I don't have all the details but from what I heard earlier, Tinubu never supported him. He was prevailed upon when his dream to run with Buhari was not supported. If that was true, then Tinubu didn't nominate Osibanjo but he had support him in the last minute so as not to lose out completely.

3 names were presented to Tinubu and he picked Osinbajo. He could have picked someone else, maybe Senator Mamora, and Mamora would have been VP today, but he didn’t, he instead picked Osinbajo.

I’m not even saying he shouldn’t contest against Tinubu, but it’s not okay if he’s brushing him aside like he did here. Nevertheless, na all politics. It’s a dirty game.
