On the emergence of Tinubu as APCs flag bearer and the antecedence of the APC, I realize a critical situation is reached and a crucial and objective decision needs to be made. We have a situation where Obi will weaken the PDP and still not win. He will not win because he is only popular amongst educated and upward thinking people who are not a quarter of the rest of the masses up north and even the south in population and a vote for Obi is only a 'statement vote'. It's important in the scheme of things but then catastrophic for the Opportunity Cost of having an APC president who fields an El Rufai for instance. This is the crux of the matter, its Tinubu or Atiku and Obi will make one win directly or indirectly.

My grouse with Atiku is not himself per se because I feel he had been labeled a thief and perceived negatively for a long time which had been his bane in becoming the president and I feel he will like to prove a lot of people wrong. It's the thieves that will follow him to Aso Rock. I feel an iron hand is needed at Aso Rock. Someone who can fire a minister on the spot, order a proper procurement process and such. No soft hand can handle Nigeria and Nigerians only someone who is stubborn and resolute!

That's where Wike comes in. Wike's strength is fearlessness, project execution, tenacity and even integrity, yes, integrity. If you studied the extent of what the Salafists, Fulani bandits, Buhari and his cabal and so on have gone into the marrow of the country, a Wike is the best man for the job. There is something about body language and persona. With his no-nonsense carriage, you want to ask who will send shivers down the spine of these guys and even the Service Chiefs, Wike or Obi? This was same reason we put Buhari there 2015 as an experienced man in the military to handle the insecurities but the reverse became the case.
Besides VP has no strong influence, even a state governor has more influence than a VP, if Wike was a deputy governor nobody will hear his name and if tries to show his head they will press it down, Let's just tell ourselves the truth.
If voting Obi is a waste of vote, I rather do that and have my conscience at rest than bringing another disaster.

You don't get the point.
They claim presidency is their right this time around and not vice remember they have invested heavily in the PDP even 2015 and other years some people shifted grounds though some came back and some never did.
They have always always made sure the give PDP at least 70% of their votes.
Them asking for presidency is it wrong to demand and besides the SS you are talking about has had presidency and which SE voted massively in support like the candidate was their own.

I am actually get nervous by the trending news we are all getting, how eleven Northern Governors and their remaining counterparts from the same North are supporting Southern President as we have all seen the President, in the person of Muhammad Buhari has geared towards sticking to the "Gentleman's agreement" of 2015; returning Power to the South.

Why am I really not comfortable with this really?

Any of the Politicians who emerges as APC Flag bearer to contest the 2023 election among these three men, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Proff. Yemi Osibanj and Rt Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amechi, as these are the top guns in the race. Will definitely share the votes with Mr. Peter Obi of Labour Party.

Yes, Obi is creating faction/Camp in the entire South, which East is inclusive. The bitter truth remains that Mr Obi, whom I love so much, can not win this election via Labour Party and the North know this.

This is the core reason it seems as if they are in support for Southern President, which will paved way for Atiku of PDP to cling to Power in relation to the massive votes he will get from the entire North unopposed.

There by coming down to the South to pick a running mate which is cancerous to the hope and aspirations of the South/East to chill at the exalted seat in As Rock through the Platform of APC or LP.

What is my verdict?

SW invested in APC in 2015 and as a payback they are requesting for presidency come 2023 under their flag.
With the recent news trending about nothern governors pushing presidency to South which will likely favor the SW and if that happens.

What remains the faith of SE in PDP?

Does it mean they are born to be a slave for PDP?

If they feel rejected or betrayed how will they show their grievance or will they let it go?
