Even some Nlders believed mercy won because it was posted on her IG but failed to see that the award was totally different from the category she was nominated with Tacha and were busy claiming that the OP posted fake news. Lies. BBN didn't give her all the publicity. Tacha was popular and even had a significant number of die-hard fans( i think over 287 thousand followers on IG at the time) before the reality show. I remember vividly the viral video where a group of people humiliatingly mocked her for auditioning at BBN last year despite being a standard Port Harcourt -based slay queen (Had she not been popular, how did those miserable ignoramuses who insulted her knew who she was??) Yes, BBN played a little role pushing her ministry forward but they didn't make her popular because she was already well-known and celebrated by her fans before the useless show.
