YES if you have 50M to bid yourself, else NO.

MMF is still doing above the minimum range of bids for even the 364 days tenor for the Treasury Bills.

Keep an eye on that range if you know you have the financial muscle to bid for yourself. Otherwise you will end up with a lower rate than the MMF as you can see from someone who got 9% in the recent auction. Although TB rates are discounted and not the true yield, I will prefer you still observe the space.

As long as you have below 50M, you are simply going with prevailing rates of your OGA AT THE TOP who is doing the bidding for you. So try and be your own oga with 50M to have total control

Gtb will always do it for me with less that 5% of the 50m.
MMF is not stable. Recently they were paying less than 7%.
Now that tb is high. It's better to lock it up there for the next 1yr

Cbn want to create black market for naira notes.
This will definitely spring up. People selling naira notes at higher values.

I remember when I made this comment that people started to criticize it as if it's a prophesy which you have to claim or disclaim.

Unfortunately it has come to pass and I never envisaged that it will reach to the point that people will have to pay up to 1500 naira to get 10,000 naira..

If I was a prophet, I would have recorded this as one of my prophecies that came to pass. Maybe I would have had new members.πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

But you can always place request to invest via email.

POS can register their accounts as business accounts, and that puts the limit at 400k weekly. I don't think most of the POS units around make such high volume transaction per week, so they will mostly be fine.

What is normal in Nigeria is 100naira as charge per 10000naira. Now it's 400k will give a return of 4k as gain for a whole week.
So a POS agent will make 4k weekly and 16k monthly. U have not subtracted the cost for transportation to and from the bank and cost of data for the month. Cost of recharging the battery of the machine.
Haba. Those guys will need minimum of 1m weekly to stay in the business. Else they will charge more which will be bad for the economy.

Why exactly do people need like N20million cash outside that cannot be tracked by the banking system? Why do we like fighting every measures put in place by government to fight corruption? Why are we like this?

Dear Brother,
Nobody is fighting your policies. i do not have the power and according to the billionaire Prince, I am one of the poor masses. Actually, they are wonderful but dead on arrival.

If CBN want to go cashless fully, they should go and stop creating unnecessary black markets. but remember that even US have not gone cashless completely.
You and i knew that POS are not banks. It was just designed for retail shops to collect money from client. Today, they are like banks in some areas. Banks register them like microfinance banks. There are some places you have to pay as high as 500 naira before they can give you 10000 naira cash. this is the black market on naira.

Why will you kill a landlord because the tenant living in his house committed a crime and you can not find the tenant?
This was the same story that was told when they wanted us to link NIN. Many had accident and some lost their jobs because they have to do the linking but today, where are we?

It will be shocking for you to know that the so called big men are not even using the naira.
Are they spending from the same limit of $20 per month from the CBN?
This policy was there when presidential primaries were done.

The truth is that it is going to create more jobs for people that will sale naira to you in exchange of what you have transferred electronically.
Maybe this is part of the 130million jobs promised.

Seun:
What will people use to buy it, though?
Transfer. Eg, you went to village to buy a bag of rice at 50k. They insisted that you will pay cash. You will withdraw 20k at 20.4k from pos. The remaining 30k, you will have to buy from the POS agent at his rate. You may end up transferring 35k for the 30k you will receive.

I tend to disagree with you as it was not a natural disasters as you claimed.
Even the natural disasters can be forecasted and plans made ahead of time.
Cameroon opened their dam in 2012 it happened this way and also there was news then that this will happen every 10yrs.
We are currently in the 10th yr.
Govt should have construction a reservoir to accommodate this water.

Hahaha Funny you!

From all indications, you are either a land agent or land grabbers.
The two questions you need to answer is
1. How much is involved and also how much is the land?
2. Have u you thought of the high risk involved if u buy a land from land grabbers.
When u are involve in international trades, u will get to know why it's never good to leave ur money in naira. Because u will not only leave ur client frustrated but also ur money will loose it's purchasing power. And you will push the frustrations to the end user making them to suffer for the offence they did not commit.

Currently I am regretting the little I invested in tb @7% because if it was in dollar at this exchange rate, I will have 22% as at this morning.
Vote4ObiDatti:

"God help our country" indeed, when you're also part of the problem. Nigerians will use naira to buy dollar and hoard it. Some will demand for dollar officially and sell it in the black market. All these are rent seeking activities that sabotage the economy.

Why not look for ways to earn dollar legitimately instead? If you want to hedge against inflation, you can buy lands.

My primary advise has always being to invest in dollars. But more importantly try to earn in dollars.

Supported.
I bought dolar at @570 in April this year at 8% per annum. Currently it goes for 640 as at this morning. Representing 12% increase in just 4months.
God help our country.

My Dear, no need to be aggressive.
we are saying the same thing.

Amdman wanted to help Nigerian by offering them to buy cars at 1.2m or less. But your country never wanted that.
This is why i said he should consider not to put the words "or less" as your country can not allow it to be less.

I hope you have your PVC. Its not enough to be aggressive and outspoken.

POLITICS does not understand feelings and expressed aggressions, ACTION is what matters. GET YOUR PVC.

samuelson06:

You talk like someone that's ignorant of the realities in today's Nigeria.

Is Amdman the one responsible for the unstable naira against the dollar?

Is he the one responsible for the confusion at Lagos port?

Instead of blaming your country and yourself, you are looking for who to shift the blame to.

See, it's our collective loss if this guy isn't running this business again. Even though he gains from it, over time I've seen that he cares less about the business. That means he's doing something else to take care of his bills.

So, what exactly is your ranting?

Today, most of you are mobilizing for another catastrophe to happen to Nigeria after Buhari in the name of Tinubu. By 2024, you'll come back again to blame Amdman for not posting cars again.

We are not wise in this country at all.
