pweeryambre:
I was recently posted to a different unit at my work place, under a very cheerful boss lady. She has been very good to me like she chats me up all the time and takes me out to lunch most of the time. But lately, I noticed she's been giving me attitude, she's been doing that to the point it's affecting my work around her.
She has become so stiff/rigid around me like I'm always uncomfortable and tiptoeing around her, she stops taking me to lunch or sharing stuffs with me, she starts to give me work to do with no instruction and when I turn to ask her question I see she doesn't even want to make eye contact, like she doesn't want me to ask her questions or be around her at all. I once sent her a text message that I feel she's giving me attitude and it makes Me to not know how to react around her and that I am sorry if have done anything wrong. But she did not reply.

Today she gave me a job to do which happens to be confidential but gave me no heads up about it and when I'm done I went and submitted the job On the table in her office with her rival present there.
She later came to me to scold me badly that I have changed and that iam misbehaving. she said a lot of things which made me feel bad, but I'm sure she was the one that has changed.

I don't know how to explain to her how I feel without having any quarrel or upsetting her, Because it's almost looking as if she want us to have a quarrel or something.
Maybe, she likes you and she had seen you with another girl.

This news has just exposed the sea of lies by buhari's govt regarding boko haram. Why deploy fighter Jets if boko haram are not controlling territories? From the look of things and reports coming out of Bornu state, it looks like boko haram are not only controlling territories but expanding their empire across Lake Chad basin advancing down south with Damasak as their latest acquisition.
But what do we expect when a govt that claimed its fighting boko haram are the ones funding boko haram? There's nothing like war against boko haram by buhari's govt. They are on the same side with boko haram as far as entrenching SHARIA all over Nigeria is concerned.
Stop all this meaningless cries. Just because you once evicted terrorists from a place does not mean that they can not come back. What our military forces needs right now is our encouragement not politically charged mockery.

Point of correction. Withdrawing support from Buhari or any other politician does not amount to hating them. Hating those who support another party amount to political immaturity.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Was Duped Over N137 Billion In Purchasing Of 12 Super Tucano Aircrafts F by rlauncher(m): 12:20pm On Apr 28, 2018
Chefoflife:
Emerging information reveals that Nigeria was duped to the tune of over N137 billion in the purchase of 12 tucano aircraft’s from the United States without approval from the National Assembly.

President Buhari had without legislative appropriation approved the purchase of the 12 war planes from the United States at a cost of $496 million.

Interestingly, the market price of the aircraft $10.2million (bulk purchase) since we are purchasing 12 planes it should cost a total of $122.4million but Nigerians were charged $496m instead of $122m.

This means that Nigeria was duped tonthr tune of $373.6m (N137,484,400,000).

PoliticsRe: 2015: The Year The YORUBA Education Failed Them. by rlauncher(m): 8:05am On Mar 19, 2018
mekaboy:
I always read and hear yoruba's both offline and online claiming to be the most educated and sophisticated ethnic group in Nigeria. This might be true or not, but that’s the story for another day.

What baffles me is how the most educated ethnic group in Nigeria, will believe and settle in their mind that the list educated president will solve Nigeria's problems.

http://www.hopefornigeriaonline.com/buhari-is-weak-he-will-not-change-his-attitude-ibb-old-habits-hardly-die/
https://www.naija.ng/1115324-revealed-how-el-rufai-called-buhari-expired-candidate-2010-sings-praises-201.html#1115324
http://punchng.com/buhari-not-sound-economy-foreign-affairs-obasanjo/

Below is a list of problems they believed he would solve.

POWER SUPPLY : According to fashola, voting out PDP and bringing this man in will end interrupted power supply in Nigeria. http://thenationonlineng.net/to-have-stable-electricity-vote-out-pdp-fashola/

The same fashola after the man was voted : http://dailypost.ng/2017/09/26/fashola-denies-boasting-fix-nigerias-power-problems-6-months/

CORRUPTION : this was their favorite, well let's hear from Transparency international. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/02/corruption-getting-worse-nigeria-transparency-international/

All sorts of animals are swallowing money today .

INSECURITY : this includes wiping out bokoharam and "rescue" chibok girls. Today bokoharam have been tactically defeated, seriously downgraded, and not a strong fighting force. More have been abducted in dabchi to add to the numbers. We are now a ransom paying Nation under buhari .

EMPLOYMENT: Over 4 million have lost their jobs as at 2017 http://punchng.com/four-million-nigerians-have-lost-their-jobs-this-year-nbs/

HEALTH: he and his son were the first to travel abroad for healthcare

The list can go on and on .

what then is the need for education when it can't help in making informed decisions ? The amlajiris in the North knew the Buhari they voted and why they voted him. They did not vote him to build schools or fix roads and create jobs, they simply voted him based on religion and ethnicity.

The Fulani herders know the buhari they voted and voted for the interest of their cows. Today we can see that cows are given more priority .
The Igbo's knew buhari and voted against.

The yoruba's today appear to be the only ethnic group that did not know who they voted and why they voted him. Just like many Nigerians who invest in ponzy schemes like MMM, wonder banks etc , Pastor tunde bakare made a video then a called it "the buhari I know" . Today it appears the same Tunde Bakare did not or does not know the buhari he talked about.

https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2018/1/no-matter-how-you-look-at-it-this-is-not-the-government-we-all-hoped-for-they-have-performed-woefully-pastor-tunde-bakarevideo-2.html.

Will it now be wise to say that an Almajiri in the North is wiser than a yoruba professor ? because they know what they did and why, but the same can't be said for the yorubas . What is the essence of all the education if it won't enable you make informed decisions ? . Even the wife of the presidents regrets the choice of the Yoruba leader Tinubu .
Tinubu today, based on his wife's reaction can be classified as what Nigerians call "MUGU/MAGA" . According to Nigerians, a mugu or maga is a victim of advance fee fraud 419 or yahoo yahoo. There is a popular saying " once a maga, always a maga " .
Tinubu is like a man who is caught up in the net of local 419 people.

Those guys that wash money for you, then tell you to go and bring money to buy chemical to wash a container filled with paper . If you have ever been a victim of such scam, you will know that it's almost impossible for anyone to convince you that this is not real. Those into 419 will tell you that, the most important thing is to get the victim to make the first payment. Once the first payment is made, he or she can always pay again.

Tinubu has paid before in 2015 and as a result 145 staff of TVC lost their jobs. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/232896-tvc-explains-sack-of-145-staff.html

2019 in around the corner and he is yet to pay again. He is already trying to raise the land use tax in lagos via Ambode. He aims to raise more money for 2019. As it is today, even his wife can't dissuade from paying into the scam again . As they say "Once a Maga, Always a maga" .
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/259450-husband-treated-poorly-helping-apc-win-2015-elections-remi-tinubu.html.

So let's assume the Yoruba's are the most educated in Nigeria, and we in the south gather our resources and give the yorubas to go to the market on our behalf to exchange our resources for what we need. Does it mean they won't be able to tell the difference between real and fake ? Will they be duped of our resources and come back looking confused like pastor tunde bakare , who made a video of the buhari I know, and now does not know the buhari in power ?

Father Mbaka in the east, used the greatest manipulating tool (Religion ) to manipulate the Igbo's into voting buhari, But Igbo's choose to make use of common sense, than to be deceived by a religious politician .

To me, the greatest and most respected Yoruba man that ever lived is "FELA KUTI" . May his Agile and Radical Soul Rest in Peace. I will not be wrong to call Fela a prophet, because the things he sang about in the past are still happening today. Imagine how shocked fela will be if he came back to life today to meet buhari as president.

He will ask how it happened, and will be told that Tinubu the leader of the most educated ethnic group, fought tirelessly to enthrone him .His song Sorrows, Tears and Blood will still be correct today, if he performed it on stage. I am sure he will include Tinubu's name in the new modified version .

FELA and OJUKWU have 2 things in common . They are both brave, and are prophetic . The system of government Ojukwu fought for years back, is what the entire south is asking for today in the name of restructuring . What fela sang about is happening today, same as what ojukwu talked about.

I have singled out the Yorubas, because they are the major contributors from southern Nigeria where i am from.

There is a big difference between being educated and being intelligent. You can be the most educated but if your education cant guide you in making sound decisions, then you are unintelligent .

In conclusion, I rather be intelligent with little education, than with so much education and unintelligent .
OP,

Just because Buhari disappointed us does not mean that we were wrong to have voted out Jonathan. We indeed were right to let politicians know that non -performance in office has consequences, and we are ready to do it again in 2019.This is wisdom. This is sophistication if you like. Only fools would have attempted to bring back Jonathan in 2015, which would have sent the wrong message to politicians that they can steal this country blind all they want and get away with it.

If you didn't get the message, all I am trying to say is that you a f**l for writing this trash to malign Yoruba people.

You and the Op are doing a very poor job at justifying your personal dislike for this woman because out of all the lawmakers representing Lagos you just had to pick on Oluremi Tinubu. And i think most forumers can see through this. When will you guys beam your searchlights on the activities and performances of the other Lagos representatives so that people can objectively appraise her compared to the others representing the state? First the Op accused her of not being an indigene, as if she's the only non-indigene representing Lagos, then you said she raised bills that failed to pass, as if it is her fault that she didn't succeed in getting the bills she raised to pass. What about the ones repping the state without even a raising a single bill?? At least she was bold enough to defend how she spends her share of the perks in question, while her peers are too timid to even acknowlege that they receive such amounts let alone justify their spending. How is that a crime? Just come out and admit that this woman's major crime is that she is affiliated to Bola Tinubu and drop this silliness. The Op is just a shameless coward who prefers to attack Tinubu by proxy. If he is serious about his crusade he should attack the system that pays the lawmakers such high perks rather than selectively attack a particular lawmaker as a pretext.
The OP is right. Like me too, we thought she was one of the saints in the National Assembly.

Senator Remi Tinubu is not an Indigene of Lagos State .Who knows where she is from?

She did not get there on merit but due to the overbearing influence of her husband.

She has contributed nothing memorable since joining the Senate other than the theatrical shouting match with Dino Melaye and self indulgent talk on Valentine's day about who is better dressed. She brought the failed attempt to grant Lagos special status without doing her homework and insulted other Nigerians by saying Abuja is spoilt instead of trying to use persuasion she showed her political inexperience while actng petulantly

Now she has come out to justify, rather arrogantly, the 15 million naira a month jumbo package. Clearly this overindulged woman is out of touch with the mood in the country and the misery that is the life of common Nigerians
I used to respect this woman a lot until she issued the statement supporting the ungodly jumbo pay, and that from a woman when people are crying out for more women representation in the National Assembly. I was utterly disappointed and in shock listening to her comments.

GBTYO:
Pathetic liar you are...

The term Yoruba was coined by Sahelian scholar.

Much of the early written works of Yoruba history by the likes of Ajayi Crowther referenced this same Songhai Muslim scholar. The word Yoruba came from him and was propagated by the likes of Ajayi Crowther into the 19th and early 20th century vocabulary.

Never ever in pre-colonial times did the people now known as Yoruba ever refered to themselves as Yoruba.

So that makes OP (me) to be 100% accurate in my assertion that the term Yoruba was coined by an Arab Muslim foriegner
It does not matter who coined the name. Even the name christian was coined by idol worshipers. Does that in any way negate the essence of Christianity.

Many people in Edo and Delta are completely unaware of their Yoruba ancestry largely because they have been assimilated into their surrounding cultures. We know from our ancient history that Yorubaland extended from the coast of Ghana to Warri, Delta state, Nigeria. Not many people know that the Twi people of Ghana are Yoruba. We leant from history that after the Benin Kingdom invasion of parts of Yorubaland eastward, the surviving Yoruba tribes had to devise a means of survival which includes adopting some of the customs of their new overlords or neighbours to outrightly openly denying their identity in order to survive, such that overtime, some of them started believing that they were never of Yoruba ancestry.
