This is simply Judicial Terrorism perpetrated by Buhari-led FG against the people of Nigeria and PDP. Their main intent is to fraudulently use the court to subvert the peoples' will.

When PDP was in power. Governors of Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Rivers, Kogi, Edo, Anambra and probably more that I can't recall now were removed by the court. No APC governor has ever been removed and all these happen while PDP was in power. Countless other elected politicians were also removed during this period and PDP has the majority share of this.

It was not judicial terrorism then but now it is. We all know PDP strategy is always to default to rigging even in areas where they have a good standing like Rivers during the last election. I challenge anybody to publish the name and party of all elections that were nullified by the courts during the 16 years of PDP rule and let's see which party has been terrorizing Nigerians.

I remember a president 'long time ago' who would have set up a committee to look into this, then set up a second committee to look into the first committee report and a third committee to recommend action base on the second committee report

Even after election, they are still deceiving this guy.

Government is govt. Fashola does not own lagos, he cant just do anything he wish.

You need prudence when dealing with international community.

Of course, Fashola cannot do anything he wish. The decisions was taken at the state executive council meeting and approved by the state assembly. Or what do you want him to do, to organise a referendum in the state for everybody to vote? What is my business with other state, so Fashola should have consulted other states too before making a decision?

Of course, he has an hidden agenda. Who doesn't? France has already called on the United Nations to clarify US role in Haiti both now and in the future because they think US has an hidden agenda too. My point is, people can always see the good and bad in the action you take but do good anyway. I am you have an hidden agenda in rebuking Fashola's action.

really ishmael, I think ND or OND can remain to provide middle level technical/professional skills because really not everybody will be able to or have the opportunity go to the university. Polytechnics should just produced ND and stop there, at least nobody will say ND and BSc should be equal (I hope so). A ND holder can now proceed to the university to obtain a BSc.

Really, considering the structure of the University and Polytechnics, there is no way both degrees can be considered equal- let face the fact. An academic degree is judge by the positions of those administering it and not the length of time

unless the government change the structure the way these two degree are administered, the discrimination will continue. my suggestion is that HND should be scrapped

it was unfortunate that i was not part of the debate and when it died down but permit to bring up again the issue.

i was particularly appalled by the responses from hnd-holder who said hnd in nigreria is equivalent to some postgraduate in some other countries, i will like him to supply proof. also he claims a phd, did he get that from the polythenic.

he even said a hnd holder cannot become a rector in a polythenic; imagine a system discriminating against itself and you dare say it is better than the university it embraces.

pls don't decieve yourself does making ddecisions for or against the hnd are all university graduate. the hnd themselves has no say in this matter

my proposal is that hnd should be scrapped but nd retained. hnd has taken us no where and it will be relevant in the future educational system. you can be sure of that cos those making the decision are not hnd holders.

nigeria government portal cost 40 million naira so it shows how much a web designer can earn. but i believe if application developer can really market their product, they can earn more on the long run
