Israeli Government Silent Following Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest Kanu's IPOB members have repeatedly assured us that they had strong Israeli government backing for their agitation. This claim seems to be inaccurate, as the recent high-profile arrest of the Biafran secessionist leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has been met by stone cold silence from Tel Aviv. Other world powers, including the United States, China, Russia, Britain, and the EU, have similarly avoided challenging Abuja on this issue, and have been mostly silent. I wonder if any IPOB member here has an explanation for this? Silent on Kanu Arrest - Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett. https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpsprodpb/13D32/production/_118320218_bennettnetanyahureutersnov2019.jpg |
nlreserve:That graduate should save money and start a business selling grilled chicken on the roadside. He will earn ten times more than that 15k a month. |
Wickedtruths:Stop parroting white racist lies. Africans did not live on trees. Dumbo. |
This Kanu of a man likes women too much. That is his downfall. WOMEN. |
WOMAN BAD. TRUST NO WOMAN. NNAMDI KANU'S DAD SHOULD HAVE TAUGHT HIM THIS. |
Valkrie:South Sudan fought a war and held the north to a standstill, unlike Biafra where the leader fled and the people surrendered. Now Biafra wants to fight a war with a leader based in London! How do you expect to win? By magic? |
USELESS TERRORIST BISHOP. WHERE IN YOUR BIBLE DID THEY COMMAND YOU TO SUPPORT TERRORISTS? ''Then He told Peter to put his sword away, for “all who draw the sword will die by the sword” (Matthew 26:52). MUMU BISHOP! |
ALTERNATEID:I keep telling the fools the same thing, them no wan hear. ![]() One thing these folks fail to realise is that the world is scared that if secession is allowed in a big, prominent nation like NIGERIA, it would set off latent secessionist tendencies in THEIR OWN COUNTRIES. Almost every large country has secessionist groups. The USA has nearly 50. Canada has at least 10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secessionist_movements_of_Canada India has many secessionist groups, some of which have been violent, and thus attracted government forces. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separatist_movements_of_India So secessionism is not a new thing. It is when you start getting violent that you attract govt clampdown. IPOB guys need to go home and do what every sensible secessionist group on earth does - agitate through the political process. |
prekumohtim:I disagree. I can guarantee you that if this traditionalist is elected governor, he will be the most honest and hardworking governor in the nation's history. Insofar as he is a conscientious traditionalist, not the negative type who work evil, he will be bound by his traditional deities to do right by his people. If you don't know the history of the nobility and uprightness of your people, go and do some research. |
djevino:It will be a tiny weak bitch of the western powers just like Equatorial Guinea. They have oil money, which one dictator just sits there sharing among his family and local/foreign cronies, while the population sees little to nothing. Here's what your president would do. He will hire foreign mercenaries from say Israel or USA, plus his elite troops to guard his palace, and he will clamp down on opposition, be highly corrupt, and he will have the backing of the western powers. If he tries to turn good leader and develop the country, he will be assassinated or have western-sponsored rebels sent against him, to topple him. That's how it works with small, resource-rich African countries. That's the script that been in operation since before you were born. |
hisgrace090:I have no position on that topic. Face the topic - manufacturing. Oh and by the way, Manufacturing is the key to ending poverty, which is the root cause of most of the problems afflicting us. This plant alone will employ 5,000 Nigerians whom may otherwise have become bandits or kidnappers. The more manufacturing we establish, the better. |
hisgrace090:Hype merchant. 99. 9% of farms in Nigeria have NOT been taken over by anybody. Millions of Nigerians are going to their farms daily and returning home safe and sound. Excuse making experts. 40,000 people get shot dead each year in the USA. But if they give you visa you will rush there tonight. |
hisgrace090:Because you people refuse to go into AGRIC, preferring to waste time on Nairaland abusing Buhari. Go to your village and demand a piece of land to cultivate. The more people do that, the more food will be available, and the more prices will fall. At least now there are restrictions on open grazing coming up across the south, so you will run out of excuses over 'herdsmen'. |
Dmarkz:If you can't afford pure water, GO TO YOUR VILLAGE AND FARM. There is big money in farming now. You can't afford pure water but you can afford data to post nonsense on Nairaland. Mr govt blamer. |
Dmarkz:There's more to life than 'politicians'. Stop letting them dominate your mind and existence. Instead, think about how you could leverage this project and be creative or productive. Nigeria will benefit more from that than from your ....disgruntlement. |
Dmarkz:We are alive. Stop relying on what you read in the media that overblows everything negative. How many of us have been hurt, or personally know anyone that's been hurt in any violence? Less than 1%, I'm sure. Make we hear word abeg. |
Nigeria To Wave Goodbye To Imported Trains, and Build Them IN NIGERIA Instead. . Mr President is a man of few words, which is why news like this always surprises Nigerians. ![]() But as we're speaking, Nigeria is building a HUGE plant in Kajola, Ogun State, for the manufacturing of railway stock including railway coaches and other railway equipment. The manufacturing plant is part of the conditionalities Mr President gave to the Chinese company CCECC, before they could undertake all these railway projects we are seeing today. The railway manufacturing plant construction was inaugurated by VP Prof. YemI Osinbajo in 2019, with very little fanfare or extravagance, just like many of Buhari's silent but highly transformative projects set to take this country to the next level. Kudos Mr President, and VP Osinbajo, on this great stride in our march to industrialisation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5goHu8cW5M Kajola Rail Wagon Assembly Plant to Create 5,000 Jobs - Osinbajo The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo says the Rail Wagon Assembly Plant construction in Nigeria will generate about 5,000 direct and indirect jobs when completed and boost socio-economic activities. Osinbajo made this disclosure while performing the Official Ground Breaking Ceremony for the construction of the plant in Kajola, Ogun on Saturday. The Nigerian vice president Osinbajo speaking about the Rail Wagon Assembly Plant construction said: "The plant which is a private investment to be undertaken by Messers CCECC, is central in the production of rolling stock, spare parts and maintenance of equipment needed for the railway modernisation programme being implemented by this administration. "This ceremony is not just another event, it is a historic turning point. For us, the railway is not only an alternative and comfortable mode of travel. "It holds the master key to transforming commerce in Nigeria and across the continent. By linking our ports to rail lines and now, building the rolling stock locally, import and export business within, into and out of Africa's largest market will never be the same. "When completed, it is expected that the plant would produce some parts of the wagons for the Lagos-Ibadan and Abuja-Kaduna rail lines, but also for the central rail lines and to satisfy the needs of other rail operators within the West- African sub-region. "The plant would offer an important platform for engineers, technicians, artisans and other professionals to gain the specialized skills required for the production and maintenance of rolling stock. "This will invariably conduce to spin-off businesses in the region of operation and across the country wherever rail networks are in existence. "The plant is expected to generate about five thousand (5,000) direct and indirect jobs," Osinbajo said. https://allafrica.com/stories/201911100092.html

djevino:THANK GOD. And hope they keep their 'vaccines' well away from us as well! Awon Scamdemic. |
Here's a well-sourced representation folks: https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/gdp-per-capita?continent=africa |
SavagesWillLose:Post your source dude. ![]() |
Inaccurate. Nigeria's GDP per capita is above Ghana's. OP, you should post your SOURCE LINK, not just a photograph. |
Build proper sidewalks and get rid of those slabs that people will soon remove. |
Simplyleo:lol, Simplyleo, no vex with the guy too much.......Nairaland is a circus of incompetent people attacking their leaders for incompetence. |
crackhouse:Honestly. I've noticed a real transformation and energisation of Mr President. He's like a new man. I wonder what kind of new style Aisha showed him in bed that is sweeting his body like this. ![]() |
