Mary quickly wipe off the tear that was falling from her eyes, he is not worth it.....
Without hesitation She went back into Manny's room....
She thought of guessing who sun is but she couldn't... All she keep thinking about was Francis......
She sat on the bed and cling the white teddy bear to herself, He cheated on her, that isn't something she can forget, she will live to remenber that probably till the day of her death..... He stoop so low to have sex with common slut....
She knitted her brows and wipe off another tear that was about to fall from her eyes... Why can't she stop thinking about him.. Why does he always invade her thoughts....
She pick up her phone and thought of calling someone... Someone that could distract her from her thoughts... She thought of calling Sharon.... She bit her lips when she realise wasn't the one to talk to... Sharon will probably hang up on her.....
She scroll down her dialled numbers.... She made a faint smile when she saw Jacob's number... She could call him.. At least for the past two days, Jacob has proven to be a better friend than Sharon...
She hesitated a bit.. Then she drop the phone on the bed..... She pick it up again then she called him....
She was inclined to end the call as it started ringing.... But just then the call connected and his voice came up.....
Confused on what to say she said "Hi.... "

She grind her teeth when she realise that was what she was supposed to say.....
"So how are you doing, is she back....? Jacob ask

She resorted to a straiface when a knock sounded on the door.... She just wish and pray that Francis is gone...
She quickly left the room.....
The knock came again, this time it was faint as uf the person was tired of knocking....
She quickly peep from the window.....
She frown when she saw him standing there....
Infuriated, she quickly walk to the door and open it..... "Do you mind telling me what you are still doing here....? She raved
"Am not leaving here until you believe me"Francis said back putting his hands in his two side pockets..
"Do you know i can call the police to arrest you for lurking around this premises...."
"Go ahead,call them, let them come and arrest me for resolving issues with my girlfriend.....
"Ex girlfriend.... "Mary interjects
"Whatever you say, but know am not leaving here until everything is resolved..... "He said then he sat on the balcony.....

Mary groan thinking of all the possible ways to chase him away.....
"And i heard Manny is missing, have you heard anything from her....... ?
"Not something i should start sharing with you.... "She blared out
"You know, i could help, even if i never really liked her, i can help in finding her if she is missing.. "
"No-one is asking for your help....."Mary cut in shapily
"Oh.... Then i guess i will just have to sit here..... "
"Fine, sit there.... "Mary said with irritation in her voice.. Without a second glance at the him, she went in and slammed the door....
"Am still here, aren't going nowhere "Francis shouted from outside
Mary knit her brows.... She sat down on the chair, then she stood up again... Wby can't he just go.... Then she thought of the help she can get from him....she inhaled deeply, what is she thinking.. She hates him for what he did to her, she cant ask for his help...
She exhales then quickly walk to the door and opened it.....
She gave him a dirty look...... "You want to help in finding Manny? She ask with frowned face
"If you are asking.... "Francis scurred.
"This isnt a game,you want to help or not. ?she queried
"Fine, i will help"he said jumping down from the balcony.....
"And a point to note, this isn't taking you back.. This is strictly helping to find Manny.. "She snapped...
"Alright whatever you say.... "He said with a smile....
He sigh, a sigh of relief as he followed her inside......
"So how long have she be missing? Francis ask
"Four days.. "She replied with disgust....
"Could she have gone out to see a man....?
Mary gave him a dirty look....
Francis quickly realise he just made a silly remark... Mary like her friends and she gets angry when such things are spoken about them....

A knock sounded in the door again... For a split second, Mary thought it could be Manny.. Then on second thought Sharon....
She quickly opened the door....
With wide eyes tinge with smiles that followed, she stare at the person outside..... "I thought you said you are going for an occasion..... "
"I am, just not time yet, i wanted to surprise you. 'lets say i was so curious on knowing about your findings after you ended the call.... "Jacob said jokingly
Frown lines encroach on Francis forehead as he saw Jacob..... "Seriously, we are trying to resolve our issues and you called a third party"Francis blared out
"This third party as you call him will be staying while you will be leaving..... "Mary retorted...
"Am not going anywhere...... "Francis replied shapily
"Oh yes you are... "Mary snarled
"okay, nobody is leaving, we should all stay here"Jacob interjects.....
Mary grunts, then she gave Francis a killer look....
Francis drool his eyes at Jacob....then he sat down....
He watch as Jacob sat beside Mary.. It annoy him, he was inclined to sit in their middle but that will be childish..... "
Jacob wink his eyes at Francis, his stare was making him a bit uncomfortable..... "So does he know Manny is missing....?
"I know.... "Francis answered shapily
Mary suck her teeth then she shift her gaze to Jacob.... "I find something in Manny's diary, maybe if we know more about it, it could give us a clue.... "
"Seriously Mary, are you going to tell that to this guy, how long have you known him... Two months, one week. I know he is not your friend.. "Francis cut in infuriated
"Can you please mind your own damn business, you are only here because he permits you.... "Mary said back....
Jacob scoffs... "Look man, i know you don't know me and we might have started off on the wrong toes.. But i assure you, am cool..... "
"Cool........ "Francis intoned...... "Well i don't like you and i don't think you can be trusted... And to be honest, am glad we started off on a wrong foot...... "
"Francis...... "Mary queried....
"Come on Mary, do you know who this guy is, he is trying to get under your skin...... "
"Come on man, what's your problem, are you jealous....? Jacob ask irritated..
"You are getting too close to my woman... That's my problem... "
