PES 2009?
After PES 6, i lost ma confidence in Konami.
They are the wackest game makers with no room for any improvement.

I became a fan of FIFA in 2007 and i haven't looked back since then.
FIFA 08 convinced me more and when i compared it to PES 2008, FIFA won that hand down.
I copped FIFA 09 yesterday evening and i can't stop playing. . . . . The AI in this game is PEACH!!!

None but a terminally dumb person would expect the PS3 to be emulated on the current crop of hardware. The sheer folly of imagining a 3.2Ghz Cell processor system to be emulated on an 2.x Ghz x86 processor is frankly mind boggling.

maybe you should just confess you don't like stressing your brain, the game is about solving puzzles and the quantity of puzzles is what makes it really great, for a game to win that so much awards, then you know its great game.

maybe you should just confess you're still learning english! i never said GOW2 is not a great game. i said IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF NOT FOR THE QUANTITY OF PUZZLES AND THE SIMILARITY OF THEM.for me to say the puzzles are the only flaw in the game means i difinitely agree the game is great.or do i have to use those exact words before u understand?

i think god of war2 is a bit overrated. it woulda been perfect if not for those annoying puzzles.now dont get me wrong, i fancy flexing the muscles of my brain. but the quantity(one puzzle every 15 minutes) /similarity(cranks, statues n buttons on the floor) of the puzzles in GOW2 just makes u go aarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! not to mention the lack of satisfaction when u actually solve em(which is supposed to be the best part).

there were some very good games on it. nba/nfl 2k, sonic, resident evil: code veronica(one of the best in the series),final fantasy, power stone(one of my favourite games EVER!), n how could i forget SHENMUE,pretty awesome game. plus it was the very first console with online gaming/web browsing if i'm not mistaken.
my dreamcast is still somewhere in my house, it actually came on the last time i tried it, but the lens are dead.roaches prolly throw parties iniside it now.

And therein lies your mistake. Of all the thousands of people that have downloaded and are using the Ps2 emu, you'll be hard pressed to find 20 people who have gone out and bought a powerful GPU because of PS2 emulation.

You don't seem to get the point. With a laptop you don't need a TV.

the 'point' isnt really bout the advantages of playing ps2 games on a laptop rather than on a ps2. the 'point' is getting a graphics card for a large amount just so you can achieve 'decent' or 'acceptable' or 'manageable' fps isn't worth it.
trust me, i'm speaking from experience!
i remember quite vividly how much time i wasted in the name of "ps2 emu". all for what? 13 frames per second?

PS: u dont necessarilly need a TV to play a ps2. a PORTABLE 12inch monitor would do nicely

And no, a PS2 isn't portable. Even if you feel a PS2 can fit into some extremely baggy trousers, you need a monitor to view the gameplay. Unless u can hook the PS2 up to your retinas, it isn't portable.
