Umahi knows what's good for Ebonyi and he has been able to win with same gesture. His diversity has brought good turns to Ebonyi state, and this was based on his politics.

He is a realist that is trying to align with powers that are potent. A man who knows Obi wont win his own sate in a National election, and people want him to believe the fiction and mirage that Obi can win.


Umahi is a clear realist who is not chasing shadows, he knows what is real and what Ebonyi people stand to gain.

I wonder why the youths would not give him their support, seeing that he's never been involved in governance and his name has not been associated with official corruption one way or the other. But the Nigerian youths have a curious way with themselves. How could anyone refuse to give support to a person who, being a former student leader in his university days, has been fighting against official oppression in the Nigerian system, but should prefer any of the MESSERS of our patrimony? FACT CHECK: Did Peter Obi Build 10 Hospitals, Win Bill And Belinda Gates’ Best Gov Award In 2013?

A viral post made on Twitter by one Prince Ujay has been shared on other platforms including Facebook, claiming that former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won Bill and Melinda Gates’ award for best governor in 2013 and built 10 hospitals.

The post read: “Are you aware that on July 6, 2013, Peter Obi won the Bill Gates and Melinda Award as the best Governor in Nigeria? And used the money to build 10 hospitals! Go and verify!” #PeterObi2023″.

According to the tweet, Obi disclosed at a flag-off of the National Obstetric Fistula Repair Programme at the Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Akwa that he had matched the $1 million grant with N120m to execute the project.

Verification

Checks by Daily Trust revealed that Obi was not named the best Governor in Nigeria by Bill and Melinda Gates in 2013.
However, he won the award for best performing governor on the eradication of polio in the South East and got $1m grant.
Obi in several interviews pointed out that the state would add N120m to the $1m grant to build 10 maternities in the rural parts of the state, build a hostel block at the teaching hospital for medical students and use it for fumigation exercise to fight malaria.
A comment under the tweet read, “A million dollars to build ten hospitals? Haba! Stop trying to sabotage our combined effort by exaggerating stuffs. He is good and commendable for all his hard work. Please, you don’t need to falsify the achievements of an achiever.”

Conclusion

While Obi did promise to build 10 hospitals with the funds, Daily Trust could not independently verify whether he actually built them before he left office. The post is also misleading by claiming that Obi was recognised as the best governor in 2013 by Bill and Melinda Gates.

Delegates are party leaders in their state,local governmemt and wards where ever they belong,they also control the structures.The electorates always follow the the voting pattern of their leader(s).so the voting pattern of the igbos at the just concluded APC primaries speaks volume.

Delegates vote in party primaries.Ninety percent of general electorates que behind their leaders during general elections,the leaders are those that just voted at the party primaries.So the voting pattern will not change in the south east.

Since you said Ghanaians,it means it is beyond Naira from which the forum has gotten its name but also Cedi.

Hence I said,the Hausa too should be included since Its a Nigerian language spoken by the majority.

Pidgin is not our lingua franca nor Nigerian.

Ghanaians are welcome, so Northerners should be welcome.

Niger republic,Chad,Benin and Cameroon are nearer to us.

South South people don't know about Labour party as yet, they should be sticking to what they know

South West is locked for, Apc Tinubu

Northern votes will be shared between Apc and Pdp as Labour party is still one of the end of the year political party.

So where will Obi get his votes from outside SE?

Obi's supporters should at least be realistic instead of being optimistic

1.Does not represent most Nigerian workers...especially those in the informal sector.

2.Is in the backpocket of governments past and present.

3.If NLC and TUC have been backing Labour party, why isn't it doing better since it was founded some 16 years ago? That means that workers in Nigeria vote for other parties well well.

4. Peter Obi and LP have to do more than that.

The Real Tinubu
Tinubu is so sick that he can't even squat or sit and pray. His left hand is dead and always hidden in his clothes and can't hold anything. Away from his health, he is dangerously corrupt and believes governance is all about thuggery, looting, stealing and building evil dynasty. He has no morals or scruples, every known thing about him is trickery, cheating and bribery. He is a modern Lagos slave Lord who ruled Lagos for 8years and brainwashed Lagosians that he singlehandedly built Lagos when even Lagos was built by federal government. Today, no one remembers Fashola, Ambode as the former governors of Lagos who did a lot better than Tinubu.
Above all, our experience with Buhari's health can't be wished again. Buhari's health affected Nigeria and took us back in everything. Every Nigerian is crying. North is talking of presidency because of Buhari's health. They felt they lost too. North is worse now than before. Buhari couldn't do anything because of his health and we have another deadman disturbing us. Say God forbid. Tinubu should go and rest. We are not selling Nigeria.
Tinubu has stolen a lot of money. If you know how to praise him and collect the money like the north and some wise southerners are doing, please do. But don't come to our houses or important social media platform to promote a deadman who will make our condition worse. A vote to Tinubu is a waste. Don't promote what will affect you and your children.
