Please stay far away from the agent. it's a scam, an agent can not get you a work visa to come to Germany. Try and get a job by yourself, if you are working in the Tech, you can go online and search for jobs on (e.g. Stepstone, xing) or use your google search engine and you will find a lot of openings. Also, only a professional jobs can get you a work visa to Germany from Nigeria and after working for few years, you can qualify for Blue card.

But I see no reason for booking an/multiple appointment you don't need, this will give less chance for others to secure a date.... just my view.
TravelRe: Just Got My Visa To Travel To Germany For Work, I Am Having Cold Feet. by Rhomio: 2:45pm On Apr 29, 2021
Well if all you need is a travel insurance from Qatar you can check QIC on google. I live and work in Qatar and I have used it for EU visa several and Germany to be precise. If your visa has been granted, you do not need the travel insurance as no one will ask for it when you are departing from Qatar or when you land in Deutschland. Peace

What you need is a German health insurance and not the usual travel insurance we get from Nigeria. You can not subscribe for German health insurance until you land in Germany, I will advise you discuss this with your employer/Hr for better understanding. Germany is a cool country and the people are great.

Once you land in Germany with a valid visa, nobody will disturb you at the port of entry. Just keep you passport and marriage cert. which i don't think they will request for. Good luck.

Hi everyone, good to be here. Been following this thread for quite a while now and at the verge of deciding whether to go the Oz or Canny way.

I studied Agricultural Economics and Extension Services in the University (BTech, 5 years) and have 5 years work experience as an Agribusiness Desk Officer in a Commercial Bank.

Do I stand a chance of getting a positive skill assessment from VETASSESS as an Agricultural Consultant without a reduction in years of work experience so as to earn 10 points?

I'd also appreciate if anybody, with experience or who has gotten a positive skill assessment with VETASSESS as Agricultural Consultant, can assist in reviewing my JDs or give some heads up in this regard.

Many thanks.
My wife got a positive skill assessment with VETASSESS as Agricultural Consultant back in July.

you must have Cotonou passport before you can be interviewed there but check or write the embassy
You don't have to be a citizen of a country before you can submit your visa application, but you must hold a resident permit of the country you are applying from.

Hope is possible to apply for interview with the Benin republic embassy with my 2nd family cotonou address though my admission address will bear Nigeriahuh Is there any problem with thathuh

PS; am asking considering the problem of fully booked dates and early enrollment that many experienced last winter. My head full now, Kai!
If any of your document is issued in Nigeria, just make sure you legalized it from the German consulate in Nigeria, else it won't be accepted by the German embassy in Benin Republic.

Amen my brother. We should keep in touch as we are likely heading to the same school.
Again I did all my application through uniassit and I contacted uniassit to find out why I haven't gotten any response yet but haven't gotten a reply yet. Though the status of the admission on the uniassit portal said "application forwarded to to the school"
Should I still contact the school directly?
Here is the website for the Lagos Consulate
http://www.nigeria.diplo.de/
I can share a contact with you at BTU who can share with you latest status of your application. I already sent you a PM, get in touch through email please.

Thank you.

Don't be too worry bro, they will surely issue yours this week by God grace and you can as well contact them to know what is causing delay.

My Next Step:

I need someone to give me the correct german embassy LAGOS email address to Legalise/certify my document before i move to the visa application stage. If you have the correct german embassy email for document legalisation, please share it with me.

Thank you.
