paulolee: jus too baad..i cant believe this is happening, messi should jus be patient and stay one more season to see if this koeman new game plan would suit him, i think he should give barca the last dance and if barca new project fails he can walk to any club for free as a free agent.. i would be pained to see him leave and camp nou fans would surely miss him bcoz this wasn't messi's plan earlier bt things change and i hope the fans understand.. if he decides to leave i hope he ends up in man.city n dt would be my oda team, cnt wait to see how the magical messi would silence those lousy epl media and fans dt do say he cnt perform such wonders in EPL because la liga is easy.. and also i pity barca when city with messi meets barca in ucl... definitely UEFA will do everything to pair the two clubs to play against if he leaves for city or anywhere else. |

kikero: Above is why we won't see change in Nigeria
Everybody knows that the current situation needs changing, but everyone is divided as to how the change should come
And thus, the status quo continues.
Plus, this guy is defending Jonathan. GEJ's government was just exactly like Buhari's government...corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, with mass insecurity. Which instead of handling they were blaming on the 'North'
Same way BMO is now blaming Sowore for 'instability today' (Yesterday, they were blaming 'certain people').
The guy I am quoting is just like the grills guy, all they want is their favoured guy in power. When their favored guy is not there...they complain about bad governance.
APC and PDP are the same. Nigerians they care not for. barrrr man please give this guy two crate of beer , two plates of catfish pepper soup and two clean olosho for ginger his body for me. bro your comment too make sense so please manage the above for me . |

Ope4Christ: Your unused visa has been cancelled. You need to apply for fresh one if you still want to come but the situation of things in UAE for Nigerians are terrible for now. Only very few with job are lucky. No job, no visa change; how do you want to survive? Don't let your agent deceive you into coming to UAE for now. Thousands of Nigerians are already in limbo on what to do. Some are already back in Nigeria while others are most likely going to run into OVERSTAYED VISA with extremely high fines calculated on daily basis.
It is better for you to chanel your resources to Europe or Canada. It takes time, energy, patience and money but with right information you can achieve it.
My one piece of advice. thanks bro for the response |

Family › Re: Most Fathers Today Are Losing Relevance In The Family by Rexnegro(m): 4:31am On Jul 21, 2020 |
xynerise: Yes, I said so.
If you are of the school of thought that providing for the family along automatically makes you a caring father, then you are among those that risk being irrelevant to your children.
If you look at most families today, the children hardly mention their fathers when making a reference to something inspiring. I mean quoting what your father once taught you or something positive you learnt while growing up. I am referring to fathers of our time.
Today, everything is about making money and paying the bills. That is not enough. How close are you to your children? It is always the mother that attends to issues that trouble the children today. Even though fathers source for solutions at the end but the children will always remember the person that discovered the problems, or at least care to know what the problem is.
How often do we call our kids, sit them down and ask them about the kind of challenges they face in life?
Some fathers hardly call their children (far from home) on phone except the mother does and maybe pass the phone to him. This has made some people to call mostly their mothers on phone and explain situations to her rather than the father who provides the money to solve the situations.
You can see that despite most fathers provide the money, yet the mothers get most of the appreciation.
My point is, we shouldn't be too focus on just making the money. Let us remember we are also making a family too. quoting this for a reason , thanks op for sharing the obvious fact about nowadays fathers. thank you |

madridsta007: Oga that is not how it works. When it comes to political appointments, no Governor uses LinkedIn or Naijahotjobs. They dont have HR offices. It is first based on "relationships". Anything else is secondary. Go and ask someone who is close to State governments in Nigeria. u are just busy dodging the damn question... I rest then |

madridsta007: If you know how political appointments are made you should know it is through connection- personal relationship or a relationship through someone that is close to the Governor and you are recommended. You think it is through searching on LinkedIn ? Do Governors' offices have HR offices? You guys dont really know how things work politically. are you now saying the governor don't have the power to appoint someone he doesn't know in person from afar and not from his state with more than qualified credentials ? |
