Floating the naira without reasonable inflow of dollars was a recipe for disaster. The last admiration used our crude to collect loan which they looted. Now FX inflow from crude sales is next to nothing. Am not a fan of the present administration, but the previous govt killed Nigeria. |
EreluRoz:You need to understand human mind and Psych. When adulterers are having sex, there is always fear in their mind. To the woman, there is fear of been caught (esp if it's her first time of cheating) and this fear is what trigger that muscle spasm. Once the fear is there, the body is already sensing that this sex/penetration shouldn't be happening, hence the spasms comes so as to lock the Vagina. Some spasms do occur even before penetration starts and the man will find it difficult to even penetrate the lady. |
For the sake of tomorrow. For the sake of the life of the unborn.... And for the sake of religious peace in our nation.... LET'S DIVIDE THIS COUNTRY. Let everyone one be on his own, the foundation of this country is in such a way that it will never progress and there won't be peace. |
During my year one, I usually come to school with shorts and terracotta trousers. So One day, 2 cultists just dragged me to a corner with heavy knocks on my head, giving me a stern warning never to wear such to school again. I told a friend who was in 3rd about it and he said I should better adhere to their warning. About a week later, my friend told me that a girlfriend of a senior cultist made a complimentary statement towards me in his presence, so he sent his guys to warn me. |
LexusGs350:lol.... So na as car reach you, na him dem write receipt give you. I thought you said they drove it from another state, that mean payment have been made before today, and receipt is carry today's date 😁😁😁😁 |
CHoccolaTE:No body is criticising anyone... we are just calling out a bad trait that should be stopped. |
GreatAchiever1:Your response to the comment is top notch. |
lordnkem000:They will be enjoying the babymamaship for now... later on in life, it won't be easy. |
lordnkem000:I think say na only me notice am. |
We4all:Seriously, nothing to write home about. |
We4all:The blame should be both sides, esp the men. I am not sure I have come across any lady who wants to be Baba mama. I know there are ladies like that, but the majority of them who end up as baby mama was promised or (hoped) marriage by the man, then when the pregnancy come, the man ran away. |
fyzaila:That's if they will hear. |
Epurogonogono:You've said it all. Back in the days when even your neighbours or even strangers will help you correct your children, look at how responsible children used to be before. Now that every parent is forming woke, see where we are. Imagine a small girl leaving under her parent roof, but her mode of dressing is as good as someone who is not wearing clothes. Yet her parent won't act, when a neighbour or a stranger tries to correct her, the next thing people will start saying "mind your business". |
fineboynl:Well... I don't know your story, so let me rest my case. |
fineboynl:It was that restriction that kept most of us in check. Now take a look at our current surrounding. With parent giving their children freedom, look what they are becoming. And your last statement is contradicting what you just wrote up there. Why are you restricting your child from stealing, aren't you supposed to give him or her freedom of choice and action. |
Scholace:That sentence is just to deceive her. |
Switinthemiddle:In the first place, you noticed that your lover isn't compatible with you, you still went ahead and got her pregnant. Oh I forgot, these days s x comes even before the partner know themselves. That's not right at all. |
Epurogonogono:You are not far from the truth @bolded. |
Evolutionism:lol.... |
Scholace:Now sef... The men will boldly tell a lady to get pregnant before marriage, and when the pregnancy come, he start singing another song. The lady will now end up bearing the bulk of the consequences as her life is definitely distorted. |
Funny country. So police took their time to track this guy and finally got him after some months.... but they can't track bandits who have been terrorising Nigerians for years. Nigerian security.... ötìlō... |
Let me just add this one... What do you as a lady stand to gain from being a baby mama. A guy who is out looking for a baby mama is likely going to try to claim the child for himself. If the guy didn't marry you, after providing child support to you, you expect him to leave the child and move on? He will likely want to draw the child to be his own at his adult stage. What then is in for the ladies who opt to be baby mamas. Some ladies are feeling like because they are getting child support money monthly from the man, so they just relax and enjoy their self. They won't or may not be able to develop their self for the future. So when the child support stops, they can no long afford the basic needs of life.... this make them to resort to doing all sort of things just to survive. Most of all these baby mamas you are seeing online or around you, are probably regretting their actions. Ladies, don't fall victim to the charms of men... If you are not good enough to be his wife, then don't be a baby mama for him. Stay away from pre-marital sex Stay away from pregnancy before marriage. The life you see all these baby mamas enjoying now, later on they will be full of regrets. |
As strange as this may sound, let's stop encouraging baby mamas, it's not a good thing to do or to be proud of. These days I hear most guys say that they won't marry, they would rather look for a lady who will be their baby mama. Some guys are even planning to have multiple baby mamas. Well, which lady in her right sense would want to be a baby mama. Aren't you even ashamed that you call yourself a baby mama. Like the purpose of coming to life is not even to be a mother and a wife, but a baby mama who might be left alone if the guy succeeds in taking away the child from you. Anyway, that's not the main purpose of creating this thread. This is an HYPOTHESIS... I have come to realise that most children raised by baby mamas/single mothers are very wild and lack morals. They are usually toxic inside of them and very disrespectful, no shame, no atom of responsibility in them and they always behave as if they have no parental guidance. It's seems like a woman alone should not be left with the sole responsibility of training a child from childhood through teenage ages. Women do not have the mental capacity to do such and so the child doesn't turn out well. It's a different game when a woman lost her husband and is left alone with the children. In this case, 60-70% of the time, the husband's relatives helps the woman to train the child. But that's not the case of baby mamas/single mothers. Most baby mama/single mothers do not usually have the support of relatives due to the circumstances surrounding the child they are bearing, and so they are left all alone in training the child... and in greater percentage of the time, the child is not trained "rightly and homely". My appeal goes to the men, if you need a child, go and adopt one... If you need one carrying your blood, better get married and join hands with your wife in giving your child the required parental guidance they need.

Modified... Na even Internal matter between the US and the Iran. Make dey sha settle. |
APC is a govt of jamboree. They waste money on things that can't benefit the general population. Worst of it all is that they borrowed these money just to waste it. All these cash transfers and cash sharing that APC govt have been sharing since, what's the long lasting benefit of such initiatives.... Nothing. Just money wasted down the drain. Over 500b have been shared so far since 2016, yet they keep sharing. If this money was used to build an industry or railway spanning north to south, is it not better. |
Whether the army escorted the bandits or not... As long as bandits carried out attack in a community for almost two days without any intervention from the army. That's enough escort for me. If not even if our army headquarters is in far away kebbi or Sokoto, 5 hours is enough time to fly in first responder troops to at least mitigate the killings. But no, bandits killed people for more than 30hours and you expect us not to say that the security hands is involved in this. |
The best thing for everyone in this country is simple. Since govt aren't doing anything on this bandit issue. Avoid traveling completely. If you state of residence doesn't have a connecting flight to your state of destination, don't travel. If it has, use flight. If you can't afford flight, what ever you are traveling there to do might be done through proxy. Life is just once and the pain you will put your loved ones into might be hard to forget. Nigeria is gone to the dogs, everyone need to protect himself. |
There are times when the FG borrowed 80M dollars last year. Thats around 80 billion naira. Why can't the FG plan well so that they will just use the money generated in one month from stamp duty and do what they needed the loan for. My friend will always say, Nigeria revenue generation is enough to settle all out budgetary liabilities, but corruption and lack of remittance to the government is washing away all the revenues. |
The above analysis is just an approximate, am very sure the actual amount won't be less than 100 billion generated monthly from stamp duty charges. Mind you that I did not include microfinance banks and fintechs when calculating the total number of banks we have in Nigeria. And another advantage of this revenue from stamp duty is that the cost of collection is almost next to zero as banks debit directly from customers acct and remit to the FG, except if there is a percentage of commission that is meant for banks. (I didn't take that into consideration). This amount is just in stamps duty charges from banking transactions, am sure we all know that there is also vat deducted from your account on every transaction you make to other banks. And the VAT charges depends on the amount you transferred. When you factor in other sources of revenue to the FG confers, how come our country is always shouting that there is no money. |
So I was just lying on my bed yesterday(Sunday 7th January) when I receive alert of stamp duty charges(Electronic Money Transfer Levy). I received it on my 2 account in Zenith Bank, cos I have a current and a savings account in Zenith. Now I noticed that the reference number in the account were almost similar, which shows that they follow serially as customers do transaction. Then I decided to do a little bit of mathematics with the reference number. I went through my alert SMS, I picked a transaction on Sunday afternoon last week(31st December), the reference number was 358990****. Then I checked the reference number for my last transaction on 6th January, and it was 364901****. So when I checked the the difference, it was about 59 million. This means that, within a week, in zenith alone, approximately 59M transaction was carried out. There are about 24 banks in Nigeria, though I know it's not all of them that perform numerous transactions like zenith bank. So I just rounded the number to 15 banks. Multiplying 59M transaction by 15 banks, we have 885M transaction carried out in Nigerian banks per week. Not all transactions are qualified for stamp duty charges, so lets say 70% of these transactions are from 10k and above, which are transactions that are qualified for stamp duty charges. 70% of 885M is about 620M transaction qualified for stamp duty charges in a week. Therefore, in a month, there are 2.48 billion transactions that banks debit stamp duty charges and remit same to govt. Multiplying this 2.48B by N50 gives 124 billion naira in revenue to the FG. N124,000,000,000. ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR BILLION NAIRA. STILL TYPING. |
