).

Just as the prophetess forecast, we have sold 10trucks @22100000(2210000/truck- 2010 per bag ).

I just can't conceal my joy; Its the lord doing!!!!

Liar Muhammad have passed his Lying antics to this fellow.

=> No foreign country on its right and sincere sense will applaud Buharia's Administration Economic strategies(unless his allies like Palestine, Iraq Iran......etc).

=>In fact no Civilized citizens will tolerate this kind of Government.

It'd have been laudable, if he created palliatives and alternatives before placing ban on all the commodities.
He just made those who voted him to fall into the hand of Wailers.

PoliticsBuhari Will Be One Of Nigeria’s Best President – Presidency by Rexceedo(op): 6:53am On Aug 15, 2016
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu

Olalekan Adetayo, Abuja

The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Sunday said President would be one of Nigeria’s best presidents even as he described the last couple of weeks as those the president witnessed the heaviest public criticism since he assumed office on May 29, 2015.

Shehu said much of the criticism which he (Shehu) described as unfair had been on account of the unresolved social and economic problems facing the country.

Shehu said this in an opinion article he made available to journalists.

He said,

“The currency liberalisation and the deregulation of the petroleum products sale will make President Buhari one of the best presidents till date. The removal of subsidies on the petrol products has saved the government more than N2tn annual expenditure in this respect".

“President Buhari’s foreign trips have brought many things to the country. He has energised our foreign policy. Beyond the enormous goodwill reaped from “resetting” age-old but damaged relations with neighbours and distant partners and friends, the President has attracted foreign development assistance and direct investments.

It is generally accepted that good foreign relations bring foreign direct investment. So much is currently being done one year into the administration. This is in spite of the world economy being sluggish and recession-stricken.”

He said the criticism, especially on the increase in prices of foodstuff, needed to be challenged before it overshadowed the President’s achievement in the anti-terrorism and anti-corruption wars.

Shehu said contrary to what obtained in the local media, Buhari got lavish praise abroad for his efforts at repositioning the country.

He said the Boko Haram leader, Shekau, or the pipeline vandal from the Niger Delta region was more likely to get newspaper front pages today than the Minister of Labour, Senator Chris Ngige, or the Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, talking about jobs creation or the economy.

He said,

“I don’t say that media criticism is not reflective of the feeling of the citizens. President Buhari has himself on numerous occasions admitted that the change mantra has brought with it pain and suffering which he likened to the pains of labour. It is a passing phase.

“When they ask the question, is this the change we voted for, the critic forgets how far we have come from the scam-tainted years of the PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) rule. How many people have given a thought to the possibility of Nigeria doing something that the combined strength of Europe and America have failed to do?

“There are many today who take for granted the declared victory over the Boko Haram terrorists, forgetting the reign of the bomber who made it almost impossible for regular attendance in churches and mosques in many of our cities, including the Federal Capital City, Abuja.

“Victory over Boko Haram has brought peace not only to Nigeria but to the countries in the Lake Chad region.
“The world leaders are still at work trying to contain the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, ISIS, which threat sadly continues to become more potent.

“Everyone living in Nigeria knows that there is a major movement against corruption as part of the ongoing change. This war has forced the return to the treasury of billions of Naira and millions of Dollars stolen by past officials.”

"Your financial worries diminishes as you accumulates savings"

On seeing this heading, some folks will be like;

"What do I have to do with this- my salary is yet to cover up my spendings let alone thinking about savings"

"It ain't meant for the Low Class like me"

Bro chill, I'll show why you must have a savings plan, irrespective of what you earn. This had been keeping many people in privation and made some chronic debtors.

We will see why even the paltry amount of your salary, wages or business profit is important and can make you financial Secured. Start from somewhere, notwithstanding how little in might be- keep it aside.

It Makes You Independent; Be you an employee, a Labourer or a business man/woman just relate with this illustration.

As an employee, if you find yourself uncomfortable and apathetic with your job. Say it, your boss demoted you, thus violated your employee Right just because you demand an increase of salary. If you have something aside you won't vacillate on which course to follow.
The wellness of your family together with yourself will be guarantee till you find another good job.

Will you take such decision, if you don't have something stashed somewhere(rhetorical)?

It Gives And Restore Peace Of Mind;
You'llbetter concur with me, if you have ever find yourself in situations whereby, your three kids walk up to you to remind you that their Mistress admonished them that they should not come to school if they didn't pay their fees before Monday. And you have just finished scanning through the Ultra Sound report of your pregnant wife, which cites that she'll go into Labor any now.

Alas!

The sum of these two mandatory tasks is more than three-quarter of your salary, wage or earnings.
Which other options are you left with than to lay awake by 1:00am on your bed pondering about a solution- If you have nothing stashed somewhere.

Imagine how unperturb you be if youhave something kept aside.

It masters Misfortune;
Please don't see me as a pessimist, am just trying to digress how important savings are to any circumstances.

If to say, you eventual got sick and wasn't able to go to work and your employer do pay-as-you-work.

What'll be you fate?

What will you do if it persist for say a month?

You can imagine how much your credit card will grow. Even the fear alone of the intensity of your accumulated hospital bill will even exacerbate your state because you ain't secured(no savings).

Parting,

Save as little as you can from what you earn. Start somewhere; Start today don't wait till tomorrow.

By so doing, your little savings may bethe Little Hen that lays the Golden Eggs in difficulties.

When she was 12 years old, Ashley Smith Lane remembers putting on her father’s white coat and walking around his Alabama clinic as though she were a doctor.
Now, at the age of 28 and in her second year of residency, she’s no longer pretending
"Growing up as a doctor’s child, you see the best part of it, and you see the time constraints,” Lane says. “I grew up going to house calls with my dad, going to the ER [emergency room] when he had to admit a patient. It’s definitely a lifestyle that you have to choose."
Lane is the third generation of physicians in her family, following in the footsteps of both her father and grandfather. Through the years, they have witnessed the transformation of healthcare firsthand, along with the advent of new technology and changes in private practice.
Her grandfather, George Smith Sr., MD, began his career as a pharmaceutical representative, where he says he gradually found his calling to pursue medicine. He began practicing on July 1, 1966, a day that dramatically changed healthcare when Medicare became available.
His son, George Smith Jr., MD, says he respected his father’s job from an early age.
“I used to carry [my father’s] bag on house calls when I was a little boy,” he says. “A lot of patients.......http://www.eaglelike.com/2016/08/when-practicing-medicine-runs-in-family.html
PoliticsBoko Haram: Abubakar Shekau Reappears Again- SR by Rexceedo(op): 6:45am On Aug 04, 2016
The erstwhile leader of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awatiwal-Jihad popularly known as Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has released a recorded message a few hours after the news of his successor was made public by ISIS via its magazine.
The Islamic State militant group on Wednesday announced Abu Musab al-Barnawi as its West African affiliate ‘Boko Haram’s new leader.
Shekau in the 10-minute 23-second audio message in Arabic and Hausa which SaharaReporters monitored in New York said he was deceived, but he will never stray from the ideology of the Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad which he said had a basis in the Quran.
Shekau in the recorded message said nothing would deter the sect from pursuing it's cause even if they are called ‘kwawarij’ meaning those that opposed arbitration as a means to chose a new leader.
The new Shekau message coming after one year of silence has clearly confirmed the ideological differences and friction in Boko Haram hierarchy and failure to resolve their differences which might have led to the IS declaring Abu Musab al-Banawi as the new leader of the deadly sect.
Authoritative sources have also confirmed that Shekau has been against IS advisors sent to train his fighters, he is also accused of hoarding food, ammunition and recklessly killing Muslims, allegation denied by Shekau in his taped message.
Shekau is said to be high-handed, killing off his fighters under the slightest excuses without recourse to in-depth findings of their misdemeanors, to completely derailthese his adversaries to derail completelyfrom the ideology of the sect as prescribed by the principles of Jihad.
The idealogical uprising in the sect in another premise is said to hinge on attacks targeted at Internally Displaced Persons, Mosques and other places of worship some Boko Haram fighters considered impure.
Abu Musab al-Barnawi, the purported new leader according to a famous journalist, Ahmed Halkida who has been following book Haram since its emergence said al-Bernawi is the son of late Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of Boko Haram who was extra-judicially murdered by the Nigerian police in 2009.
As at the time of this report, there is high indication that al-Banarwi will equally reply Shekau with his version of events.
Book Haram continues to hold several high school students kidnapped from Chibok hostage at an unknown destination.
Below is excerpts of Shekau’s words in Hausa:
“All blessings be to Almighty Allah, and his His Prophet SAW. I am Imam Abubakar Shekau
“This is the message to the world, to those who can understand Hausa and any other languages it can be translated for a clear understanding of the message, which is why we are sending this message to the world.
“The content of my message goes thus. We have heard news going round and attributed to people we had earlier pledge allegiance to. Even though we are not against them base on the message we heard in the world radio but we are stillonour ideology.
“We know those we differ with, and I have written on this long ago. All we wrote have been documented with me, some eight pages and some nine pages stating their kind of ideology.
“Because I stated it clear that I am against the principle where someone will dwell in the society with the infidels without making public his opposition or anger against infidels publicly as it is stated in the Quran. Anyone doing such can't be a real Muslim thick and thin. This is what our ideology proved. And that is where I am, to them, a Muslim can dwell in the society and do his marketing compromising core foundations.

“I want the world to know that we are still holding our ideology and tied with the Quran, we will not derail and will not revolt but will continue to remain in the cause of Allah. Following Prophet SAW is compulsory for us, and we will follow it to the end.
“This is our stand, and we are still in the cause of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad and Allah will help us. May Allah strengthen us to remain in this cause.
“We are still members of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad, no matter what they call us, we remain what we are. No matter what we have our basis in Quran. No matter what they call us, what we aspire is to justify our ideology in the Quran which is ultimate because we have not derailed. We are on and in the future, we will not accept any emissary except the one we can attest he is sincere and truthful for Allah and His cause.
“In the first place, we sat and I was deceived, they said I should write my ideology to be taken if there is a mistake they will point out and bring back. They now deceive me, and it is base on some authorities and today I found out that there is one who is following principles of infidel which they want me to follow, and Prophet has stopped us against such.
