It's the truth though. A friend's brother had to change his state of origin to Kwara state just because he chose Unilorin and he was advised to do so if he wants an admission into the school.

In fact, I already lost hope when I saw someone who scored 180 sitting to write post utme, I thought the post utme was for candidates that scored 200 and above for top universities. she's a kwara indigene though and a muslim. It's you that should stop saying nonsense because I'm speaking from experience. In fact, I hate the school.

Their cut off has always been 180 aftermath of 2011 or so, so she deserved to sit for the exam. Even last year, I know personally a girl from OSUN state with 2 Christian names in her names, and you know the worst part of it? She scored 188 and yet was offered admission. This girl is here on mairaland but I've forgotten her moniker. What do you have to say on this?

And you shouldn't let hatred for the school becloud your objectivity , things like this happen in every school.

The question is why? A school should always admit on merit, right? I know for a fact that unilorin don't admit on merit because if they do, there's no reason why someone with 180 would get admitted yet I didn't. The lecturer man even told me that the school consider state of origin and names. He stated that if he was in a science department, he would have fought for my admission because of my score but there was little he could do.

Yes, a reputable school should admit on merit, but you know this is Nigeria where reverse is the case. This sort of thing happen in every public institution in and it's not synonymous to unilorin alone, that's why we have half-baked graduates all around. Like I said earlier on, the man was just finding excuse and nothing more.

Another foolish thing about unilorin is their post utme questions. I don't know if it has now been changed but then it was about political question about Kwara and few English. There was no Chemistry, Bio nor Physics. It was just full of crap!

The funny thing was when I met with the man whom I was directed to help me, he stated that regardless of my scores, my name and state are the paramount things Ilorin consider for admission, he even told the other guy who came to him for help to not worry because he's a muslim as judged by his name, suffice to say the post utme was full of crappy general questions about Kwara and Ilorin with few English questions..Can you imagine the sort of questions set for a science student like myself. I even scored above 50 (54 to be precise) in the post utme yet I wasn't admitted whereas the muslim girl who sat beside me and scored 180 got admitted into the school. Why did you think people change their state of origin to Kwara state whenever they choose unilorin?Tbh, I hated that school because they wasted my year despite my effort in that particular year, thank God I got admitted into another school (Uniben) in the following year.

The religion affiliation in your post is a lie. They don't look at names to see whether you are a Muslim or not before they offer You admission. If that was the case, I would have been there because aside having 2 Islamic names in my name, I'm an indigene from ilorin south, and yet wasn't offered admission even after meeting every criteria.

What I think matters in unilorin is strong connection in the school and not really religious and indigenous affiliations that people ignorantly attach to their admission process.

In your own case I think the man was just trying to find excuse for his failure.

Unilorin is generally hard for anyone, even those of us that are from ilorin. Only God knows how they do their admission. KWASU and Kwara poly are easy to gain admission for non even kwarans talk less indigenes.

Natural Selection started as an organism ( cells) and mutate into various traits, the reason humans have two eyes with other animals was because of limitation in evolutionary process while some specie evolve in different traits like the spider that has 6-10 eyes, some animals eyes have two but tiny or large.

I'm not an evolutionary biologist to explain in scientific way, but I understand the whole theory.

How can you explain our complicated eyes with this natural selection?

Spiritual atheist? That's illogical. , Atheism is about the rejection of believing in supernatural entity. If there are spiritual atheist he/she falls under agnostic atheism or agnostic theism.
Being an athiest and believing in supernatural is illogical and contradictory.
God is a supernatural entity and athiest don't believe in it. Don't confuse atheism with agnostic theism.

If an atheist said he/she believes in supernatural like souls, ghost, demons and cant prove it then he/she has shoot himself in the foot. There might be spiritual atheist I'm not denying that as many of them use the universe, stars for their spirituality, but the ones that claim they dont believe in diety but believe in souls, ghost, demon are contradicting themselves.

I watched a video on YouTube, about a spiritual priest and an atheist in a debate, the atheist challenged the priest to kill him with his supernatural power in front t of the camera, the priest did all his jitsu, voodoo but the athiest did die he was just laughing. Now that's a public challenge which a spiritual person can't prove so why won't athiest discard supernatural?

He wasn't the one that gave him the life and so cannot possibly take it just like that. I really don't see any biggy in this.
