The IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) seized two oil tankers in the Persian Gulf |
President Trump will make a statement today at 7:00 PM Washington time. |
The conclusion reached by the “Green Prince,” Mosab Hassan Yousef, after comparing the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq (2003) with a hypothetical military action against Iran today: • Direct military regime change is beyond the capacity of today’s superpowers • Such an attempt would almost certainly end in catastrophic failure The realistic alternative: • Abandon fantasies of quick intervention • Intensify targeted sanctions • Freeze overseas assets of regime elites • Impose strict oil-export embargoes • Apply sustained economic and informational pressure to financially suffocate the IRGC Let internal forces do the work: • Economic collapse • Water scarcity • Growing popular discontent Over time, these pressures can erode the regime from within, giving the Iranian people space to bring change on their own terms, while avoiding a power vacuum, civil war, or regional explosion. This is the message President Trump is hearing from many of his advisers. As I have said all along: The ayatollah regime is not disappearing anytime soon. Its end will not come through the strength of a mighty military, but through the supernatural power of the God of Israel. That outcome belongs to Ezekiel’s prophetic account of “The Next War.” |
Report: Sources "in the know" on the details of last night's meeting between Witkoff and Netanyahu, claim that Netanyahu made it clear to the US special envoy that if the US does not address the ballistic missile issue, whether by strikes or talks, ISRAEL will handle it itself. (Yair Goldblat) |
Tamir Morag: “It’s been a fascinating 24 hours on the Iranian front - both on the ground and behind the scenes. Here is a breakdown of what happened, what we can learn, and whether the Iranians have crossed that fine line between courage and stupidity. The Strategy: Posturing Before the Negotiation In short, the Iranians are attempting to bully Trump, signaling that they aren't intimidated by him ahead of the negotiations starting this weekend. However, they are doing so clumsily, failing to account for the combative nature of the current White House resident. Key Incidents on the Ground The Tanker Confrontation: The most significant event was a failed attempt by the IRGC to seize an American oil tanker using six fast boats. The tanker managed to escape and link up with a U.S. Navy warship. This is a direct "poke in the eye" to Trump at a critical moment - a reckless move that may not have been fully thought through. The Drone Interception: Almost simultaneously, an Iranian Shahed-129 drone was intercepted by an F-35C as it approached the USS Abraham Lincoln. This likely wasn't an attack attempt, but rather an effort to locate the carrier after it went "dark" (turned off its transponders). Regardless, it has spiked tensions further. The Diplomatic Front: Demands and Delusions While these military provocations occur, Iran is setting conditions as if it holds the upper hand. According to various reports, they are suddenly demanding moving the talks from Turkey to Oman, and excluding Arab nations from the process to deal with the Americans one-on-one. At this rate, they might soon demand Trump make a pilgrimage to the Khomeini Mausoleum. The Bottom Line All of this is designed to send one message: "We aren't afraid of you; you should be more afraid of a conflict than we are." Does Trump see it that way? Highly doubtful. It is far more likely he views this as a "set-up for a spike" - an opportunity to strike back even harder.” |

Yocheved Gold was 13 when Nazi officials asked her to hand flowers to Hitler at the 1936 Olympics. She refused. She later helped found Kibbutz Saad, worked 40 years as a nurse, and survived the horrors of Oct 7 at age 100. She passed away at 102 - a Jewish hero who never backed down. May her memory be a blessing.

Ali Shamkhani, senior advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran: One of our conditions for negotiations is that it must be limited to the nuclear issue only. We can discuss reducing enrichment from 60% to 20%, but there will be costs. The negotiations must be rational, including avoiding threats and unreasonable demands. ******************* The Iranians are trying to teach the US the art of the deal. The last time the did so, the 12-day war started… |
Ali Shamkhani, an adviser to Khamenei, said Iran is prepared to escalate if diplomacy fails. Shamkhani said Tehran would move from indirect to direct talks with the U.S. only if current negotiations succeed, stressing that any dialogue would be limited strictly to the nuclear issue. Asked about Khamenei’s warning that a future war would have regional consequences, Shamkhani said a wider conflict would be triggered by enemy military deployments and would reach even the most distant locations from which threats against Iran originate. When questioned on whether Israel would be targeted if the U.S. attacks Iran, Shamkhani said Washington and Israel are indistinguishable in such a scenario. “If the U.S. attacks, Israel will be involved, and we will respond accordingly,” he said. Shamkhani added that while the U.S. and Israel depend heavily on air power, Iran’s response plans are different and include the capabilities needed to counter such attacks. (Open Source Intel)

Opposition leader Yair Lapid after his meeting today with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "The entire State of Israel is united against Iran. "There are no disagreements between us about the importance of dealing with this threat. "It is important that Tehran knows that the State of Israel stands united against the regime's terror." Lapid is a bitter political opponent of Netanyahu. This current show of unity could very well signal that something big is about to happen.

The United States operates only two such aircraft worldwide. Humanitarian status is not immunity. Due diligence saves lives. Turns out Doctors Without Borders has something to hide. Rather than accepting transparency, meant to protect all parties, it prefers to withdraw from Gaza. Given they employed terrorists we suppose this is understandable. We will ensure the relatively little medical work they did is covered by the agencies willing to ensure not to give refuge to terrorists.

An Iranian diplomat to the Washington Post: "No negotiation is possible in the current situation with the US. Trump's conditions for negotiation are unreasonable and cannot be discussed." Western sources say that since Trump sided with the protesters in Iran - a war with the US is perceived by the regime as an existential threat. |
Wall Street Journal: The U.S. military is prepared to carry out limited strikes in Iran, but not the decisive strike that President Trump wants. An attack is not expected in the near term. |

💥 BOOM 💥 Iran just informed Egypt of its absolute rejection of the American conditions. Tehran warned that if necessary, it may attack targets across the region. (Abu Saleh) |
American deterrence? The Iranian foreign minister is trying hard to stop an American strike. He just spoke on the phone with the presidents of Turkey and the UAE. Simultaneously, the Iranian president just said that his country prefers a dialog over a military confrontation. |
People tell me I have no right to criticize the delay of a U.S. strike on Iran because such operations take time to plan and execute. I never criticized that. On the contrary, I am glad the president halted a strike that was already underway once he realized the region was not prepared for the scale of Iran’s response. In my opinion, the real failure came earlier. The leader of the free world prematurely called on the Iranian people to rise up, take to the streets, and seize institutions - while promising that help was on the way. That call emboldened hundreds of thousands to act. More than 40,000 - mostly young and unarmed Iranians - were then slaughtered by a ruthless regime when that promised help did not arrive. The strike now being prepared appears to be a response to the massacre itself. That is the tragic irony. The “chicken and egg” dilemma applies - but the cost was paid in Iranian blood. This breaks my heart. I genuinely love the Iranian people and grieve for them. Unlike most of the Palestinian population and their leaders, the Iranian people do not seek the destruction of others. They do not want to replace anyone. They simply want to live in peace. Amir T |

The Pentagon: Negotiations for a deal with Iran have definitively failed. A significant plan for an attack on Iran has been formulated at the Pentagon. |
Some of the options presented to President Trump - American forces conducting raids inside Iran - President Trump has not yet decided which option he prefers. A ground raid option could include actions by American forces that would severely damage/destroy facilities of the Iranian nuclear program that were not hit during Operation With the Lion Cub - According to official sources, President Trump is taking an approach to Iran similar to the one he took with Venezuela - President Trump also has some motivation to target the Iranian leadership, who tried to harm him In ISRAEL, there is pressure for a third option - Israel wants the US to join it in a renewed strike on the ballistic missile program, with Israeli intelligence saying the program has been extensively rebuilt since Operation Rising Lion.
