I feel so bad to see news like this. It is unacceptable to attack anyone or even kill the person because of his tribe or political alignment.

Before watching the video I was troubled by the comments and all that.

However, after watching it, I strongly feel that it's a script poorly played out. It's so fake.

That doesn't meant I, in anyway support the attacks in the SE. God forbid.

Stop branding a whole tribe because of the actions of a few.

YoungLionken:
The Igbos are unarguably the worse when it comes to human relationships. They usually go extreme (always top) in everything that they're involved in; drugs, ritual, madam/housemaid, love/romantic union, cheating in business (a typical Igbo person would double cross you, no matter what. They don't even trust themselves) and the one I hate the most is thinking they're wiser/smarter (with their know-it-all attitude) than everyone else..

You will hardly see such a witchcraft attitude with a typical Yoruba, Hausa, Edo, Fulani, Ikwerre, etc landlords/landladies, no matter how mean they may be..

MODIFIED
For the nincompoops quoting me negatively. Stating the obvious doesn't mean I'm tribalistic. Same way you know about the good and dirty characters of other tribes in Nigeria, is the same way we know about yours. Your victim mentality/blame game is no longer working..

I didn't even mention how you guys are quick to undermine/disrespect people, painting Nigeria black all over the world because of Biafra, yet tarnishing the same image with your criminal acts. Trust be told your brothers and sisters are the major reason why some countries see Nigerians as terrible people (I know you would disagree and throw tantrums, because that's your signature but who cares undecided)...
How would you type such words and claim not to be a tribal bigot. Consider the following comment.👇👇

BoldBrainz:
It's not a general concept.

Back in the university days, I had a landlady who was actually from Enugu and married a Warri man who worked in another state. Woman was darn nice! Not just to me, but other sane tenants. She was nice to the point we often had beers together and she made it a point of duty to give me at least one meal in a week. She'll never let any tenant complain about an issue more than once. Because of her warmness, no tenant ever considered stressing her with rents even. I left the compound because I'm not one to live in an environment for more than 18 months.

These things are just individual traits and not peculiar to gender or tribes.
Hope you get the message.👆👆👆

And you should allow sane people to want normal stuff like a room big enough for 2 people and a damn bed to sleep on. Be weird but don’t try and demonise people who want normal things.
Na childishness dey worry you. If you know what really matters in life then bed frame and mattress in someone else's home won't be your problem.

If carefully checked you are still being fed by your parents or you are squatting with someone.

franchasofficia:
My brother I wonder oh.

My late in-law (elder sis hubby), who was almost a millionaire doesn't sleep on bed frame, his mattress is as high and big as a king size bed and that didn't make him poor.

When I was single and struggling, I had a friend who worked with Chevron then, though on contract but he was earning huge salary back then. Funny enough he lived in a 2bedroom flat and his rooms had all their mattresses on the floor then and this guy was earning around NGN1,200,000 then, around 2012.

I am still finding it so difficult to understand how people see the issue of a single guy keeping his mattress on the floor as a very bad thing that signifies poverty lol

How many single guys in Nigeria have their mattress on a bed frame to start with?

I can understand married man keeping his mattress on the floor as not cool due to women and their fantasy life, but I see nothing bad if a man decides to keep his mattress on the floor by choice
People make issues where there's none.

I pay for a two bedroom flat apartment in the capital city of the state I live. One of the most expensive areas of town. I'm married and my wife prefers to sleep on the mattress without bed frame, how's that poverty?

Whatever soothes someone should be respected as their choice. Period. It's my house, my bed, my mattress and my family. We are cool with it.
FamilyRe: 'A Man Who Lives In This Kind Of Apartment Shouldn't Be Thinking Of Marriage' by Rikze:
Brandiebird:
You’re the weirdo sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Some weird people on this thread romanticising poverty as if it’s noble. If a grown man and woman sleep on a mattress on the floor then they are poor and hopefully they will make more money. If they can afford a bed but prefer to sleep on a mattress on the floor then they have issues.
You are entitled to your opinion, however that doesn't make your view correct.

Where is it written that a married man must have his mattress on a bed frame? Or that it's only single men that can have theirs on the floor?

Abeg shift. Allow people do what they are cool with. Having ones mattress in a bed frame doesn't define wealth or poverty.
FamilyRe: 'A Man Who Lives In This Kind Of Apartment Shouldn't Be Thinking Of Marriage' by Rikze:
IconicR:
Is that mattress on the floor? Because any man whose mattress is still on the floor is not ready for marriage.
I'm married for over nine years now, yet my mattress have always been on the floor.

Funny thing is that the last apartment (two bedroom flat) we moved into, the mattress is still on the floor because my wife had to personally move the bed frame to the second room leaving our mattress on the floor, she likes it that way.

So please stop sounding stupid both matrimonially and otherwise.

In your bid to tow the tribal path, you failed to congratulate the teenager just to rush and mention Igbo. After doing so, hope you now feel good.

Since you have sympathy for the Igbos because they were disgraced, as you claim, why not congratulate and rejoice with them now that one of their own has made them proud?
