The number of hidden comments on the first page shows how bad the comments on this subject may have been. Seun and his mods should not relent in sanitising this forum. Earlier This year, seun made a very strong statement about tribal slurs etal. Eight months down the line, things have gone bad again. I remember vividly how some nairalanders mocked and challenged him that he would not be able to keep to his words, though I was shocked then at their statement, but not anymore. |

Paystack: It's even uglier than I imagined. What a Sh!thile... just one roundabout in all of this state? Bros. There are a few others. Apart from the Beger Roundabout captured in the post. Tombia roundabout. There's also Imgbi roundabout. Then the Glory Drive roundabout (the biggest of all). There's another one going towards Govt house, just behind BMU. These are the ones I can remember for now I'm not sure the goal of the op was to show us roundabouts... |

Bassey is too sluggish whenever he has the ball. No sense of urgency from him at all. It also seems the team is built around Lookman. Most balls are played towards him in this match and the last, without very good results. |

Elzazzi: You can ask. That place no dey ever get light. The students normally charge at those shops that charges phone. To charge a phone is 150 naira. I don't doubt you bro. It's just so bad. |

casualobserver: 1). Nigerian workers are unproductive. The reason they earn so little is because 3,4,5 people are doing the work of 1 person so they share the salary of 1 person. The GDP per capita of Nigeria is approximately N150K a month. This is the average worker not the minimum n wage worker. How can the average worker contribute N150k a month to the economy and the lowest paid. (With a much lower output) expects to be paid anything close?
2: I will reproduce a tweet I saw earlier today. The long and short is look at the federal allocation of most states divide by a minimum wage of even N100k. It will tell you how many workers a state can afford to employ assuming it spend no money on anything else. No roads, no schools, no nothing. It means a state like Oyo with Feb FAAC of N10b can only afford to employ 100,000 workers across all its schools universities, ministries etc etc…assuming all of its workers are minimum wage workers and it does not spend on anything else. if it had 100k workers to start with, at N150k minimum wage it will have to sack 40,000 workers.
https://x.com/dmightyangel/status/1797375682311495887?s=46&t=zIh8l0Y5x1WkbEiRY9Q56Q[/quote]Does all this long epistle justify the little pay they get? Not to mention the poor working conditions and so on...
What about the govt itself?
ICPC & EFFC.
ROAD SAFETY & VIO (state owned).
IMMIGRATION & CUSTOMS
POLICE & NSCDC
The list goes and on. You can see that the govt at the center is the one encouraging duplications. If they (the govt) invests in regular training and reorientation of it's workforce, don't you think that things will be a lot better in view of the points you raised? |

Saviourk: Seems you didn't read about the shut down of national grid? It seems you didn't also read my post. In a different thread, someone said they have light in Abuja this morning. He also mentioned that the last time this nationwide strike happened, states like Kaduna, Nasarawa, Niger and the FCT had light. With the foregoing, you should be able to understand the spirit behind this thread. |

Following the nationwide strike and shutting down of the national grid early this morning. Do you have light?
Over here in some part of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, we had light all through yesterday afternoon till I slept off at midnight just to wake up by past 6am without light.
So please let us know the situation in your area. Please mention the name of the city, community, town and state.
Regards 😊

As a band a power consumer, I'd really like to know if the use of stabilisers for household electronics like deep freezers result in high power consumption...
Please I need to be guided. The tariff hike is not funny at all.

The Malian team is super fast and chokes Nigeria with attacks whenever they lose the ball. They are also technically better having won almost all the 50-50 contest. Their defensive set-up is also good this first half. |
