Kirigidi:keep your cool bro, don't reply insults with insults, I like that, but in my opinion, some of your postulations are wrong. |
RightBoo:imo and abia people do, some parts of ebonyi does, I am not sure of enugwu and anambara, so I wont say, but in any case, the etymology of the variations of dein and dee etc stem from the word di-anyi, or di'anyi which roughly translates to our husband and anambara people use that in Yoruba land, only the oyo people address the rulers as Alaafin, which means, owner of the palace, infact no other Yoruba or Yoruba subgroup use that term, the common ones are either oba, bale, etc, akure people use deeji, its unique only to them too so Alafin and Deeji cant be said to be Yoruba words, cos only a part use the words? if bende axis calls buttocks achin and others call it iken, it renders achin a Malaysian word, that's why everyone who speaks a slight variation of the Igbo dialect different from their neighbours trace their roots to the moon |
MagicBishop:I agree with you 100% that he shouldn't have posted that stuff bro, its unprofessional, but few people will understand cos the ethics of certain professions is lost on some people. but @ the bolded, bro, now that's toooooooo harsh, inexcusable |
MagicBishop: |
DiademSh07:agbor is close to the boundaries of the bini kingdom who might have had conquered or ruled them at some point, though this is not fully concluded yet, so they are bound to have bini influence, mind you I said influence Ilorin is ruled by the fulanis but Ilorin is a Yoruba town, get it?...Ilorin has many Fulani citizens and cultures, but its a Yoruba town. another example is the southern bende parts of abia close to akwa ibom, the but have the same ekpe secret society and not ozo like other igbos, the have same masquerades, even in the ekpe incantations, an Ibibio language is used to usher in the masquerade, the towns are Igbo towns, like uzuakoli etc for owo and benin link, read below https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owo,_Nigeria |
RightBoo:dein is an Igbo word which means "elder" in masculine terms, formally the king of agbor is known as the obi of agbor, till recent the emergence of the siting ruler who changed it to dein, his family name, which is still an Igbo word by the way. educate yourself my good man other dialectal variations of dein is dei, deee, deh, deinde take note |
Kirigidi:paying homage or royal class doesn't mean sh1t bro akure, owo and several towns like ekiti pay homage to bini, infact owo culture is more of bini, but owo people are yorubas emirs palace in Ilorin has a Fulani ambience, but offas, Ilorin people are Yoruba even the word dein is an Igbo word bro, I am not holding brief for them and saying they are Igbo, but stick to points you know my brother |
TonyeBarcanista:can you hear yourself when you talk, so ijaws migrate to a place, own the land, speak a different tongue and remain ijaw, igbos migrate or worse still are aboriginal land owners in a place, but were just carved into another state, which is a modern day Nigeria as awe know it thing, but then they are no longer igbos, its like the ndokwas who are both in rivers and abias state, currently, the ndokwa are saying they would like to be in a single state, be it rivers or abia, lets say they get carved into rivers state, then they cease to be Igbo right? Edwin clerk can speak a tongue unintelligible to the arogbo from ondo but you still consider them ijaw but anybody will undertstand each other from asaba to ikwere to bende, but they are different well done |
HrmOlolade:**** to other matters that name is not Nigerian, its a Guinean name, this thing is the same in Indonesia, many Africans there have Nigerian passports the reason is that Asian countries give Nigerians the highest entry quota into their countries, other Africans come there mostly do do menial jobs and asylum which they feel their citizens should be doing, but a LOT of Nigerians come for education and import business which helps their economy a lot, so other Africans falsify papers and pretend they are Nigerians, at least I know about Taiwan and Indonesia, and alittle about Vietnam |
I doubt northerners would have applauded if the present COAS is say.............ihejirika, when the man was about to annihilate boko, and they were confined to sambisa only, the elders accused him of genocide and petitioned amnesty, they also accused him of embezzlement now that GMB is here, no single thing has bn found to indict him till date now that's the kind of tribalism that is killing this country, I doubt if he is still coas and women were shot, there will be calm from northern elders and even sunni muslim clerics double standards if you ask me note. I don't support or condemn this decision not to apologize, I am indifferent |
though i dont beleive this report, it would have being a different case if a northerner is not the COaS, i recall when the fight against insurgency was at its peak, and ihejirika was the head, it got to a point where the battle was almost won and the militants had left the towns and ran into sambisa as a base, the northern elders for reason best known to them started the ihejirika is boko campaign, then they accused him of genocide, then they denied existence of boko, then he was accused of being too tough, then an international NGO levied war crimes on him, all of them rejoiced Till now, nothing has being found to pin on him, not even money laundering, if it was to be him as head, all hell would have been let loose, it wont be shiite vs army/nigerians, it would be blown into ihejirika the muslim killer vs the north Nigeria is too steeped in tribalism |
mrgbite:I just discovered that it will be a waste of time to engage you in a verbal joust or any banter for that matter, you are a waste of sperm and space and you are not worth the oxygen you consume Bye |
mrgbite:Have being to LAUTECH before? |
Sagamite:hmn, wise words from a sage |
abduljabbar4:Did you march into Aso rock, meander through the DSS, barrel your way through the security, face GEJ face to face and call him clueless, or did you do it behind the safety of your keyboard |
sameer1212:Thats the problem with you ppl, like egift omenka and beremx You see it as APC vs wailers instead of advocating for the right thing It shows that like the leaders, the supporters have no ideology whatsoever and are as good as programmed robots defending the indefendable Why would a president warn ppl of austerity measures but still maintain a lavish lifestyle, how many weapons have been bought before embarking on this shopping spree, so if dasuki is not in jail yet no weapon will be bought.? And some people will come here and waste time witnessing to the converted |
ayatt:Its better to be a shia muslim than a wahhabi Gumi is as divisive as Nnamdi kanu in his speeches and hates zakzaky so no wisdom can come from such an individual |
that is ideye jr right there, no need for any DNA testing |
deeswagger:Bro lets not support blindly and follow the corpse to the grave like the proverbial fly, when the government is stepping out of line, critisizing is in order, it doesnt make sense of them to warn us of austerity measures in the next year but still maintain their lavish lifestyle, thats taking our collective intelligence for a joyride An APC minister once said they steal because we dont stone them, these guys are happy when you see things as APC vs PDP, that way you will be easily hoodwinked while they do their thing Enabling them live off your selective amnesia |
Eyekandi:The cars are systematicaly converted to private cars by auctioning them to themselves for ridiculous prices as low as 10k in somme cases and new ones used to replace, then the cycle continues |
Jexyme:Trust me when i say this, armoured corp, bauchi received the last shipment of weapons during gej tenure, till now, no other supply has been made |
