I don't run any research institute, I am a hausa Muslim and I considered myself detribalized as well. The truth of the matter is that the present style of grazing by the fulani where cows are allowed to roam about will definitely put them at loggerheads with not just southern Christians but Muslim hausa farmers as well and instances of such clashes have well been documented. On the present clashes in southern Kaduna I observed that locals are quick to kill not only fulanis but hausas as well in the event of any misunderstanding or trampling on farmlands which could ordinarily be settled amicably. Mere mentioned of a hausa or fulani Muslim in any issue is enough to shed his blood without minding what caused the problem in the first place. And it is not just fulani that are being targeted on federal roads and killed but hausas as well or any person wearing the look of a Muslim. I lost a distant relative to such crises who was traveling to his place of construction work along with two other friends in the same southern Kaduna. Only one of them managed and escaped to tell the story and as it is now, no muslim will dare travel through the area because even though it is purely with nomads, the locals don't waste time to turn it to a kind of religious crises where anyone that looks muslim got killed. So in other to minimize such clashes, fulanis must adopt a ranch method and locals must learn to seek justice through law enforcement agencies and their traditional institutions to get adequate compensations for damages done by cattles

Hi Nasman. I don't know anything about the Fulani culture but it seems you guys have a big problem with a very simple solution. The problem is that pastoral cattle rearing is no longer working n feasible like in the days of old and the simplest solution is ranching but ur brothers still continue to graze on peoples farmland. Logically, the north has the biggest land mass to support ranching but you guys still engage in pastoral farming and when either by mistake or intentionally you encroach on peoples farmland, there will be a violent confrontation of accusations and counter accusations. The US have cows in ranches, the Argentines have cows in ranches and as far as I m concerned, their cornedbeef is the best. Why can't your Fulani brothers be innovative, rear your cattle's in ranches and export it to the south where demand is? Nasman, kindly add your insight on my logic and let every one here on nairaland know the merits and demerits of my idea because the bloodshed is getting too much over cattle and farmland.

FYI Snowden didn't hack NSA, he was employed by NSA and worked with the Tailored access operation unit of the NSA. Tailored access operation the enables the US govt to spy on its citizens and other countries so he had access to many secrets and fled. Edward was a computer wizard who helped NSA to hack other countries but he started feeling guilty of those things he was doing with NSA & he betrayed his country by leaking those secrets. Yankee wanted to spread capitalism while the soviets wanted communism and it was this difference in governance that caused successive wars in the world especially in Asia. From WW2 to Korean War, to IndoChina War to Vietnam War then the Cuban Missile crisis. U ll see that in those wars, the countries were dividind, some of them wanted communism (east germany, north korea, north vietnam, mainland china n cuba ) while the others wanted democracy/capitalism (west Germany, south Korea, south Vietnam n Taiwan). If u look at these wars I mentioned, u ll see that both Yankee and the Soviets sponsored government s in those wars.

All these could be attributed to the skills and intelligence gathered from his early days as a former KGB Agent.

Putin might not be a good economist, in fact he sucks in this area but when it comes to international diplomacy and relationship, obama could learn a lot from him. Watch the way he rallies russia former enemies, makes friend with everyone with ease. His qualities are just exceptional. By the way, some of trump's elected cabinet members are very good friends to putin.

Obama's rush to expel the russian diplomats just shows how feeble and petty his administration has been. He has only suceeded in putting the incoming trump administration in a quagmire. Moscow has repeatedly denied involvement in the hack, the same way china denied the SONY hack.

RUSSIA should try and break DOD firewalls or HACK the NSA or NORAD then I will believe that RUSSIA is the boss and then I can assure you of a greater retaliation from the Yanks.
