From age 23, how many many prospects have you rejected, ignored or trashed? How many marriage proposals have you rejected before now? The 'boy' you rejected, deflated, humiliated .. yesterday is a made-man today and have move on to more responsible and appreciative lady. However, I wish you the best! |
Just complete the reconstruction already before hyping. I used the road last week and there is still much to be done. |
The man may not even be aware he fathered a child way back. Happened to a friend recently who is based in abroad. We had DNA test done to confirm the claim and it turned positive. My guy who is happily married with three kids (17, 15 and twelve) then discovered that he had a 25yrs old daughter who unfortunately was 'uneducated'. The 'strange' woman claimed he never told my guy of the pregnancy because then was just starting out (according to her family) and without much means hence she pinned it (then) on her present husband who she met when she was already a month gone and severed relationship and contacts with my G. The good thing is my friend took full responsibility (after the DNA confirmation) and the girl is better off today. Things happen though! Women can be very strange sometimes! I will he best of luck in locating her father. |
Lagos happened to the fellow! |
Roasted Red Yam with bitter-leaf sauce! |
"I don’t complain, but I also don’t want to ignore what I’m seeing." You have ignored the 'seeing' so far. Be very sure before making the final commitment you are about to get into. |
Dude should thank his stars for the timely revelation of the death-trap he almost got hooked for 'life'! |
Very unfortunate that this is being done by a supposedly democratic govt! Very unfortunate indeed! |
Hope you birth at least one child for him while you are securing the future of your present 3 kids. |
Yet the government remains mute, working/living in constant denial of the gory but preventable reality. |
It has since moved from 'random' regular, premeditated, pre-notified, and unnecessary killings! to re brain54: |
LOL! what makes a "good lady' Years back a colleague asked her GF of 6years to marry him. She declined on the note that she (daughter of a senior Customs Officer) will not marry the son of 'Eleran' - Butcher. Meanwhile they studied same course in same school at same time. Outside the turndown with degrading excuse, she was a 'good lady' that my pal truly loved and believed loved him in return. 7 years later, she tried a come-back but my guy already had his family and being a responsible man, declined the subtle moves and kept the relationship at platonic level Today, my colleague's first child has graduated while the other two are at different levels of study in higher institutions, while hanty is not married yet. Agreed there are some exceptions but most of these 'ladies' are often economical with the truth of how they turn out to be 'old maid'. Best of luck to her though. I pray she finds an husband and have the will to keep him. koladata: |

The circle of political insanity is spinning again! The vocal few, perceiving to benefit from the general mess Will forever sing the praise of her oppressor - may you rule and reign for ever As it was done With Abacha - 'Life President' With Obasanjo - 'Third Term' So spews out the circle of political insanity, even when we ought to know better Mark you, history is the future, when you fail your lessons. |
Same God directed many leaders to wage war. Pope miss this one. |
She has the right to say "No" and should be so respected by all. If by happenstance the relationship continues or revives again, the young man should just enjoy himself knowing fully well that there is no future between them. Nothing spoil at all. |
How many times have you reached out to her since then? What effort(s) have you made to have a one-on-one chat with your supposed friend from way back? Until you have done all of the above and more, you have no basis for this tacit attempt to malign your 'friend'. |
May her soul rest in peace. This one of the reasons I strongly dislike men who abuse their wives. Birthing carry too much wahala for women. Kudos to all mothers here and out there. May you live long in peace and good health to enjoy your families. |
I see no issues with his specifications, very basic. I have a fried who married at 51 and had the first child at 52, while his wife na under 30. The young man is good to go and will soon have them applying in droves. Goodluck bro. |
Their daughter is not getting married soon. Na the virgin he-goat you take know say na skit list, not real! |
Every woman needs a man of her own. Even the noisy naija 'feminists' go grab am once the opportunity show. You can confirm from hanty Linda to clear your doubt ![]() |
Trying to make a scene after the incident! Finding it hard to believe her though! |
What is the Pastor doing apart from collecting Offering & Tithe? Anyway, you have been forewarned of the external influence that lies ahead if you chose to proceed! Besides, oga pastor is not concerned as to what his 'spiritual' daughter is bringing to the marriage table! Get a lady that will appreciate you for who you are and work with you for better future. |
Wadume? Are you implying that the Muslims are stagnated in Medieval era? samwash: |
Direct your pains to C-in-C! For your info, the US are on ground for advisory services but where Naija fails to take such advice, blame yourself biko. biggz82: |
Congratulations to the banks that made it so far and more grace to those hoping to clique the mark before/at deadline. The more banks that scales through, the less the job cuts and other collateral loss that usually occasion such recapitalization! |
Whosoever diggeth a pit, shall fall into it. Meanwhile. 72*8 = 576. Hope those Iranian Commanders they left via IDF issued Visas never empty the virgins! |
Hearty well wishes to the sharks and other big fishes in that river. May they have a scrumdiddlyumptious time with the divine provisions! |
