Jenifa1: We really do need to diversify our economy but what are we doing to achieve this end? we can't just start exporting cassava just like that.
one thing we could do is find ways to process cassava so that it can be used as a substitute for a food that currently already exist in the countries it is being exported to. ex wheat flour also start with our neighboring countries (west africa) and expand from there. I wonder what World Bank's ideas are in turning this into a reality. Our economy is already diversified. It is our export earning that is not yet diversified. |

Meanwhile they are now blaming the Chinese and Russians for drop in income from fishes. You are suc h a dishonest person. Tell me , if Jonathan and his surrogates didn't empty our treasury and savings, this government would have had something to fall back upon. But , alas they met an empty treasury , depleted savings and huge debts. All these despite huge dollar earnings from oil sales. |

Sports › FIBA Afrobasket News: Nigeria Vs Cameroon In The Quarter Finals. by rlauncher(op): 3:44pm On Sep 12, 2017 |
In the ongoing FIBA Afrobasket 2017, Nigeria's National Basketball Team the D'Tigers will on Thursday the 14th of September, lock horns with their Cameroonian counterpart, in an encounter that promise to pose another big test to the D'Tigers after being unconvincing in their last match which they lost to Democratic Republic of Congo 83 to 77 points.
The DRC topped group A with 3 wins, while Nigeria came second in the same group with 2 wins and a loss to the group leader, thereby setting Nigeria against Cameroon who emerged the leader of Group C with 2 wins and a loss to Tunisia who eventually emerged the second in the group.
It is very important that Nigeria emerged victorious against the Cameroonians on Thursday, because anything to the contrary would see them not qualifying for the FIBA World Cup in 2019. Qualifying will also give them ample time to prepare for the world event, as the team is essentially new with promising and bludgeoning talents.
Let us sent our best wishes and encouragement to the team. They need to know that Nigerians are behind them and sheering them on.
GO! Go! D'Tigers. Go on and defeat the Cameroonians. Go ahead and qualify for the World Cup.
Go! Go ahead and defend your title successfully and bring the Championship trophy back home.!
Up D'Tigers!
Up Nigeria! |

Health › Birth Control Pills Induces Homosexual Behavior In Grandchildren by rlauncher(op): 5:32pm On Sep 11, 2017 |
The result of research findings conducted 30 and 50 years ago in the USA by pharmaceutical companies looking to push their new products for preventing unwanted pregnancy revealed that the grandchildren of users will develop a high risk for homosexual tendencies. These research was conducted on lab rats. After subjecting the rats to the drugs, they discovered that a very high number of their second generation started exhibiting homosexual behaviours. In other words, the research findings predicted that by the year 2000AD and above, we are going to start witnessing a large number of people developing homosexual tendencies. This research findings was suppressed and hidden from public knowledge for the drugs to sail through government approval. Little wonder so many people are suffering from sexual dysphoria today and coming out as homosexuals, lesbians, transgenders etc. This is to inform members of the public about what is going son in the world . Please, share this with as many people as possible. References: www.Americanthinker.com/articles/2017/09/birth_control_and_homosexuality_unintended_consequences.html |

raker300: I hate double standards..
Where was all these campaign of love during the 2015 election that was a tribal war against the Igbo? Stop twisting history. There was never a time Yorubas campaigned against Igbos. The internet as we speak is filled with all sorts of negativities written by Igbos against Yorubas. This was what we were campaigning against in that picture posted by you. Igbos should give up the idea that they can use negativities such as badmouthing and name callings on the social media to manipulate us into attempting to break up the country just like they have been doing all this while. |
Politics › Re: On What Basis Is The New Profound Hatred Between The Yorubas And The Igbos? by rlauncher(m): 3:35pm On Sep 10, 2017 |
NothingDoMe: No. It was/is Buhari the hate speech Master.
He made it obvious that anyone who didn't vote him won't benefit from his tenure. The yorubas not wanting to eat their words and negatively impact the Vice president still supported their choice. So the war began with the Igbo's their southern counterpart that refused to bow under such a bigoted leader called Buhari.
Now their eyes Don clear. There is nothing wrong with this government. We just came out of recession caused by Jonathan and Okonjo Iweala. This government is not stealing from the country like Jonathan's government. We need to focus on helping this government to succeed further instead of spreading hate because we don't like the person in power. Igbos need to learn how to lose elections and still keep their heads. |

tommynico: It's really disheartening to read online the bitter and hateful words being used by both parties. Majority of us ( Yoruba and igbo) have friends from the mentioned tribes, why can't we just see ourselves thesame way we see our individual friends. I know this country can be tiresome and at times confusing due to the decisions and desires of some powerful few but I do believe we can still rise above this negative rivalry and instead compliment ourselves and become better. History as well has given us reasons to be at odds but we have come a long way, even up to the point of intra tribal marriages which have only bonded us together as a sign of prosperity and goodness. It helps no one to hate but it is much more refreshing to the soul to live happily with one another because hatred will only make see the other from the fault side and not the possible goodness in them. Please my dear brothers and sisters from both sides of this widening gulf, we should stop it all before it consume us all, Let those who want to be apart do so with respect to the other group and not with hatred.......
Oga lalastical.....help us preach the gospel please. We, Yorubas don't hate Igbo's or anyone. Just because we resist Igbo's calling us names all over the social media does not amount to hating them. I believe it is the other way round. |

The Nigerian Basketball national team, the D'Tigers have maintained a perfect start at defending their title and qualifying for the World Cup in China in 2019 by beating their challenger Mali by 90 to 67 points on Saturday night.
They have previously defeated Cote D'Ivoire in a pulsating encounter by 78 points to 77 that saw them coming from 4 points behind towards the closing minutes of the encounter to take the lead and winning the match.
Their performance in their first match, though they won sent fears and doubts into many Nigerian causing them to question the ability of the D'Tigres to defend their title. However, with the sterling performance of the national team against Mali in this encounter, I would not be surprised if Nigerians would begin to change their mind about the abilities of the D'Tigers. The D' Tigers must qualify for the final to qualify for the World Cup.
The D'Tigers next opponent in the group stage will be Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday 3:30 pm.
The floor is now opened . Let's sheer up, and appreciate the D'Tigers.
