No need to bail them out. Let AMCON buy the states like banks in crisis and settle all the debts. Then other viable states can buy over the states from AMCON |

As much as I will like to free the first Lady.... The watch will continue to make us question the poor image Buhari fed us. Personally, I knew it was just like the "I had no shoes well played" . We Nigerians are often too emotional and once a politician appeals to our emotions we throw caution to the wind and become a follower. No ex leader of Nigeria can ever be poor after they leave office even if they continue to dash people money. Aside the mega allowances they get while in power, they get much more when they leave power... Did I say leave power, I meant when they vacate the office as they never leave the corridors of power. The handlers of Buhari's campaign did a very good job. You need to always identify with the the masses, wonder why all these music artists cum celebrity always come up with touching stories like.... I used to hawk gala and ice water, I was a conductor, I almost committed suicide...just like our comedians will also say we poor die when I was young but una dey stay for Lagos. The real poor folks still dey village now |

17% TB na lie from the pit of hell... Date of Auction 5/6/2015| 5/6/2015| 5/6/2015 | 4/22/2015 Tenor 91 | 182 | 364 | 91 Maturing On 8/6/2015 |11/5/2015| 5/5/2016 | 7/23/2015 Successful Bid Rates 9.2500 - 10.0900 |10.0000 - 12.8900 | 10.0000 - 13.3990 | 9.2000 - 10.0900 Source: http://www.cenbank.org/rates/govtsecurities.asp For those asking how to invest in TBills; 1. You need to approach your bank before the next auction. Complete the NTB application form (any amount, but I will say minimum of N10,000). You will need to provide the tenor you will like to buy (91days , 182 days etc). Ensure your account is duly funded 2. The bank will compile all the application and come up with a bid rate range. Except you are an institutional investor, you can't quote your rate, you will have to accept the successful bid rate of the bank based on the outcome of the auction. 3. It's a discounted instrument so, the discounted amount is debited from your account. Hence, the difference between the amount your invested (i.e fair value that will mature) and the amount debited from your account is the investment income. * Discounted instrument means you will receive your interest upfront and not at maturity like fixed deposit. channelz: zyphr: kelechiodo: |

I was scanning to see the part where they gave her cash reward. Couldn't find it ![]() [s]Also contributing, Rotimi Olowo, another lawmaker, added that the state government should honour her by naming any state institution or monument after her to drive home the need for honesty and integrity among the youths in the country.[/s] I have a suggestion.....LASU should be named Josephine Ugwu State University (JUSU). ![]() if not .....

My humble submission. QE sounds fantastic on paper....It's a good textbook solution for an "IDEAL" economy. Last time I checked, Nigeria is not close to that. Nigerians don't obey the laws of demand and supply and other economic principles. One of the reasons, why Minister of Finance continues to look incompetent even after her numerous commendable policies at world bank. from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantitative_easing Japan before 2007[edit] A policy termed 'quantitative easing' was first used by the Bank of Japan (BOJ) to fight domestic deflation in the early 2000s.[15][35][36][37] According to the Bank of Japan, the central bank adopted quantitative easing (量的金融緩和, ryōteki kin'yū kanwa) on 19 March 2001.[38][39] The Bank of Japan had for many years, and as late as February 2001, claimed that "quantitative easing ... is not effective" and rejected its use for monetary policy.[40] The BOJ had maintained short-term interest rates at close to zero since 1999. Under quantitative easing, the BOJ flooded commercial banks with excess liquidity to promote private lending, leaving them with large stocks of excess reserves and therefore little risk of a liquidity shortage.[41] The BOJ accomplished this by buying more government bonds than would be required to set the interest rate to zero. It later also bought asset-backed securities and equities and extended the terms of its commercial paper–purchasing operation.[42] The BOJ increased the commercial bank current account balance from ¥5 trillion to ¥35 trillion (approximately US$300 billion) over a four-year period starting in March 2001. The BOJ also tripled the quantity of long-term Japan government bonds it could purchase on a monthly basis.[citation needed] If we do the broaden, who do you think will access the funds made available by CBN? Your guess is as good as mine. |
