Hardballer:hehehe, person die? ![]() all the so-called hardcore PES fans who "saw the light" in Fifa were simply not as good as they thought they were. no PES grand-master would abandon it for Fifa. . . the little(yet massive) things that make PES great are conspicuously absent in Fifa. this matter has been flogged beyond death. . . let's just have fun playing the games. ![]() |
Half Time. Wilshere has been very impressive. |
that tackle was shocking. . . Gibbs was clearly onside. |
in other news, Hleb has scored his first goal for Birmingham |
Spurs are being played off the fukcing park. . . |

How the hell is that not a penalty? |

How can such a talented be excluded from a carling cup matchi'm perplexed!! |

Mobinga:Finished the campaign yesterday. . . it is EPIC! and now the real fun begins. . . i'm sure you're aware where that lies! ![]() |
Mobinga:This isnt about trailers, Fifa will forever be crap(compared to PES) until EA come up with a new engine that can rival the freedom and precision Konami have given gamers in PES. It's a shame to see their license waste, while Konami still have to call Chelsea "West London Blue" ![]() Hardballer:actually they "fell off" in 2007(PES 2008), unfortunately EA have only been able to capitalize commercially but still churn out crappy gameplay and entice gullible gamers with licensed kits, stadiums, controling goal celebrations and other stuff that belong in the shadow of how good the gameplay actually is. kashmo:this is EA's juju talking! ![]() Why else would you play a game just once and write it off? Like i've said before, FIFA has no depth. . . it can literally be mastered within a month. PES takes YEARS to truly master. I refuse to join the "FIFA is now better than PES" band-wagon. I'll be the first to tell you PES has been more than a bit disappointing this generation, but that doesnt automatically make FIFA better than it. I find it incredible that people have concluded the current FIFA games, which still play a lot like the older ones(which were universally certified crap), are better than the current PES games, which are also very similar to the older ones(which were universally certified genius). If you take a minute to actually think about it, you'd realize how ridiculous it is. . . |
HNIC:Arry is claiming he'll field his youngsters as well, along with the likes of Pavlyuchenko, Kranjcar, etc. . . whatever team Arsene puts out should be good enough to beat them, whether they actually do is a different matter. |
Vela owes me a hat-trick! |
Brazilian midfielder Sandro is set to make his Tottenham debut in their Carling Cup third-round tie against Arsenal. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will make widespread changes with Younes Kaboul out with a hamstring injury and Vedran Corluka with a back problem. Rafael van der Vaart has a slight groin strain and William Gallas suffered cramps against Wolves. Gareth Bale will be rested. Players likely to start for Spurs include Giovani Dos Santos, Niko Kranjcar, Kyle Naughton, Stipe Pletikosa, Jake Livermore and Steven Caulker. Harry Redknapp is ready to give Tottenham's fans a glimpse of a Brazilian future when he sends out a team full of youngsters. The Tottenham boss will hand Brazil's 21-year-old Sandro Ranieri his debut in midfield as he seeks to protect his big-name players. With a Premier League encounter against West Ham on Saturday followed by midweek action in the Champions League, Redknapp insists he cannot play his full-strength side in a competition Tottenham won in 2008. Redknapp said: "I can't kill off Gareth Bale. He had two games for his country, then ran a million miles in Germany (against Werder Bremen) down that left flank. He's still a boy. He's running on empty. I've got to protect him a bit. "We've got lots of players who need to play who haven't featured recently. They are good quality players who need games under their belt and some of the players need a rest. "I can't keep using the same players. I am going to protect some of them. There will be lots of changes. Arsene Wenger's done it over the years and played the youngsters even in cup semi-finals. You've got to do what's right for the team.'' Wenger will again rotate his Arsenal squad. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, Johan Djourou, Emmanuel Eboue and Kieran Gibbs are all set to feature having been unused substitutes at Sunderland, but youngsters Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Benik Afobe, Chuks Aneke and Henri Lansbury are also likely to be involved. Midfielder Alex Song will serve his one-match suspension following his red card on Saturday, but the Gunners do not yet know how long captain Cesc Fabregas will be out for with a hamstring problem. Whatever side Wenger picks, though, it will be one he is confident will be up for the challenge. "This game comes between two Champions League matches, so there will be a lot of demands on your energy and competitiveness,'' he said. "However, we will stick with our policy - that means the first target is to qualify, we will have a team which will have a good chance to qualify, the second is to give games to those who need them and the third is to see if we can use some of our young players.' EA have cast a spell on gamers/reviewers. . . how anyone(who knows his football) would say Fifa is better than PES beats my imagination. That is the equivalent of saying Ratchet & Clank is better than Mario. . . SACRILEGE! ![]() |
