I'm learning a lot from this thread. I read a book sometime ago, the book explained that the reason ikwerres don't always tag along as mainstream igbos like those of South East and Delta State was bcoz a controversy happened btw d rivers Igbo(ikwerres) and d mainstream igbos of SE during the Biafra civil war.



Now I understand that controversy was deep-rooted that is why ikwerres find it hard to identify as igbos but deep down and realistically ikwerres are igbos.




Clearly up till date, some ikwerres will never say they are igbos while some will say they are igbos.

The votes for SE and SS go heavy gan. People were still queueing as at 1 am yesterday morning.

In Kano only 859,000 people were accredited to vote out of 6 million.

Votes from Anambra might exceed 1.5 million.. In Rivers, up to 2.5 million votes are expected. Delta up to 1million, and we know who owns those votes..

Traditional politicians who believe in the status will learn seriously in this election..
