dilbert100: millwallNo there isn't, but very recently a teenage Millwall fan was banned from their games until he attended a "re-education course" run by the Club to stamp out racism amongst their fans. Everyone of course knows about the John Terry saga, along with the horrendous abuse Mikel got over Twitter when they lost their last game. Chelsea football club ![]() |
To all the Chelsea fans: Do you know your club has the 2nd highest number of openly RACIST fans in London? Do you know your 'fans' abuse every one of their black players (especially MIKEL) once they have a bad game? Read up on the Chelsea Headhunters - an affiliated group to Combat 18 aka the BNP. Wisen up. I'm just saying by the way.... ![]() |
Did anyone tell you bashers that POWER is an aphrodisiac? Not suggesting anything, but OBJ will always attract pretty women and it wont be down to something as simple as LOOKS..... |

Burger01: Some people wey dey form for that shiite of a place go clear eyes now. I bet some are already looking for cave to hide instead of swallowing their prides and egos and relocate home to Lasgidi. I did my studies in uk and after graduation I didn't bother to stay behind and waste my life like some senseless folks are doing. Their is no place like naija. In the states I still think of settling down in naija, though usa is far better than that shiite of a place called uk. Guys, pack your things and face naija. No shame, you don try...Hello Burger, Everywhere has its advantages and disadvantages, I was born here in the UK yet went to secondary school (Baptist Academy) and university (UNILAG) yet I have chosen to live in the UK, despite the fact I own a house in Lagos and return every Xmas. While I feel sorry for the plight of illegal immigrants and their daily struggle, I'm enjoying everything this country (UK) has to offer and when I'm good and ready to return to Nigeria (possibly when there is decent governance or a better quality of life) I shall return permanently. Until then I will continue to enjoy the best of both worlds without slagging off one end just to prove a point. I'll leave that for unsuccessful and non enterprising haters. ![]() |
5. hired a church videographer missed most of the important shots and stopped the video to chase a babe. ![]() Great point. That happens a lot with London DJ's and camera men. Very unprofessional. |
Please keep this thread open and on point, do not digress into other matters ...well done Dudubody et al..... |
Omo_Tier1: [b]Boko Haram is an ideology and if anyone thinks He can win a war of ideology by boots and guns alone, you are only wasting your time! |
Jog on, you strike me as a poor excuse for a troll, first you try and denigrate my post, then you suddenly become revisionist before you finally realise you've bitten off more than you can chew. Take note, not everyone that posts on Nairaland is an illiterate, ill informed, local unexposed buffoon (not casting aspersions but hey if the cap fits and all that...) |
Kobojunkie: Yes, but nothing IN and around the words above suggest any of what you claim to have deduced so far. Ofcourse we give our Government money to take problems, that is what we do with Government. That is essentially what Government really, a centralized administrative system to which resources are pooled to solve societal issues.I can see you're a typical Keyboard warrior type - ready to insult with a sanctimonious attitude - please feel free to ignore my posts if you think they are deluded, conversely do not profess to speak for everyone else and kindly let them draw their own conclusions. So far I've been polite and temperate of your insolent replies, yet you really "don't want to hear my mouth" as my Jamaican pals would say. If you've been shown up by your OWN posts don't take your frustration out on me, all I came on here to do was engage with decent minds not internet trolls looking to start a flame war. Back off. |
We all know we have a Government we have given Billions of Dollars to, to tackle this problem. Your words not mine. And yes, the mindest of a typical Nigerian - get rich quick, self before others and they will do the same all contribute to inequality in society, which in turn promotes resentment and an ideal breeding ground for perceived injustices to be solved by militant means. Obviously youre going from pillar to post without grasping the root cause of Boko Haram. Blaming an ineffective government is only part of the problem, the real issue to be tackled is why these groups emerge from regions of the nation where there are large numbers of disenfrancised and unemployed youth without any prospects. After all a man with something to live for will not be so ready to die. Meanwhile do not take this as absolving the govt or Jonathan of any blame, rather a more holistic approach to resolving militant issues within the country. |
Kobojunkie: Please let's stop this silly exercise of pretending that the Nigerian on the street holds the solution to this problem. Even the Pastor never said that and rightly so.So kindly tell me how throwing money through an inept goverment at a major security problem will somehow solve it? The only people who can change anything in Nigeria are its people, time and time again our rulers have failed miserably to find a solution to even the smallest problem, talk less of battling what has rightly been described as an insurgency. Change does not necessarily flow from the barrel of a gun, but the will of the people and their determination to put things right. Without a common purpose (reorientation of mindset and values) we can never hope to live in peace, or ever hope to subdue Boko Haram or any other group of militants that use force to promote their ideology. It is a common Nigerian delusion (something you attributed to me)that money can solve everything. |
Criticising the inept and incompetent Jonathan does not equate to not supporting him, infact pointing out his mistakes and flaws in a coterie of sycophants and bootlickers may be the best way of highlighting problems to him. However most of Nigerias politics are based on tribal/non logical stances hence the reason why anyone different is attacked as an enemy of progress for not following the status quo. |
A lot of posters are making the fatal mistake of not listening or incorporating the issues raised in this intelligent statement but are using their own petty prejudices to judge the message within. Undeniably, the state of the country is analysed and the solution is not down to the person who raised it, but down to each and every well meaning Nigerian. Obviously that discounts all of the imbeciles criticising the Pastor. ![]() Disclaimer: I am a free thinker and my religious affliation is no factor .... |
Although the truth of what happened is hard to ascertain, the fact remains it would be extremely hard for a taxi driver to concoct such a detailed story even if briefed beforehand.Even as a publicity stunt, Davido must know the Nigerian public do not like arrogant thugs so that angle doesnt make sense either. My point is something certainly happened and Davido is quickly becoming unpopular or at risk from a public beating, bodyguards not withstanding. It would help if he gave his own version of events rather than going on Twitter to question fans' intelligence. ![]() |
The only thing I can say is that whether you believe in Illuminati or not, these findings are 100% correct in the deciphering of occult symbolism. There is nothing 'made up' or falsified, all the symbols are occultic/hindu/egyptian mythology items. |
Very unfortunate and I feel very sorry for Gbenga, who apart from being someone I have played football with, I know to be a decent and very humble person. I hope he recovers from this setback and to all those who are questioning how much his personal worth was I say one thing - when you or your generations finally do anything constructive with your pathetic lives then try to estimate anything you lose in monetary terms off the back of a personal tragedy, instead of casting aspersions on a good honest man. Certain things are irreplaceable and beyond monetary value, but its the Naija way to quantify everything in terms of money. I hope he comes back stronger and God bless his family. |
I find it strange that most tribalistic Igbos are developing a siege mentality/persecution complex. The majority of sensible Igbos are quite content to get on with things without resorting to ethnic moaning - just shows the lower classes that have nothing to aspire to are making the most noise and stupid pronouncements. |
engineerd: LOL....what a stupid dirty NIGGRES!What kind of self hater are you? Obviously you are black.... Deal with Patience's stupidity without resorting to self derogatory language. |
Does everything on NL have to be tribalistic? Worse still its always between Yoruba V Igbo. Get your act together and fight the REAL enemy - those that will oppress you and your childrens children - i.e the so called elite. |
Way to busy and the Arch defines no purpose or aesthetic function. Brilliant post by the way, |
Excellent advert - I hope you sell it soon Chidoxyl. Best Wishes. |

Hey why the hatred, Its only anti socials and modern day racists that slag off each others races, personally I have dated most girls from all parts of the world and I can honestly say I've found Jamaican girls (UK or Yardie) to be amongst the most attractive loving and exciting. I love Jamaican girls just like I love Igbo, Yoruba, Sierra Leonean, South African, Dominican, Zambian, Zimabawean, Indian, American, English, Scottish and Russian girls. In short as long as shes a decent smart female shes good. ![]() |
I listen to Slick Rick now and I swear, Eedris Abdulkareem will outrap that negro. ![]() Thats the most retarded statement on this entire thread. Bedtime Story was one of the first storytelling raps that introduced 'dark humour' into the genre. A groundbreaking rhyme. Im not taking sides as rightly said before musical taste is subjective, personally I find a lot of Naija Hip Hop annoyingly formulaic and unoriginal but there are also people who break the mould and come up with originality and creativity which I respect. Oh and just for the record my musical tastes are extremely eclectic. |
How much does a 15 KvA system cost? |
in my opinion, its not a matter of how many subsections. to me, the property section should have just two -Spot on. Thats exactly what is needed. ![]() |
Axeman, Beware of Ghanaian eye service, they are always sucking up to oyinbos at the expense of their fellow Africans. In my general experience, I would say its all about managing expectations, know what your boss expects from you and act likewise, know what your colleagues expect from you and treat them likewise and finally know what you want from the job and act likewise. You cant go wrong as youve covered all the bases in which any haters can attempt to use to attack you. |
Im not against people advertising genuine opportunities however like many I come on here for information and contacts from reliable sources (i.e. Lawyer, Aasog, etc) so as to make informed decisions on property. ![]() But on the other hand you have all these spammers that advertise fake visas, grossly overpriced properties without any credible proof (i.e. photos) and also those that claim other companies products as their own. ![]() I dont think this is the right forum for them and maybe a trash bin or seperate section like business should be for them. |
* Bump * Too many irrelevant adverts ![]() |
Well said Kiki , all the informative and constructive posts are being relegated to the background while all these dubious adverts with no responses are being pushed to the top. |
? i bet there isn't much in it !!!!
