rampant lover: Even if Ghanaians r living in slums, dem slums hv constant light n ders peace. Christian n Muslims in that country live in peace. What about Nigeria.
LIES... That is why you don't say what you don't know. Black African Muslims are the same all over Africa. Ghanaian Muslims are as aggressive as Nigerian Muslims.
There is serious crisis in Northern region of Ghana. An internal crisis in Ghana resulted in many Ghanians fleeing to togo and today Ghana has thousands of refugees living in Togo. These are facts you can check online. NO PEACEFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD HAVE THEIR CITIZENS LIVING AS REFUGEES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.

Tired of quoting all the long post

You see I know you are an intelligent fella , I look ghana as a brother nation , I don't even like it when nigerians here curse ghanians a lot , ghana is a very nice nation the people , are welcoming ... When people are advancing in tech and scienceand economicallly, nigeria think say na by music be giant of africa for where which giant,,don't believe the hype , naija is stagnant same way it is 15 yrs ago, stewpid government, looting now the latest is banquet hall, and even our music industry self is by man no man, only the top *A list acts get deals to concerts , upcoming act are not carried along
These are some of the niggarrs holding Nigeria back. Are you trying to say Ghana is more advanced than Nigeria in science/technology? Have you ever been to Ghana? Can Ghana match our advancement in science? As you have heard or witnessed Nigerian engineers building telecom satelites etc, have you ever heard Ghana engineers producing whelbarrow or something?

Does Ghana produce anything you can tell us starting from matches or even handkerchief or wheelbarrow? Pls give us instances and not just talking from your assss.... I know Ghana inside out. I know that ghana does not produce anything. Even fruits are sooo expensive in Ghana bc its being imported from other countries. Ghana imports carrot from TOGO, Watermelon from Burkina faso, common onions is imported from Niger (http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=254969&comment=0#com)

Almost all drugs in Ghana have NAFDAC NUMBER, I don't know why. Almost all body creams and biscuits in Ghana are made in Nigeria. If you doubt me, come to Ghana, you will see Dangote Cement, Conoil, Nigerian made noddles, biscuits, gala, La Casera, 5 alive, fruit juice, some Nigerian made bread, Nigerian made news papers, globalcom network and Glo recharge cards, hair creams, body lotion, emzor products, zinox computer products, aba made shoes in some boutiques etc. But look around you in Nigeria, what made in Ghana product do you see apart from ALAMO BITTERS which every Ghana man consume in large quantity to get errrection bc their manhooood is very tiny in ghana. This is no joke but FACTS, ask Ghanaian ladies why THEY PREFER NIGERIAN MENhuh?

I am not trying to say Nigeria is perfect, I am ashamed of Boko Haram and other evils ravaging Nigeria at the moment, but in-spite of all these we are able to be where we are today.

PetroDolla: Don’t mind them o jare! You are welcome to visit Ghana any day.

Most of these eediots with a brain of a fish have never even stepped outside Nigeria in their miserable lives. All they hear is the half-truths and propaganda their incompetent, clueless and corrupt officials tell them.

So while the rest of the world is busy making progress, creating a better system for their people, nigerians are happy with surviving on less than $2 a day, even when about 2.4 million barrels of oil are exported daily. That’s enough reason for a violent revolution in other climes. But what do we see? Imbeciles who have turned themselves into talkative and moaners!

Just look at the UN Human Development Indices and you will weep for your dustbin country!
Do you know why I am not afraid to stand up to any Nigerian? Simple! If you tell me one thing that is wrong with the Ghanaian society, I will give you five examples of the wrongs in your country! Whatever imperfections you see in Ghana, multiply it by 20 and you get what is obtainable in nigeria. It is as simple as that.

In Ghana, we have our own developmental challenges. The difference between us and you is that we accept our shortcomings and work hard to fix them. Our leaders are not saints, but they try their best to deliver good things for their people. Today, when I drive out on the streets of Accra, I see lots of road construction projects going on and that makes me very happy. I see lots of big structures going up. In the East Legon area where I live, a massive road construction project is ongoing. The current NDC govt, whether it is reelected on Friday or not, can at least boast that it tried to improve infrastructure and no one can fault that. And if the NPP is elected, they have promised to provide free secondary education. So you can see Ghana is on the road to somewhere. In five years time, you’ll be amazed at what we would have achieved.

I hope you can say the same about your country. Indeed I hope there will still be a country called nigeria 5 years from now.
ANOTHER LIE 101... Name one road project initiated by NDC government? Last time i checked, all the new roads under construction were initiated by K4 through millennium challenge account. From mile 7 to Mallam and all the motorways, including Biu Dam project etc. NDC is a failure...

No matter what indices used, Nigeria is far more developed than ghana in all ramificiations. When i travel from lagos to the east I see lots of mansions all over the place. But travel from outside of ACcra to maybe western region or eastern region u can hardly see any 300k USD property.

You can google and see the NNPC towers on google, both in Lagos and Abuja, but ghana cocoa board house is a 2 story toilet that is less than 100k in value. Talk about where they refine gold, the properties are just toilets. Then you begin to imagine what is this hype about ghana all about? There is no single world class facility in Ghana, if you have, please mention it. I visit Dakar Senegal every month, i see mansions and sky scrappers all over Senegal and Ivory Coast, but Ghana is a toilet. Again I ask, where is the money in Ghana? If you dont have good roads, you have no world class facilities, you have no 5 star hotel, then WHAT DO YOU HAVE? I am from Imo State and in my poor state we have a 5 star hotel, IMO CONCORDE HOTEL. Tell me what you have in Ghana? I have been to all premium hotels in Ghana so u know

PetroDolla: The last I checked, the only thing in Nigeria close to a city is Abuja, huh? Even then Abuja is still a small place, and things are beginning to fall apart in that city already.

If your idea of a city is the slum nigeria has become, then I am sorry for you. I’ll live in a ‘village’ any day provided it has what it takes – good roads, electricity good health care, security, potable water, shops, schools etc. In my opinion, those are the elements that count, whether village or city. How many of your cities have those facilities and amenities? How many of your people have access to electricity? How many of your people can sleep with their two eyes closed at night? In the day time, they have to deal with book haram, kidnappers, ritualists etc etc. And how many of your people-whether in the city or village- have access to good quality education? Why do you think your compatriots are trooping to Ghana to attend school every day?

Let me tell you a little story

This Nigerian woman brought her daughter to attend a public secondary school in Ghana few weeks ago. Since she was new to Ghana she pleaded that I accompany her to the school, which is outside Accra. And since I had a little bit free time I took her and daughter to the school.

First, she was hugely impressed with the road. She said the road we traveled on was one of the best she had seen, especially as it goes up a mountainous terrain. When we got to the school, we found out that the girl should have done medical examination before reporting. So the school authorities refused to admit her until the tests were carried out. I asked for the nearest hospital where all the tests could be done and we were directed to a government-owned hospital about 60 kilomters away, in some 'village'. Again we drove on top class-European standard road. We met very professional-looking health workers. Within an hour, we have done all the tests, including a comprehensive eye test, and computer generated result were issued to us. At that facility, deep in the Ghanaian hinterland, the Nigerian woman was truly fascinated to see computers everywhere. Everything had been computerized- from collecting a card to the payment system.
Do you know what the Nigerian woman said? She said this can’t happen even at the best public hospital in lagos! Chances are that there won’t be electricity to operate the computers and even if the tests are done, you may have to come the following day to take the results after paying a hefty bribe.

So my guy, keep deceiving yourself.

No amount of rantings will change the pitiable state your country finds itself today. And my honest opinion is that
Nigeria is falling apart and the signs are there for all discerning people.

And while you swim in the ocean of self delusion- I hope you can fix that Seme-Lagos highway (you call it expressway or something). It is more than a national disgrace! you can find money to build a second banquet hall at the presidential villa and yet cannot find money to fix the road that links your country to the outside world? Do you wonder why non-nigerians think you people are weird? Very weird?
LAIR 101... Which hospital are you talking about or it has no name? The best government owned hospital in Ghana is KORLEBU and it is a death trap. Dozens of people die in this korlebu everyday. It is this place where the doctors are paid peanuts and they doctors have been selling SPERMS to meet ends needs. Do a little google search if you doubt me.

A Ghanaian friend had an accident last month and was rushed to Korlbu, when he woke up the next day he mandated the doctors to move him to a private hospital. I asked why the sudden decision, he said because he know 7 peoplke that went to korlebu for surgery and never came out alive. Even when my wife was carrying my first son I told her to go to Korlebu she refused and said unless i want her dead. The place is smelling like a mortuary, the buildings are too old and dirty.

This Petrodollar is a typical lair, I have warned him/her to stop spreading lies on NL when am around bc i know Ghana inside out. Not long ago this same fool was on nairaland to boast about Ghana having health insurance bla bla bla. TODAY MOST HOSPITALS IN GHANA INCLUDING THE BIGGEST GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS LIKE KORLEBU DO NOT ACCEPT THIS HEALTH INSURANCE.

I was wondering which part of ghana that has the good road network hes talkin about? Accra is a slum, there is no world class facility anywhere in Ghana. All things in ghana are third world. Its rare to see a good building in Ghana. The povery level in ghana will surface the moment you land in their airport. if you are Complaining about MMIA then you need to see kotoka airport.

Needless to waste my time on these clowns. Ghana is 100 years behind Nigerian in development. Rivers State of Nigeria is far more developed than Ghana. Rivers state has many universities, 2 standard airports (ghana has one 1), 2 standard seaports, one oil refinery and one petrochemical company. In Port Harcourt you will see multi million dollar mansions, in PHC the tallest hotel (Hotel Presidential) is 14 stories high, the tallest hotel in Ghana is 6 stories. The tallest STATE government building in Port Harcourt is 16 stories high, THE TALLEST GOVERNMENT BUILDING IN GHANA IS 8 STORIES. These are FACTS, so pls my poor Ghana inlaws, kindly crawl back to the whole where you came from.

I didnt know ghanaian musicians are this cheap. Sakordie is the biggest act in Ghana, yet he is paid less than 10k USD to perform in a show. Even Nigerian comedians like Ay, I go Die etc makes more than that.

Abrantie, petrodolla and all my inlaws from Ghana, i have one message for you guys. SLIPPERS GET SIZE. NIGERIA IS NOT YOUR MATE IN ANYTHING. No matter how you rant on the internet, it doesn't change the fact that MOST GHANIANS love and prefer Nigerian music to ur crappy hiplife. 65% of Ghanaian based Radio/TV Stations dedicate several hours airplay for Nigerian music/movies bc thats whats up... I am not trying to underrate Psqaure, infact I am glad this is happening in my lifetime.

Not long ago the best and richest African musicians are from Southern Africa, we all know the likes of Lucky Dube, Brenda, Chaka Chaka etc.

I am aware many of our musicians used to be poor and we used to blame pirates, bad government policies etc for their woes. But suddenly, within the last 5 years or thereabout, Nigerian musicians are now a force to recon with in Africa and beyond. The likes of Psquare, Dbanj, Wizkid, Flavour, Davido are doing us proud all over Africa. Many Ghanians and Liberians I know use Psquare songs as their ringing tone.

Psquare performed in Ghana last night at the Malta Guinness sponsored “Top of the World Celebration” Concert. R2bees and Sakordie were also supposed to perform alongside Psquare but R2bees and Sakordie threatened to back out if the show promoter does not pay them $20,000 each. This is because Ghanaian insiders confided in them that Malta Guinness was paying Psquare US$300,000. Now I want to know, when did our musicians become so good that they charge up to 300k to perform in a show? Again, I am not jealous and I like this if its true. After-all, Lil Wayne of America makes 50 million US Dollars yearly for singing crap. I wish and hope I will be alive when our musicians like Wizkid will be making up to 20 million dollars yearly. CONGRATS TO PSQUARE and all them 9ja musicians making us proud...

How does Nigerian music become very popular in Ghana? http://ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=257945&comment=0#com

How does Nigerian music become very popular in Ghana while Ghanaian music remains contraband commodity in the former’s country? This is a big question that requires serious necropsy by entertainment pundits.

Give or show a Nigerian movie to the average Ghanaian in the 90’s and he or she will spurn it. At that time, Ghanaians loved Ghanaian movies to Nigerian movies. Starting the new millennium, Ghana was deluged with an influx of Nigerian movies. The table then turned; Ghanaians developed a strong predilection for Nigerian movies and ever since, have not looked back.

In the 90’s, rarely would one hear a Nigerian song being played on radio. By the year 2004, Nigerian songs or music started gaining foot in Ghana and ever since, Nigerian songs have steadily become popular in Ghana and Nigerian artistes for that matter, have also become popular as well.

A colleague art writer went to Nigerian recently to cover an entertainment event and after his return, narrated his observations on the Nigerian music industry. He said barely would one hear a Ghanaian song being played on radio.

The only Ghanaian songs he heard being played was songs produced by VIP and R2Bs. Kesse, the male vocalist of this year’s Vodafone Ghana music awards after participating in the ‘project fame’ music reality show in Nigeria, returned to also say he never heard any Ghanaian song played on any medium for the period he spent there.

Currently, Nigerian songs or music have very popular and so are their artistes in Ghana. Nigerian songs have become so popular that some Ghanaian musicians even copy their lyrics, accent, composition, songs or style of song engineering. Ghana and Nigerian are not enemies; neither is this feature attempting to brew an unhealthy competition or antagonism between them.

It wouldn’t have become an issue of discussion or to worry about if Nigerian music are popular in Ghana and Ghanaian music are also popular or doing creditably well in the latter’s country.

The facts on the grounds are that Nigerian songs are far popular in Ghana than Ghanaian music is in Nigeria. This is a big challenge to our music industry because Nigeria has a bigger market Ghana can tap into. It’s obvious the media in Ghana is the main tool that has made Nigerian songs popular in Ghana but the questions that require answers are; how do the Nigerians influence our media for their songs to become popular in Ghana? Is it that they pay ‘fat payola’ to the Ghanaian media than the Ghanaian musicians?

Do they have special agents here who do promotions for them? And why are Ghanaian songs not that popular in Nigeria? Could they (Nigerians) be sabotaging our music on their soil? Or is Nigerian music better than Ghanaian music?

MUSIGA must come in on this issue on a way to make Ghanaian music popular in Nigeria. MUSIGA can propose a treaty with the Nigerian music union to promote Ghanaian music there. The Nigerian population is big and that gives them a bigger market than Ghana.

However, I certainly don’t think any measure such as banning Nigerian songs in Ghana is or will be a panacea. We must be tactful.

Rudebwoy: She has really made an impact.

Tiwa Savage was born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Singer/songwriter signed to Sony USA record label.

She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2007 and has since then been working with music producers in the industry.

Tiwa began her music in the UK touring as a background singer for artists such as Mary J. Blige, Sting, George Michael, Kelly Clarkson and Spice Girls.

She participated in the X-Factor, reaching the top 24.

Savage wrote Jaicko’s “Oh Yeah,” Kat Deluna’s “Push Push”, Fantasia’s “Collard Greens & Cornbread,” and performed background vocal credit on Whitney Houston’s album I Look to You.

She featured in a song called "Oyi by Flavour."

On the business end Tiwa set her own 323 imprint with entrepreneur Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun and currently signed to Sony ATV as a songwriter.

Savage will embark on a solo career and will release her debut album in late 2012. She has also collaborated with Chuck Harmony (Rihanna, Mary J. Blige), Warren “Oak” Felder (Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez), and producer So Sick (Da Grin) just to name a few, on her debut.

Tiwa Savage owns her own record label, 323 Music Entertainment, with partner TJ.

She is currently[when?] working on her upcoming album under Mavin Records.

Although Savage has not yet set a specific release date for the album, she has released the singles Love Me (4x) and Kele Kele Love, which are both sung partly in English and partly in Yoruba, her native language.

Ohaneze1: You are not serious, I married from Osumenyi. What is your village in Osumenyi? All of wants to be from Anambra, inferior people.
Thats why other tribes mock Igbos. Tell me what makes you superior to someone from say Imo State or Calabar? The way you are running your mouth shows you are indeed a Peter Obi paid agent.

Is Anambra better than any other state in Nigeria? Is it not the same Anambra where most people love money more than their soul? Vietnam/Cambodia were very nice places for all black people before Nnewi bandits flooded the place and started duping, raping and stealing every where which was why Vietnam government mandated ALL NIGERIANS to leave Vietnam within 2 weeks. Asians hate Africans today simply bc of the bad attitude of criminally minded Anambra people.

Take Imo as another instance. Most of the kidnappers and hardened armed robbers caught in Imo State this year are from Anambra and you are here blabling shiiit? I Know that all Nigerians love money but Anambra no get compare. Its rare to see any sane Igbo manor woman marrying from that place. Please take your stupidity and naivety elsewhere. If Anambra is superior to other people Onitsha will not be the dirtiest slum in Nigeria. And if Anambra is safe for business you lots will not be running to develop other states. Even petty traders and apprentice in Onitsha are not safe, they are robbed, harrased and kidnapped daily and you still have the effrontery to claim superiority to other places. Come to Owerri this weekend all hotels are filled to capacity and many of the occupants are people from your state. have you ever heard any sane person going to Onitsha to spend weekend? UNLESS OF-COURSE YOU WANT TO DIE. Your superiority is all about PUSHING COCAINE and producing FAKE DRUGS to make quick money.

LesbianBoy: BLOODY GOLDDIGGER! Btw some men dey mumu sef, didnt he hear about hear NU(D)E picture that circulated in the past, wey him dey marry am? Or did she use juju on him?
U dont know what you are saying. Maybe you dont understand men very well? I know a very rich Nigerian guy in Ghana that wants to fuckkk Yvonne Nelson at all cost. He says he can pay 5million naira just to sleep with her. The guy is always having pics of all the Ghana/9ja actresses he has slept with.

What am I trying to say is, some men have this fantasy about celebrities. As for me, I will never marry someone in that industry unless she will quit acting before going to the alter.

But I think they both look happy together?
