Rfactor: i
just did one, but heard u can pay at most 100$ per month......so i rushed one payment towards d end of last month n will b doing anoda dis month
Moreover, u can use some ones master card to pay, so far d person has not used it for online transaction dat month. for me i used GTB...paid 90 CAD n was debited with 22k plus wait ooo so you mean u were charged at the rate of (lets say 23 at most) 23000/90 = 255.56 naira per canadian dollar... So wat abt all those stuffs i have been reading online abt it being around 350~360 naira per CAD? Or did Buhari's naira suddenly appreciate overnight? |

andre99: From my little understanding CIC tends to delay PGC/D applicants on purpose, wow a whopping 24wks(6months), thank God u opted for the online route. i still don't get it, is the online route supposed to be faster than the paper route or its just your opinion? I want to know which is really faster or if both are actually processed equally without bias |

TheBatman: Bros thanks for the reply, i didn't really want to say my cgpa for some personal reasons and to keep my anonymity(my former course mates plenty for NL). My cgpa is well above that of your friends'. A former course mate of mine who has a similar cgpa as mine got a regret mail from one of the profs stating that he has more competitive offers from other candidates (atleast they even replied). I'm beginning to think its because i don't have a paper published or maybe there is a bias towards graduates from Nigerian uni's or maybe i should write IELTs and GRE. `I would resume my search for a supervisor though (you guys just motivated me). Thanks one more thing oga rideek, have you gotten a supervisor no i haven't gotten a supervisor Ur CGPA is dat high, don't bother taking a GRE, a lot of schs don't need it anyway Speaking of publications, that is a big deal, it is a major determinant in granting admission because it shows research potential, if you do not have any like myself, no problem, it simply means you have to spread your net over a wider circumference, thats why you shouldn't rely upon a single school, look at all possible schs offering ur program and bombard the faculty members |

Haustraliah: I will love you guys to check Haustraliah on Nairaland, and you will realise that I have been following this thread minimum over three to four years, it cost me nothing to keep silent after having my trv, I kept posting even when in Canada, What I want u to understand is that I got bounty of experience about how this people treat an applicantion, some people say am an agent, because am saying the truth to stop criticising people. check my profile once again. I write free SOP for people, guide them as well. I have assisted over 8 of my family members to Canada, all posted on this same thread. gone are the days of Amefrica Tinuoala etc, now some people can come here and now call me an Agent, well am grateful to this thread because I knew all what I know here, and myself, spouse, and family members benefited from it. Why I criticised her was that I don't want some people to fall on her trap, like using same account balance, it's better to lodge sudden amount of money to ur account and u explain why it's there , probably education Grant. etc. 1.2 million is too small except she uses any other means of sponsorship. Am so sorry to write the this may be my last post on this thread as I think am done here, I may not reply most people. Four years on travel to Canada no be small. Thank u all wish you good luck. heeyaaah!!! We'll miss you But b4 then shey u fit carry me enter Canada? Make i be the last wey u go help for here b4 vexation go make you lock up! I don mail you |

sassyboochic: pls are there free application colleges in canada not that i know of I doubt, only few universities (like alberta) do that, and to qualify for it, you must be from a seriously underdeveloped nation and trust me nigeria (the land of private jets) is far from that list. |
