RomanceRe: #Debate: Money Sustains Romantic Love# ~ENDED~ by Riskyman(m): 9:06pm On Oct 07, 2012
Killz, when is d second round starting or should we continue supporting out motions?
RomanceRe: #Debate: Money Sustains Romantic Love# ~ENDED~ by Riskyman(m):
All protocols duly observed...

The issues of relationship goes hand in hand with money, please we shouldn't forget that we are in 21st century where money talks... Who among d opponents can explain how I can keep a relationship with befitting young girl of my choice (say 21-25, a student/working class, from at less an average home and have seen d good side of life, and d advantage of moni) without having at less moni to change her wardrobe once in a while, her cream, making of hair, BB/Iphone etc, how on earth will the relationship hold water?

I have been there and I have done dat, I'm talking from a guy's point of view (keeping a relationship without an income, is like going to war with arms and protections... Coz you will die of heart attack) keeping. I mean, I'm saying dis because I don't believe in true love or that true love doesn't exist, but its just for the fact that I had the opportunity to approach a girl and after wooing her, I can't afford a transport fare to even visit or give her at less three mins call on my phone and I ended loosing her coz I couldn't keep in touch with her.

Since I started working and can afford to make ten mins calls, take a drop/cab from my house to her place and also can afford to tell her take a drop that I will pay once she get to my place, I have been able to keep a relationship for at worst one year, which I couldn't do when I didn't have any income. I'm not talking about collage relationship here, I'm referring to after school/real life issues.

With this few point, I hope I have made enough sense to be understood. Thanks... More points coming ur way (Takes a bow and stand at the side line)

Try reducing the number of times you call her and try spending time with her (Real life, not on phone). maybe that will help.

PoliticsRe: The Day I Saw My Father Cry by Riskyman(m): 5:19am On Oct 04, 2012
@Mimi, i'm so sorry for your lost.. it happens in Nigeria like everyday (Human life is almost nothing here when compaired with money or stuffs, a country where the Police force that are suppose to maintain order kills for as low as 20naira, i bet you the amount of money the hospital wanted as deposite is not up to 50,000naira and they let a life die just like that. Now the funny side is that the law keeps silence on such matters.)

I just pray the good lord will give you and your family the grace to bear your lost.

cheers
