Imagine a nincompoop asking me why I wasnt comparing Messi's potential to Ronaldo 2 years ago, when Messi was already the best player at Barca and regularly getting into Fifpro World 11? Only a nincompoop would be talking about Messi as having potential to be better than Ronaldo 2 years ago when people in Spain were already arguing that Messi is better than Ronaldo, even in the middle of Ronaldo's 43 goal season.
