As of now I do not see an imminent strike against Iran after it was called off on January 14. Trump is very much likely to wait till all assets are in place. AQ |
🚨BREAKING - Trump and Netanyahu discussed the situation in Iran during a phone call on Thursday evening - Axios |
🚨BREAKING - Initial reports coming in that mossad's chief is meeting with US President Donald Trump. |
I have a few words to say. Trump has not backed down from the attack. He is only planning something bigger than the plans presented to him so far. Don't try to fall asleep like Trump is trying to put the Iranians to sleep. Another interesting fact: The White House confirms that President Trump had a conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday. ISL |
🚨ISRAEL BELIEVES THE UNITED STATES HAS NOT ABANDONED PLANS TO STRIKE IRAN, BUT HAS ADJUSTED THE TIMING. |
Iran Mohsen Rezaee "Trump thinks one strike will end the story? If we enter a state of war, it will create serious problems for the US, no American base will be safe and there will be no ceasefire." "They do not understand which country they are dealing with." |
Mohsen Rezaei: “Trump has said his hand is on the trigger. We will cut off his hand and his finger. You do not pay attention to the restraint and strategic patience we have shown. Stop right now. Step back, otherwise none of your bases in the region will be safe.”

Lindsey Graham: “I am traveling to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team at this crucial time in the history of the Middle East. The goal is to build on the historic opportunities created by President Trump’s unprecedented leadership, to stand up to evil, and to support the people who are sacrificing for freedom. The Trump-Netanyahu alliance has thus far been one of the strongest partnerships in the history of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and I am hopeful it will pay dividends in the near future. We live in a time of great consequence with the Middle East on the verge of previously unimaginable change. Standing together and following through on our commitments only makes us stronger.”

Sources in Iran claim that former President Hassan Rouhani and former Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif were arrested by the authorities a few days ago. According to the claims, the two are identified with the reformist stream and support rapprochement with the West. |
UN Ambassador Mike Waltz: Trump is a man of action, not endless talk like we see at the UN. He has made it clear that all options are on the table to stop the slaughter.

When peaceful Alawites, Druze, Christians, Kurds in Syria, and Iranian protesters are massacred by their own regimes, the world remains silent. Yet when murderous Gazans are killed in a war they themselves initiated, the world erupts in protest. It has never been about human lives or human rights. It has always been about hatred of Jews. That is why Israel must embrace Balaam’s prophetic words: “For from the top of the rocks I see him, And from the hills I behold him; There! A people dwelling alone, Not reckoning itself among the nations.” (Numbers 23:9) |
Senator Lindsey Graham: Every indication that I’ve seen says that the Iranian regime’s killing of protestors is still very much in full swing. The death toll is mounting by the hour. Hoping that help is on the way. ******************* From “help is on the way” to “hoping that help is on the way”

Hypocrisy: Iran sent a letter to the UN Security Council complaining about protesters who call the government terrorists and about the killing of Iranians and security forces. (Tzvi Yehezkeli)

Were the last 48 hours part of a Trump genius move? He pushed the system to its limits. The Iranians shifted into a defensive posture developed from lessons learned during the 12-day June war - relocating senior officials to secure locations, activating secret emergency frequency alternatives, and implementing additional contingency measures. Convinced, like much of the world, that an attack was imminent, they fully exposed their newly trained emergency procedures at every level. Once it became clear that this was a deception, they were left without the time or flexibility to execute an alternative set of protocols. While Iran believed the moment of truth had arrived, the Americans and their partners were closely observing how Iran responds under pressure and how its updated emergency procedures differ from those used during Operation Rising Lion. And now? Now the Americans are ready.. |
A 4.2 earthquake struck the Dead Sea area in Israel. |
Trump to NBC: Every action in Iran must be swift and focused - and not ignite a war that will take weeks or months |
As much as I admire Reza Pahlavi’s vision for a new Iran, it is clear that President Trump is not in the business of installing leaders. The Maduro case clearly illustrates how he believes such situations should be handled. Just as he did not install Venezuela’s opposition leader, Machado, he will not do so in Iran with Pahlavi. This is disappointing, but it reflects the reality of realpolitik - the conduct of diplomatic or political policy based primarily on practical considerations and existing circumstances, rather than on ideological, moral, or ethical principles. Reza Pahlavi: In security and foreign policy, Iran’s nuclear military program will end. Support for terrorist groups will cease immediately. A free Iran will work with regional and global partners to confront terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, and extremist Islamism. In diplomacy, relations with the United States will be normalized and our friendship with America and her people will be restored. The State of Israel will be recognized immediately. We will pursue the expansion of the Abraham Accords into the Cyrus accords bringing together a free Iran, Israel, and the Arab world. |
The question is no longer if the United States will strike Iran, but when. The only remaining “if” concerns whether such action would trigger regime change. The options presented to President Trump have overwhelmingly argued against pursuing regime change through direct military intervention. His advisers maintain that any regime change must come from within Iran and should not be imposed by foreign force. The events in Venezuela prove this more clearly than anything else: Trump’s primary objective is to halt immediate bloodshed and compel hostile regimes to bend to U.S. strategic interests - without assuming responsibility for overthrowing governments. |
US envoy Steve Witkoff: On behalf of President Trump, we announce the launch of Phase B of the President's 20-point plan to end the conflict in Gaza, moving from a ceasefire to disarmament, technocratic governance, and reconstruction. Phase B establishes a temporary technocratic Palestinian administration in the Gaza Strip, the National Committee for Gaza Administration (NCAG), and begins full disarmament and reconstruction of Gaza, primarily dismantling the weapons of all unauthorized groups. The United States expects Hamas to fully meet its commitments, including the immediate return of the last murdered hostage (Ran Gualy). Failure to do so will have serious consequences. It is important to note that Phase A provided historic humanitarian aid, maintained the ceasefire, returned all living hostages and the remains of 27 out of 28 hostages who were killed. We deeply thank Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar for their essential mediation efforts, which have enabled all progress so far. |

ISRAEL holds a card it has kept in reserve - The ability to paralyze two-thirds of Iran’s economy in a single strike. All it would take is a handful of precision bombs on critical oil infrastructure, and the bottom would fall out of an already struggling economy overnight. ISRAEL kept this card during the June war as a deterrent: even if the Iranians believed they had more missiles than Israel had interceptors, they knew Israel could make them bleed far more.
