NoSentiment:
Why do southern Nigerians have inferiority complex? An american is insulting your governor and you are celebrating because of hatred, inferiority complex and lack of self worth. If America knew that the big tech threatens its corporate existence it would have since banned it. But they know they have institutional buffers against the antics of the big tech and they are using them to control other countries so they wont set an example that other nations may follow, which will burst their bubble.

I don't know why southern Nigerians worships and lickk the backside of the Yankees. Anyway if a people lack values and moralities they also have such kind of inferiority complex.

I was in UK for a masters degree and saw how my classmates from the south were mimicking the way oyibo speak and even mocked me who didn't, telling me that how would I prove that I had been in the Uk when I come back to Nigeria if I didn'tchange my accent!. Oh boy, how condescending! I just laughed at their inferiority complex, cheapness and lack of self worth.

It is these kinds of southern Nigerians attitudes that even make these oyibo to patronize and look down on us. Get some self worth, my compatriots from the south. Come to north, where even a shoe shiner knows a white man is just a human like him.
You are 100% correct.

Even the OP's title screams 'inferiority complex'.

Some unknown character online ''disgraced'' El Rufai.

How did he ''disgrace'' him?

Would he say the same thing about an ordinary Nigerian who criticised an American official online?

Would he say the Nigerian ''disgraced'' the official?

Of course not.

Slave mentality.

Disgusting.

Oh OF COURSE we must know the HISTORY of Nigeria, and white elite colonialists were very much involved in that, Mr slaveboy.

That does not translate to ''hate all white people and ignore everything else they say'' my dear one-track mind cretin.

Do you think the people supporting the Twitter ban you quoted know the genesis of the situation in Nigeria? Do you think they did any form of research?
Have YOU researched Twitter for even ONE SECOND to know their agenda before supporting them like a brainwashed slave?

NO. But those commenters have, which is why we say they are on a different level from most of you Nigerians who still reason like SLAVES WITH ZERO SELF ESTEEM.

What do your likes even want sef, for all of social media to get shut down? I hope you know that nairaland is also social media.

These people making these comments on YouTube have gone beyond feelings of inferiority to oyinbo, and wide-eyed admiration for, and subservience to anything western, which is the level most Nigerians are still at.

Go back to school so you can learn specifically how to read and comprehend simple texts. There's a reason why we insisted on a referendum. This is an international practice whenever a destiny defining political decision is being undertaking. It has happened in Nigeria before and will happen again. Under referendum, different groups of people indicate their individual interests on what side they prefer. Nigeria will not have any Igbo group left inside of her as Biafra emerges. We all leave the shithole together unless a particular group votes to stay back.
Why don't you remove your dirty stinking selves from Nigeria RIGHT NOW by all heading back to your landlocked Igbo homeland?

Surely you're not waiting for a Fulani man in Aso Rock to give you permission to return to your own tribal homeland and declare your bush tribal republic led by thugs?

You must really depend on the Nigerian "shithole'' to feed yourselves and families.

However, that a state will survive depends on the administrators. If there are top administrators at the helm of affairs nearly every state will survive. But using the current governors on seat to judge...hmm not many states will survive.

Most North Eastern/Western states won't. Most Middlebelt won't (because of bad administrators).

South West states of Ekiti/Osun unlikely to.

South East states of Abia/Enugu unlikely to.

South South state of Cross River.
How will your state survive?

How will you replace the monthly allocation from Abuja?

Please give us specifics.

How is this your business Americans pay over 30% in tax every year ... paying tax is way cheaper than providing for your self

Better road means less car maintenance , free quality schools means less education expenses for your kids , quality government hospitals means cheaper health care , government expenditure increase means more job creation means more people buy from u ...it's a ripple effect even

It's cheaper to pay 60% as tax and get basic amenities than keeping 100% n providing for yourself

If we all pay 30% of what we use to repair cars as car tax it would save us 80% of car repair because bad road would be fixed n bad road are responsible for 80% of car faults

U are socialist in nature as a Yoruba don't try to understand capitalist igbos
It is easy to blow grammar online.

See ordinary fuel subsidy removal that causes riots. But no. You can just wake up and tax Imo people 70 billion a month with no problem.

Like I said, do let them know this plan of yours before they sign up for Nigeria's break up.

Why is it paining u none igbos even
I don't care about Igbos. This thread is about all Nigerian states. Voluntary contribution for a one-off project like an airport or church is different from taxing the Imo state masses 70 billion naira a month.

Afterall, Nigerian break up was meant to improve their lives, not make life 10 times harder.

This is not a well thought out post.

There are natural resources in every region.

Every region will take charge of the resources in their region and do as they like with it.

Besides, it isn't states that are breaking off, it is regions.
It takes YEARS and big money investments to develop those natural resources to commercially exportable levels. You don't just snap your fingers and start exporting gas, or gold, or iron ore in large quantities.

Plus today, no nation develops by selling off raw materials. Not enough money in it. You must manufacture. The question is, who will buy manufactured goods from new market entrants like you?

How will you compete with China for market?

You will be stranded, just like similar small countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia etc.

There is no state in Nigeria that won't survive

We igbos are ready to pay 30% tax to our biafra to get her going

We can tax beer , hotels , car owners , every shops ...that's where u would know human resources >>>>>> natural resources

Taxing all the hotels in owerri 20% which we would gladly pay in biafra ...can generate over 15 billion a month that's room alone ....clubs , drinks and food tax can generate another 10 billion , car road tax can generate 10 billion ...not to talk about business tax we would gladly pay that's another 10 billion .

Imo can easily generate 50 to 70 billion a month from her people

That's over what we get from abuja in a single month

Our gas and oil have not been included ooh
Do you have any idea how much social unrest, riots, and mayhem you will generate in Imo state by taxing the people such a huge amount of money each month?

I'm sure if you told them, they would insist on One Nigeria instead.

PoliticsIf Nigeria Breaks, Can Your State Survive Without Monthly Allocation From Abuja? by Rissamenti(op):
If Nigeria Breaks Up Today, Can Your State Survive Without Monthly Allocation From Abuja?

Look, let's not kid ourselves.

Just about all our states depend on those monthly transfers from Abuja to keep our states running.

From salaries and pensions of civil servants to that of teachers, doctors and nurses, payments to contractors for roads, flyovers, school construction, the list is endless.

Now, BREAKING UP NIGERIA means ONE THING, if nothing else, which is that THAT MONEY FLOW STOPS IMMEDIATELY.

THE ''Niger Delta Republic'' will own all the resources contained in its sovereign new nation.

For the rest of the country, it becomes a case of Everybody Answer His Father's Name.

Now, the question is this.

How many of your states have the financial capacity to offset an instant end to the monthly allocation from Abuja?

Oh sure, we know you all have natural resources like rubber, cocoa, gold etc.

But it takes a heck of a long time and MONEY to develop those natural resources to commercially available quantities.

Plus, because of their low prices on the international market, compared to the crude oil receipts of the past, your income will be much reduced.

So it's a heck of a challenge.

I don't think many of you secessionists have thought this through well enough.

As I see it, the only people who stand to benefit substantively from a Nigerian break up are the Niger Delta.

For the rest of us - south east, south west, north etc etc.... we might well need INTERNATIONAL FOOD AID for the next few years to avert mass starvation and penury. undecided
