With 25k, u can buy a 2G RAM phone on Aliexpress. Make sure that u read the feedback well. There are cheap and good phones there. Free shipping and delivery would be around 3weeks.
Are you really sure? With this dollar exchange rate hitting the roof, getting a 2gig ram phone on aliexpress would be impossible for 25k.

Foreign AffairsFake Us Embassy In Ghana Discovered After Operating For 10 Years!! by ringi82(op): 5:53pm On Dec 06, 2016
The US State Department said until it was shut down, the sham embassy was housed in a run¬down, pink two¬storeyed building with a corrugated iron roof and flew a US flag outside. It also had a portrait of President Barack Obama.
“It was not operated by the United States government, but by figures from both Ghanaian and Turkish organised crime rings and a Ghanaian attorney practicing immigration and criminal law,” the State Department said in a statement.
Turkish citizens, who spoke English and Dutch, posed as consular officers and staff in the operation. Investigations also uncovered a fake Dutch embassy, the State Department said. The crime ring issued fraudulently obtained but legitimate US visas and false identification documents, including birth certificates at a cost of $6,000 each.
During raids that led to a number of arrests, authorities also seized authentic and counterfeit Indian, South African and Schengen Zone visas and 150 passports from 10 different countries along with a laptop and smart phones.
The statement did not say how the gang obtained the authentic visas and the State Department did not say how many people were believed to have illegally entered the United States and other countries using visas issued by the crime ring, which used bribery to operate unhindered.
“The criminals running the operation were able to pay off corrupt officials to look the other way, as well as obtain legitimate blank documents to be doctored,” the statement said. There was no immediate comment from Ghana’s Criminal Investigations Division. Source ; http://thenigerialawyer.com/fake-us-embassy-in-ghana-discovered-after-oper

The name of the snake is Black Mamba

You don't wanna come in contact with that evil

In 2009, i did an experiment with the poison extracted from it's mouth, i mixed it with human blood, the result was scary, in just 2 minutes, it froze the blood

And for the people saying that it's a king cobra, how old are you guys ?? Even a 4 year old kid can tell you how cobras look like but you guys stupidity is amazing

Cobras have flat hooded heads

There are no cobras in Nigeria

The only cobra you will find in Africa is the black-necked spitting cobra, and it's only in Mozambique

The second picture i will attach is how a cobra looks like
You are mistaken. What makes you think there are no cobras in Nigeria? I've seen a cobra in the north. It was trapped inside an abandoned and empty swimming pool at the kano campus of the Nigerian law school, bagauda. That was in 2005. We saw it live with its hooded head raised head and ready to strike when we taunted it with stones.
You should also know that black mambas are not necessarily black but got its name originally from its forked black tongue. They are also very scarce in this part of the world, they are mostly seen in East Africa. Source; National Geographic.

Foreign AffairsFormer Cuban Leader, Fidel Castro Dies At 90.- BBC by ringi82(op): 10:11am On Nov 26, 2016
Fidel Castro, Cuba's former president and leader of the Communist revolution, has died aged 90, his brother has said.
"The commander in chief of the Cuban revolution died at 22:29 hours this evening (03:29 GMT Saturday)," President Raul Castro said.
Fidel Castro ruled Cuba as a one-party state for almost 50 years before Raul took over in 2008.
His supporters said he had given Cuba back to the people. But he was also accused of suppressing opposition.
Ashen and grave, President Castro told the nation in an unexpected late night broadcast on state television that Fidel Castro had died and would be cremated later on Saturday.
There would now be several days of national mourning on the island.
Raul Castro ended the announcement by shouting the revolutionary slogan: "Towards victory, always!"
Barring the occasional newspaper column, Fidel Castro had essentially been retired from political life for some time, the BBC's Will Grant in Havana reports.
In April, Fidel Castro gave a rare speech on the final day of the country's Communist Party congress.
He acknowledged his advanced age but said Cuban communist concepts were still valid and the Cuban people "will be victorious".
"I'll soon be 90," the former president said, adding that this was "something I'd never imagined".
"Soon I'll be like all the others, "to all our turn must come," Fidel Castro said.
Castro - who had survived many assassination plots - was the longest serving non-royal leader of the 20th Century.
Castro temporarily handed over power to his brother in 2006 as he was recovering from an acute intestinal ailment.
Raul Castro officially became president two years later.
Fidel Castro's key dates
1926: Born in the south-eastern Oriente Province of Cuba
1953: Imprisoned after leading an unsuccessful rising against Batista's regime
1955: Released from prison under an amnesty deal
1956: With Che Guevara, begins a guerrilla war against the government
1959: Defeats Batista, sworn in as prime minister of Cuba
1961: Fights off CIA-sponsored Bay of Pigs invasion by Cuban exiles
1962: Sparks Cuban missile crisis by agreeing that USSR can deploy nuclear missiles in Cuba
1976: Elected president by Cuba's National Assembly
1992: Reaches an agreement with US over Cuban refugees
2006: Hands over reins to brother Raul due to health issues, stands down as president two years later
Cuba's revolutionary leader
Throughout the Cold War, Fidel Castro was a thorn in Washington's side.
An accomplished tactician on the battlefield, he and his small army of guerrillas overthrew the military leader Fulgencio Batista in 1959 to widespread popular support.
Within two years of taking power, he declared the revolution to be Marxist-Leninist in nature and allied the island nation firmly to the Soviet Union.
Yet, despite the constant threat of a US invasion as well as the long-standing economic embargo on the island, Castro managed to maintain a communist revolution in a nation just 90 miles (145km) off the coast of Florida.
Despised by his critics as much as he was revered by his followers, he outlasted 10 US presidents and defied scores of attempts on his life by the CIA.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Castro "one of the most iconic personalities of the 20th century" saying his country mourned his loss. Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said Castro was a "great friend" of Mexico.
But in Miami, where there is a large Cuban community, there have been celebrations in some parts of the city. Source ; http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-38114953?post_id=10211282846810674_10211282847130682#_=_
Christianity EtcOlukoya Set To Lose Mountain Of Fire Prayer City - Sahara Reporters. by ringi82(op): 7:07am On Nov 24, 2016
Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, is on the verge of losing the vast land on which MFM Prayer City sits.

A court ruling delivered on 12 May by Justice A.A Akinyemi of the Abeokuta Division of the High Court of Ogun State stated that the Adejonlu family are the bona fide owners of the land on which the famous crusade and camp ground sits in the Ogun State section along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

This implies that Mr. Olukoya's church had bought the land from, and paid, the wrong people. Ownership dispute over the the land began in 2003 and took the form of litigation via two different cases (Suit Nos. AB/60/2003 and AB/61/2003) between the Adejonlu and Oduleye families.

Justice Akinyemi's ruling, exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, declared the Adejonlu family genuine owners of the land situated in Magada, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area, and that they are entitled to the right of occupancy over the land.

Following the ruling handing ownership and right of occupancy to the Adejonlu family, their lawyer, Mr. R. O. Sadik, told SaharaReporters that he wrote many letters to Mr. Olukoya for negotiation and settlement. Mr. Sadik said he took the steps because of the profile of the pastor and his church.

One of the letters, sighted by SaharaReporters, was dated 7 July and signed by one Miss Lateefa Sadik for Mr. Sadik's chambers. The letter recalled a meeting held between the legal firm and MFM representatives led by one Pastor Alewi.

The letter then proceeded with demands by the land owners. Notably, the landowners requested the church, assisted by their lawyers, to determine the size and portion of their land on which MFM Prayer City sits. The letter also demanded a payment of N5million per plot to cover the acreage that would be agreed on by the land owners and the church. Similarly, the letter demanded the immediate payment of 40 per cent of the total cost of the acreage agreed upon.

But these demands, Mr. Sadik told SaharaReporters, have been met with indifference. According to him, Mr. Olukoya is unwilling to negotiate with the landowners. He, however, warned that the owners are keen on enforcing the court ruling and taking full possession of the land.

"We have written to Dr. Olukoya over 10 times, and it is like he is not ready for settlement. He set up a committee, which was headed by Pastor Alewi, to look into the matter and our follow-up investigation shows that the report of the committee has got to Dr. Olukoya. But we have not heard any positive comment from him. In fact, his body language does not suggest he is ready to pay any money for the land belonging to my client," Mr. Sadik said. He explained that he met with representatives of the church on 8 October, but Mr. Olukoya was not at the meeting.

"Presently, we are the practical owners of the land, according to the judgment delivered by the Court, but the pastor is unlawfully and illegally using it and selling part of it thereby making money off us while we are not getting anything," alleged Mr. Sadik.
Another party to the matter, Chief Gbolahan Timson (Oba Jagunmolu of Shomolu/Bariga), said he was disappointed by Mr. Olukoya's conduct all through the time of litigation. He also claimed that Mr. Olukoya went back on his promise and his failure to act is affecting the family members.

"The Oduleye family were so greedy, and they were bent on taking over our land. For this reason, they went ahead sue us. We were served the court letter right in the office of Dr. Olukoya, and he said good luck to the winner and that he would settle whoever won the case. He made that statement when the case started 13 years ago. Now that we have won, he decided not to pay us. We explained to him that he paid the wrong party and he should pay our family who are the real owners of the land but he has refused," he said.

He added that Mr. Olukoya is saddened that he may have to pay more for the land. According to Chief Timson, the landowners gave a figure to the church. After receipt of the sum demanded, the General Overseer is not happy with us winning as he is going set up a committee to look into the case, but the committee came up with a much lower sum.

"From the information I got, he wanted to pay the money twice. But now, he is saying he is not paying us any money. I want to get people to talk to him so as to avoid unnecessary rancor like what is happening now. We cannot fight a battle for 13 years and still be begging for our right after winning. The court has declared us winner and the order of the court must be obeyed no matter who you are and what you do for a living," he said.

Africa should get rid of all these things..where was our so called tradition when the white man took us all as slaves.. These things help set us back many thousand years..that is why most of our big strides in development came when we where under our colonial masters.

We keep dwelling on tradition that adds no tangible meaning or advancement to our society at large.
Are you aware the whites have not abandoned their own culture and traditions. The Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth is one of the most influential personalities in the world. Not to mention prince Charles.

I rep class of 2004/Law. All what op said appears strange to me cause non of it existed in our time. It was survival of the fittest then, it was the period when unilorin still had a minicampus at taiwo road ( den of cultists) where art and commercial students are based and the permanent site where the mostly science undergraduates stay, except for a few faculties like law. Faculty of education later joined. Minicampus which was a temporary site was the bubbling campus for organized parties and shows while the permanent site is where you find the SU's, the religious bigots and the bookworms.
Then, if you don't buy lecturers handouts just prepare yourself for carryovers. Getting accommodation was a tug of war. Bed spaces were sold in black market for as high as 20k for a room of 4 and 6k for a room of 8., not to mention those who 'colonize' with you in the night ( you wake up in the midnight and find strangers sleeping beside you!). It was extremely tough then but it was fun. Believe me you will never remain the same when you pass through unilorin in those years (1998/2004 sets). SUG was very active then. I could write a thousand page book about life in unilorin in those early days.

I've known this for ages, it has been part of me. Before I go to work in the morning, I drink 5 sachets of water(2 when I wake up immediately, 2 after doing my morning exercise & 1 on my way out). It is very good if you can cultivate such habit, it helps purify the blood also. I can't remember the last time I had headache nor buy medicine, though it is not all about water but God's grace. I drink close to 12/13 sachets of water everyday, but disadvantage about drinking too much water is that "You Go Urinate Taya.

Drink 2ltrs of water everyday & flee from unnecessary sickness. I LOVE WATER..
Be careful not to drink too much of water. It also has its side effects which may be fatal. You may alter the balance of your body electrolytes which may lead to death when you drink too much.

Everyone waxes nostalgic when they remember their childhoods. If you had a bad childhood, don’t worry I’m about to ruin the ones of those that had good ones.
Growing up in Naija, we had some songs we’ve been singing since we were toddlers. We learnt these songs and joined the multitude that has been singing it wrong for ages.
Here are some songs that many Nigerians have been singing wrong since they were kids:

1. Sandalili Sandalili
Every primary school child from the 90’s knows this song. We sang it and we were proud. But did you know we’ve been singing it all wrong since time immemorial?
“ The correct thing is Standard living, standard living. ”
I wonder how we made the jump from standard living to sandalili.

2. The most excellency is Jesus
This is another song many Christians sing. I bet you will hear this when you go to church on Sunday. The correct wording is:
“ The most excellent king is Jesus. ”
Don’t worry, it is okay to cry.

3. Jangilova epo motor
This was another favourite of us when it comes to playing games. I wonder where we got Jangilova when it is:
“ Jingle over like a motor ”

4. Osingo Osingo, Praise the Lord
This song is actually “O sing my soul, praise the Lord”. But as Nigerians, we have invented our own version lol.

People who don't know jack about sh*t, spew lubbish on this page. Why is it so hard to believe that ND Militants are behind these acts of violence?? I lived in isawo for 6 good years. The territory where the major bunkering was taking place and I lived very much close to the area. I came in when the oil bunkering was just picking up and I was there when it got to the extent of kidnapping, rape, armed robbery and harrasing innocent inhabitants of the area. They were ijaws and have always been ijaws because I have seen them operate through out the years in that area. I was in isawo when they killed the SS men, I even witnessed the brutal killing of 6 police officers in our street by these guys. A lot of Shit went down in my area which was never reported in the media. Go to isawo today and igbolomu (which is also in isawo axis and where most of the killings took place recently), ask any one there and they will tell you without mincing words that it's the ijaws behind the bunkering and killings. The reason why they've flourished for so long was because they were being heavily patronized by transporters and oil tankers on a daily basis and the police then were in cahoots with them. Imagine buying 50 litters of petrol for just N1,500!!! Some of the inhabitants were also guilty of patronizing them as it was really tempting to buy fuel at incredulously cheaper rates. Anybody who lived in isawo oke oko and who is on this forum should confirm this info. Whether they came from ondo or delta is not the issue but one thing is certain, they are IJAWS and not yorubas!!

Why is it that Mohammedans are so despicable?

The woman preaching was commendable, but why did they have to kill her? Or are the only custodians of that scarce commodity called peace the very people who deal in violence?

Let no Mohammedan tell anybody that theirs is the religion of peace and that some miscreants are trying to taint it. If that is the case it's a religion of hateful miscreants, because every bit of bad news involves them. Why is it that Mohammedans fight with Hindus? They fight with Buddhists? They kill Sikhs ? Why are they never at peace with the people around them.

It's not fair. Why is the world subjected to the presence of such violent people? The day the other would religions fight back, that's when Mohammedans will learn to contain their religion.

All the more pity for Nigerians that their president is a Sharia agitator. In all the mischief and grief of normal citizens attacked by Mohammedans his silence has always spoken volumes.
Mr Man, where was it stated that she was killed by your so-called "Mohammedan"?? Why are we so blinded by hate, bigotry and so quick judge others? Because she happened to be preaching when she was killed, you quickly conclude that she was killed by a" Mohammedan" abi? It was reported that her head and breast was cut off, nobody wants to look into the possibility that she might have been killed by ritualists, but because of the mere fact that she was a preacher, we point accusing fingers to 'the usual suspects'.
