Senator Lindsey Graham, considered close to Donald Trump, published a post on X in which he wrote: There is no bigger threat to world order than the Iranian ayatollah’s religious Nazi regime that wantonly kills its people, supports international terrorism and has American blood on its hands. The death blow to the ayatollah is going to be a combination of the incredible patriotic bravery of the protestors, and decisive action by President Trump. The protestors go to the streets unarmed, risking their lives because they believe President Trump has their backs. The tipping point of this long journey will be President Trump’s resolve. No boots on the ground, but unleashing holy hell -- as he promised -- on the regime that has trampled every red line. A massive wave of military, cyber and psychological attacks is the meat and bones of “help is on the way.” What am I looking for? Destroy the infrastructure that allows the massacre and slaughter of the Iranian people, and take down the leaders responsible for the killing. The Iranian people’s long nightmare will soon be over. What are the potential targets for a U.S. strike in Iran if it were to choose to do so? 1. Military targets related to Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs including all the missile cities hidden under the ground. 2. The Basij - one of the five branches of the IRGC, responsible for paramilitary support, internal security, law enforcement, and moral policing. The Basij is infamous for violently suppressing dissent and brutally cracking down on Iranian protesters. 3. Government facilities such as the parliament, state television and radio headquarters, and the presidential palace. 4. Critical infrastructure including oil refineries, oil depots, airports, and seaports. 5. Targeted elimination of regime leadership, including senior IRGC commanders, the supreme leader, the president, and members of the Assembly of Experts and the Guardian Council. If President Trump chooses to keep the ayatollah regime intact, he will focus on targets 1 and 2. If he chooses to topple the regime, it will require targets 1, 2, 3, and 5. If he chooses to leave Iran powerless and in ruins, all five categories would be targeted. 1 Like |

The assessment in Israel is that Trump will attack Iran, and soon. And it will not be a symbolic strike, but a strong, determined attack aimed at shaking the regime to the point of collapse so the Iranian people can finish the job of bringing down the ayatollahs. Hesitation at this point could spell disaster. Without external intervention, the current uprising could end in a massacre by regime forces and further entrench the Islamists, while at the same time eroding the trust of the Iranian people in America and Israel.
