Its a measure of difference in value between imported and exported goods, services, income flows, and unilateral transfers during the reported month. It's directly linked to currency demand - a rising surplus indicates that foreigners are buying more of the domestic currency to execute transactions in the country. The previous value was 0.79T while the forecast is 0.62T. If the actual figure goes higher than the forecast of 0.62T, then its good for the currency and we can place a bet of fall for all these pairs; USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY. If otherwise, we place a bet of rise but i strongly b'liv its a fall. The reaction time is 12.55am(if placed at 1am, BOM might shut us out cos of the strong trending) and the duration should between 50mins and 1hour. Anybody with more insights should please add to this.

Ayo, thanks a lot. Will still be asking more questions. It was just that I got kinda confused last week when I read that US index improved and yet another news said stock market was down. So I can understand it this way: that INDEX is a tool for measuring the economic direction of a country. It does not give me the individual picture of what is happening to its constituents. So index improving might actually be as a result of 2 out of say the 30 coys that make it up. Hope my reasoning is correct. I will need to look at the companies individually for a better pix if l require. So index could be up, while the stock market will be down right? Thank you for taking the pains to answer me.

Easy, thanks a lot. Been trying to work with the ADX with alerts, the one that comes with dot on a candle which you said to target the next candle after the DOT. Seems the dots come after the candle had already started forming and not before. It would have made sense if it comes BEFORE, so one can properly position for the next candle. You sure are doing a good job.

Will like to ask some questions here. I will really appreciate the explanations and I am sure it will help in our fundamental analysis of the market.

1) When you say a country's index is high, does it automatically means that its stock is low?
2) What exactly make up the index of each country and is there a platform to take the average. Eg if there are 5 main things that make up a country's index but while 2 are down, 3 are up. Is there a kind of platform that helps measure that so the average can be taken to come to a conclusion as to where the index will go from there, whether north or south?
3) What is the relationship between the current position of a country's index, its stock and the currency pairs on FOREX. That is how are they related and affected with news?
4) The US market seems to be a VERY big factor that affects other markets. Do I take it that when it is up, others are up and vice versa?
5) What can one expect to happen after the election on the 17th if one or the other wins?

I am sure the questions plenty, but I also know that the answers will help us on the fundamental analysis. So guys, hit me.

I understand how the candle indicator works all right and have downloaded it as well as the the others following the steps advised. The challenge is that I do not see the lines which indicates the market high or low on the chart. I am only seeing the time indicator at the top left of the chart that shows the remaining time for the candle formation to finish. And without those lines, then I cannot use it. Am I still doing something wrong? Have even tried changing the color from black to red and thickening the line but still cannot see it on my chart. So what is wrong with mine?

Is it just me 'cos I still cannot download/install the candle indicator thingy. Its telling me that 'windows cannot open this file'. Do I need a particular program to open it? If yes, then which one?

Indulge me further let me tell you why I will not speak MOGs. After Gideon was instructed by the Angel, he went at night and destroyed the temple of Baal. The bible tells us how. Let your light so shine... Remember Moses, Miriam and Aaron. The day they challenged Moses' authority, Miriam was struck with leprosy. Aaron was spared only 'cos he was the priest (Number 12). They were probably justified in their behavior but it was not important to God. Read Numbers 16 too where certain people were swallowed up by the ground for opposing Moses, and these were LEVITIES too, the choosen priestal tribe. There were several of such. Lets talk about Saul. he was anointed as King, Spirit filled. When he disobeyed, the Spirit of God left him. David had several opportunities to kill him, justifiably, but he said, "I will not lift my hand against the Lord's anointed" 1 Samuel 24, 26. Wise man. Maybe some MOGs were sent by God but have derailed. Personally, I will not lift my hand, tongue etc against them. Safer not to talk about any MOG 'cos do I know who was or wasn't anointed. If they fall or stand, He will deal with them accordingly. Satan is cleverly keeping "Christians" busy with stories such as yours, while souls are perishing. Channel this passion to the spread of God's Gospel, let these young believers know and follow the practice of knowing the Word for themselves. Only then are they truly protected against false prophets. Pray for them that are being deceived, that they will come to the knowledge of the Word of God. Although whoever claims to be deceived will not be excused 'cos God has given us the Holy Spirit and the Bible. You have no excuse. My two mentors, Dr Myles Munroe and Dr Fred K. C. Price are awesome. But I will not take anything from them that is not in the Word of God. Never. And even if tomorrow I perceive that they have lost their way, I will continually pray for them. The MOGs that are generally watered down here do not even know you exist. They are busy ensuring that their voices heard worldwide. Do the same thing armed with the Truth. Let your own voice be heard. Talking down on them is not the answer. Let your Light so shine that men will see.

I generally do not get myself involved in this kind of talks but indulge me for a while. I did not go through everything you wrote, its not important. But I assume you are a believer so I will talk to you as such. We Christians get to the fore front of championing the castigation of people who call themselves or are called MOG as if we are doing God a favor. I am sure that "Touch not my prophet..." is already overused so I will not use it. Jesus told us to go into the world and PREACH the gospel of the Kingdom of God. What are you doing? When someone who doesn't call himself a christian talk the way you do, I am not chilled to my bones 'cos the bible said that the gospel we preach is foolishness to them that are perishing. But when a someone who calls himself one leaves the mandate HIS Master have given him to get involved with another thing, it is down right frightening and worrisome. If you know the Truth, PREACH IT. Leave the MOGs to their own thing. It is to their Master they either stand or fall and you are not their master. How involved and active are you in the spread of the Gospel? How many souls did you win this past week? How many people did you tell about the Gospel of the Kingdom of God? How many souls have you discipled this year? Because, if you do these thing, you do not need to warn them off certain MOGs, they will know the Truth when they hear it, and will keep away from lie peddlers. Let your voice be heard over the lies as you preach the truth. And what is the Truth? Or better still, WHO is the Truth? Jesus Christ. Personally, there are churches I will never go to, there are preachers I will never listen to, but where there is darkness, my aim is to so shine my light and swallow the darkness, not add more darkness to it. Consider a bucketful of dirty water. If you take it to a clean tap, open the tap and without turning out the water, allow the water from the tap into it, what will happen? In some minutes, the dirty water will be clean water ie the same water running from the tap. DO THE WORD. PREACH THE WORD. Let the MOGs do their own too.

Daddyolu: Pls be advised that Uk and euro indices are very fast moving markets, especially in the first hour of trade, that is 8.00am Nigerian time. I've studied these markets over the years, and I've come to realize the following:
1. They move in the same direction, with the Dax being the quickest.
2. They change direction together at specific times throughout the day or well er until the Dow comes in at 2.30pm and scatter the whole thing.
They move in one direction from 8am - 8.10am.
At + or - 8.10, they change direction and move until 8.30am
At + or - 8.30, they change direction again and move on until 9.00am.
Now this is where the fun begins in that whichever direction they choose to go at just +9.00am, you can follow the procession until 1.30pm where they tend to react to breaking news from the states heralding the arrival of Dow at 2.30pm(scatter, scatter begins).
They are very good for intraday spread betting

Pappy, Pls explain something to me. I am looking at the Wall Street site and some of the news headlines caught my attention. They are, "Europe Stock Lose Momentum", "Euro Slips After China Stimulus Comments", "Switzerland Makes Plans for the End of the Euro" ; and yet I saw this too, "Europe Markets: Europe stocks move higher on resources; Spain off" and "GLOBAL MARKETS: Stocks, Euro, Commodities Pare Gains; US Data Eyed". With the first 3 headlines, I'd have said Euro should be expected to be weakening, but the last 2 got me confused. Could you pls explain how one is supposed to correctly interprete and use all these news. Thanks.

@Pappy, let me start by saying that you are doing a great job here. I appreciate. Could you please explain the embolded part, ie what do you mean by pricing a market on BOM? How come when it 80% to 20%, then I should be assured 20% is a winner? I use SIGTrader to look at the activities in the market, where on BOM do I also get the market trend? Is it different from the SIGTrader? You talked about confirming the future of the market, and with the example you gave, how do you trade and bet with that info? Will it not go beyond a day? You also mentioned "Level 2 platform" in a previous post, what does it mean? Does one need to download it, if yes, which website? I will stop here for now.
